Harry and Luna are a perfect couple... although Harry seems to be fighting it( Hes probably imbarssed to be the significant other of Loony Lovegood). Yes, he and hermione would be ok together, but they have been friends too long for a romance. Harry and Luna have many things in common, and luna seems to have a calming effect on harry(ie. one of the last chapters of OotP, she makes him feel better about sirius's death). They are destined!

Luna kinda anoyys me, it feels to me like she's just this random character who's there all of a sudden and we've just suppose to acept her like she's always been there::shurg::. Yeah. That's the fault I see in H/L (besides being a big H/G shipper). Anything evidence towards that ship could work for Neville/Luna too. I'm totaly not trying to upset any H/L shippers or invade your thread or anything. It's just my opinion.

Luna has lost her mother, Harry lost his parents. They can both hear the voices behind the veil and Harry feels sorry for her at the end of book 5. He also feels better after having talked to her.
And I doubt that Rowling would have introduced Luna if she was going to put her away in a far corner of the story. I think Harry/Luna would work very well!

Well I don't ship this, but I get why people would ship this. I'm for him being with Ginny, cause I think they macth nicely, I would like to see a nice little triangle, might spice things up a bit.

I definetly think that Luna and Harry will get together. They are just so cute. When I first read the 5th book, and came to the chapter where we met Luna, I was so entraced with the character. From that moment, I had a new ship! Although people say that there is th same amount of evidence for H/L as there is for N/L, there really isn't. Harry and Luna interacted way more than she ever did with Neville. She didn't talk to him at all really. There is no canon for their relationship. With Harry however, there was the whole mistletoe/Nargles situation, and of course the feeling of pity Harry got when he was around here. They share a common feeling. They have both lost someone, and believe that they are behind the veil. Luna will believe Harry about everything, and would never lost support for him. Harry needs someone that won't take everything in his life logically, and that is Luna!

Well people think that she'll get with Neville do to pairing with the 6 of them. And up intill that one sceen where he helps her look for her stuff he thinks she's kinda werid, and doesn't pay to much attention to her.

Okay, my reasons for supporting the Harry/Luna ship, although I am currently pretty neutral at the moment where it concerns Harry/Ginny against Harry/Luna, I would still wholeheartedly agree with either.

Harry sort of wears his heart on his sleeve, constantly angry at the world (not that it's bad that he's releasing any emotional tension, but it's not exactly helping him either), while Luna keeps her emotions pent up and lives in her own little world of serenity (which cannot be healthy).

Although Neville has lost someone along with Harry, he's not the one who can receive some anger management from her.

Their differences make them equals.

Yes, but read the train sceen from OoP more carefully. Ron wants Ginny to be with Harry. And where does it saw Lily was in Rawenclaw. Did JK Rowling confirm that? Cause I thought she was in Gyffindor.

It's pretty clear to me that Harry and Luna will end up together. I think that we all can reach a general agreement that all the eventual couples of the series will come out of the sets {Harry, Ron, Neville} and {Ginny, Luna, Hermione}. Here's the conclusion to which I have come with regard to each of the possible couples. Forgive me if it seems like I am picking a fight by expressing my opinions about all couples on this thread... this is the first (and quite possibly the last) time that I am posting in the "shipping" forum. I just felt bad that this thread had made it to the bottom of the list because this happens to be one relationship that I would support.

RON/HERMIONE: J.K. Rowling has as good as told us that this "ship" will happen. There's plenty of canon evidence, from books to interviews. I've seen the pinned Ron/Hermione thread, and they've got some good support for their ideas. I'm not going to post an exhaustive list of evidence here, because you can always just go to the other thread. I'd just like to draw your attention to a couple quotes from J.K. Rowling. I reckon that Harry really will get together with Luna. In fact, that is the first thing I thought when I put down the 5th book after two days of solid reading. It's their destiny. I don't care if I'm wrong though. I'll just be sad when the series is over. The same thing happened when I finished David Eddings' Belgarion and Mallorean. It's like being kicked out of a world you've been so intact with for ages. You want the story to go on forever and you want to be part of it.
