Hey, everyone! I'm starting a new thread on this subject and archiving the old one. Here's your place to talk about what the other gender does that trully drives you up the wall! Please try to keep to topic a bit more, the last thread was getting a little too chatty. This isn't supposed to be a dating/relationship type of thread.

Lol, okay. Like I was saying in the other thread I hate it when a guy or actually anyone promises to call you but they don't. So, you end up waiting all night eager for them to call, but they don't and then the next day they try to apologize and say they forgot.

Yeah, that sucks.

I hate the way guys look at girls. I mean, some guys just look at us like we're objects, and they stare and act all perverted. That freaks me out. I always feel like I can't really be myself around guys 'cause they're judging me and looking at me.

I also hate the way some guys just talk about shallow stuff like, 'oh yeah, I'd totally pash her' or 'Er... If I had to...'. It makes me feel like an object that is rated in its value and isn't important unless a guy decides they wanna pash me! How stupid is that?

well, I have a few guy friends...so being around guys doesn't really make me feel that odd...but yes; I kinda do get freaked out & disgusted by some of the pervets & womanizers'...god, you should see our bus...practically all the guys on it sit on the back seat so as to look at the rear end of the girls getting off...

mmm...well it doesn't exactly peeve me off...it just makes me annoyed...

Okay, I am in 8th grade, and the boys are horrible!!! All they care about is doing "it". And you can't get a boyfriend unless you are popular, and you have to be a complete B to be popular... And then the only guys that like you if your not popular look terrible and even if they are really nice you get made fun of if you go out with them... And the popular guys that you could go out with and not be made fun of are all stupid and make you feel like objects...
And all these guys during class will see who can drum the best with their pencils, and then all they talk about is how hot popular girls are. And they don't do their work, and then the teachers make you partner up with them to do projects and then you have to do all the work...
And I play golf, and our highschool that I'm going to next year has a golf team, but they have always had just guys on it, but there is nothing to say that a girl can't join... So the principle said I could join but the coach is making me try out, when the guys don't have to... THAT IS SO UNFAIR!!!!!
And at our school, you have to pay to get into the boys basketball games and then you have a consession stand and cheerleaders and a pep band... And the girls games are free, there is no consession stand no cheerleaders and no pep band... Its so STUPID!
And another thing I hate about guys is how they judge you before they even know you, last year my friends asked this guy out for me when I told them not to and he said I was freak, when we hadn't even said two word to each other!
I just think boys are so full of themselves...

I agree with you,Lil.They are!.A guy in my class,he is handsome(not much),thinks that each and every girl from the school has a crush on him.Some girls do have and do anyhting that pleases him.I used to ignore him..I don't like people who have that charecter!.He realised I did not have any sort of affection towards him.I guess it irritated him so much that he started to spread rumours thta I have crush on hom.We both had a huge fight after that and he really got mean between the fight and said some words which hurted me.Actually from this,I learnt boys(not all) do not care about others feelings.I'm not trying to pull up a fight here but the school I study contains boys like these..Sorry boys!!

I never really liked too many popular girls. Most of the time, the popular ones had the IQ of a brick, and it showed. Every once in a while you would find a popular girl who was intelligent and those are the ones that held some attraction for me. But for the most part my pre-mandi days were focused on nerdy girls who were pretty. Nerdy girls rock!

I'm not much into the dating thing yet. I just never put that first like most girls do. Well because of that all I can say is that I don't like when guys act really friendly. I mean when they seem like they like you, but you can't be really sure. Or if they have girlfriends and act that way towards you. Then you can't tell what your relationship is supposed to be.

This is probably stupid, but hey I'm not all boy crazy, or sad if someone doesn't call me. But I know how sad people get if someone doesn't call, cause my sister is always fighting with her boyfriend when he doesn't call her.

Man flu, I love it! My dad gets it from time to time, i know he's not sick. I don't think I'd ever do that, for one, I hate being sick, and two: I don't like people waiting on me, I'd rather do it myself!

I honestly don't see what the big deal about drinking is though. I guess in my family alcohol isn't a big deal, my aunt owns a vineyard in southern IL and she's building a winery/brewery on the property. And my parents will have the neighbors over on Saturday nights during the summer and have a bonfire and a few beers, So alcohol isn't a big deal to me because I'm it all the time.

ok i have another question for guys (it's funny how much i learn on this thread) ok what is it with guys and sound effects? example when guys talk about a car the go vrrrrrmmmmmmm and when the talk about a motorcycle thhe go vvvrrrrrmmmmm... i just really don't see the difference! and why make the noice at all?! lol and you guys can't say you don't do that because all guys no matter who they have gone vrrmmm at least once in their life!

Sound effects are how we convey things. It is really hard for me to tell a story without using sound effects. They make the story more colorful as well I also have the girl tendancy to move my hands around when I'm talking I don't really mind though

i'm not sure. British refers to anyone in the British isles really, so the could be welsh, scottish or irish. But people generally refer to British people as English, and then call Scottish Scottish and WElsh Welsh. To be specific i guess technically it should be English though...

As for the things that drive me nuts... I really get creeped out by guys who don't get the message. Or for some reason think that being nice means that you like them, or that you'll let them score with you. I know not all guys are like that, and it's horribly depressing to know 20 year olds who are still like that, but man! Give a girl a break!

Let's see, along the same lines as Sophie, I hate it when I offer comfort to a girl and they get offended like I am trying to hit on them while they are in a weakened state. First off, I have a girlfriend, and I am very happy, and second, just because I am comforting you doesn't mean that I am hitting on you. I have that same problem Stef, I'll talk to a guy and be nice to him, and he immediatley assumes I like him. It's actually caused me this huge problem with one of my guy friends, because he asked me to homecoming a few times and I felt bad, so I agreed to go just as friends. Then he overheard me talking to one of my girl friends about this guy I like who thinks I only like him as a friend...and somehow got it into his head that I ment him. Now no matter how I tell him that I don't like him like that, he just doesn't seem to get it. Look what being nice does to a person...

Argh! I know what mean. Surprisingly, I can be a nice person , and guys sometimes just get the wrong message. I had one guy about two weeks back who asked me to go out wth him, and I just didn't like him that way. And he didn't understand why I was turning him down because he assumed that I liked him because I always smiled at him in the hallways. I smile at everybody like as a way to say hi (just like how guys nod their chins lol) so I don't see how he could have got that message, but ah, that just irks me about guys.

You hit the nail on the head soccerchik, there aren't many things that peeve me off more than rich kids boasting! One of my sister's friends "evidentally" does that, I don't know personally we go to different schools, but that girl will get torn up in high school; haha I can't wait!
