well lucky you sophie, i'm the youngest so i have a hard time because george (my brother) and stef (you know who she is ) have already done al the stupid things that are fun! plus my parents don't let me screw up because they tell me "didn't you learn when this happend to your brother/sister (it changes once in a while)



stef, that's a total lie... you can do whatever the heck you want, the thing is that you don't want to and it's because you're such a goody goody that my parents take it that you don't want to do anything, i'm not saying i'm the sociable kid that goes out to dances and stuff, i'm more like the going to gigs and concerts or going downtown and sitting there watching all the people pass by, so stef like i have told you so many times you can do what ever you want, you know dad will let you.

I don't think that's a guy thing Stef, I think it's a younger sibling thing. I know I'm always getting mad that my sisters are allowed to do a ton of things that if I had tried to do when I was their age would have gotten me grounded for all eternity. We're like the science experiment, the parents don't want to let the oldest children do anything because they aren't sure what will happen, once they have tested it out on us they are more comfortable letting the younger ones do it.

i get in trouble when i go to my friends house with out telling my parents, well they get mad at all of us expect for my bro, who does whatever he pleases and my parents root him on... and my sis is in the states so she can do whatever she wants, so stef and i are more like the ones that get in trouble if we don't tell them where we go, my dad doesn't that much but my mother is a real treat haha

lol well they only live down the road, and in the summer i sped so much time with her they kinda figure i'm always with her !

i thought of another annoying thing about guys ( and girls too i guess ), smoking. it's disgusting! i was in toen yesterday and there were these boys, about 4 of them, and they were our age, so about 13/14 and they were all having a smoke. gross. i wouldn't be able to stand near someone who smokes, let alone kiss them. *spew*

I officially hate you Sophie. I can never do anything I want because I have to 'set an example for my sisters.' I went away to camp last summer and got home and was grounded for something my sister did, because since I'm the example she must have learned it from me. Everything is always my fault, even if I'm in a different state when it happens!

As for a the who has more liberties, my sister and I have about the same amount. Well I guess that's not necessarily true, my parents trust me to make good descisions; therefore I can basically do whatever I want, ofcourse it helps having a car so they can't really stop me...so either they gave up, or they trust me.

Sophie, I don't know if we're saner, but most guys forgive and forget; and some girls don't do either of those.

I can basically do whatever I please as well, I think my parents trust me enough to not to idiotic things. But if I do want to do something, or go to th movies with friends, I always have to "earn" it, I never get money or priveledges handed to me on a silver platter.
And I don't mind that, I've got a good system going on with my parents right now.


Well, I'm only talking for myself here. But I take things very personally, I'm a pretty sensitive person, and I lash out at a person. I don't forgive easily, but that's just how I am. I put a lot of thought into first impressions that people give me, and etc,. But I don't think all girls are like me.

I think i'm fairly similar to you, i take things personally. People might say they don't mean them personally but most of the time they actually do. So i just accept everything they say as the truth and get hurt. hmph.

well i get £2 pocket money evry week ( £8 a month. great. ) so if i need extra money i have to clean or something (or beg on my hands and knees). some of my friends get about £30 a month, which is ridiculus, and of course im jealous that they get tons of money, but that's just plain spoilt really...

I'm the same way. I don't forgive easily, and I never forget. Once I've been hurt I hold on to it. I wish I could do just let things go, but I can't. I won't go around spreading rumors or any of that other garbage girls do. But once I've been hurt it will be almost impossible to get me to trust the person who did the hurting again.

Well,I am a little on the heavy side and I get made fun of a lot and I am used to it.

When I do that my voice is always full of sarcasm so it's obvious. And I always say that I'm kidding afterwards and then say that I love the person. lol. So, people can tell that I'm kidding. Oh, and I only do it with good friends, not with people I don't know well.

That drives me nuts when people make weight jokes. I'm rather skinny, and people always make comments to me about being annorexic. There's a guy in my bio clas who calls me his 'little bulimic' It makes me so mad because I do eat, I'm just naturally tiny.

To me, a first impression tells you alot about a person. Whether they're polite to strangers, whether they are really rushed and say your name wrong, don't pay attention to your interests, etc,. I put a lot of weight on first impressions, I'm picky about my friends, I don't want to confide in a fake person who pretends to be something they aren't.


I know. They are spoiled, but later in life, they're going to be the bewildered ones who expect things to be handed to them. Oh well. They've just got a different lifestyle than I do.
If I need money, I might get $5 depending on if I did a lot of chores, or $2 depending on I only did a little. I kind of like being in charge of my own finances.

I agree, first impressions matter to me. I trust my first instincts about a person alot now. There was a girl at the school in my old neighborhood who I just did not like, I didn't have a good reason for not liking her, but I did. Then she moved away and when I moved out here she was really nice to me, she really made me feel welcom into her group of friends, and I felt really bad about having not liked her. Right up until she stuck a knife in my back that is. Since then I trust my natural instincts, when they tell me I shouldn't trust a person, I don't.


My parents don't give me an allowence, and they won't let me work other than an occasional babysitting job for the neighbors or friends of theirs. Problem is, when it's friends of the family I feel guilty charging them. So I'm almost always broke.

I normally am pretty trusting. Or at least I used to be. In the last few years I've had to deal with more girl drama and knives in my back than anybody should ever have to. So I'm not really sure if that still holds, I know it's going to a long time before I have any friends that I can really trully open up to again.
