In the Goblet of Fire he takes Ginny to the Ball (albiet, it wasn't a very enjoyable experiance for Ginny, but...)
In the Order of the Phoenix, Ginny quickly corrects him when he says that he's "Nobody"
Also in OotP, he's captured by Umbridge's cronies while trying to save Ginny (actually, I think there are a few instances where he tries to stand up for her)

I like this idea. Although I'd be really happy if Harry and Ginny got together, I do agree that there is a really good chance of Ginny and Neville getting together.

That would be sooooo cute! I love ginny and neville, but i still think Harry and Ginny ar egood for eachother. But I think it'll be kind of a frodo thing, where frodo has been through so much trauma that having a relationship doesnt matter anymore. Ginny and Neville is a much more likely pair.

I've always thought, look at all the pain harry has had to endure in his life, even dumbledore says hes never seen a child with a more troubling past, with all this pain, sont you think he'd eventually become numb emotionally, hes already starting to with his anger....

most definitely. ginny may have asked him to the yule ball only so she'd be able to go, but over time came to like neville.
and in the future she'll find out that neville likes her too and they'll live happily ever after

Yes! Neville and Ginny!! Finally someone brings this up! They are surely to date sometime! I also think Ron and Hermoine will be together. Harry will most probably end up being alone. He doesn't need a relationship right now. He needs friends. Luna..-shrugs- I have a feeling Harry and Luna will become close friends though!

Of all the characters Ginny's been linked with, I think this one is the best ship for her. I really like Neville, he's a really cool character. So as he becomes more instrumental to the plot, I'm certain he'll start becoming closer to someone, and that someone, as people already have said, seems to be Ginny. Then again, it could shift wildly.

Not to be pedantic, scarletlionsop, but "Ginny" is short for "Ginevra".

I know that this sounds silly but Neville and Ginny do have stuffin common.

Yes if Ginny and Harry will not end together in the next books, the only person that could fit with her could be Neville, she has a very good relationship with him, she goes with him to the ball, I think they would be quite cool!

I like this one! It could be because I'm one of the biggest Luna/Harry shippers on the face of the earth, and Ron/Hermione was meant to be, so these two just kind of fall into place, but I still like it! Neville's such a great guy, and deep inside he's brave, just like Harry, and Ginny would like a guy like that, I would say, because that's one of the possible reason's for her liking Harry. Ginny could also bring out the Neville we all would kill to see. ^.^ Neville deserves the girl, Neville deserves the girl! XD

Although I think that Neville is everything that Lunas_Song says and that he does deserve the girl, I don't think that girl should be Ginny. She's so for Harry. Even though I could see her with Neville, I'd much prefer Neville and Luna. They have just as much in common as Luna and Harry do.
