i was looking through some posts and i noticed how many new people send a 'hi i'm new here!' post. and the mods have to tell them every time that its not allowed. i just think they have great patience with us cos it must get really annoying after a while! so i just think we should all say thanks! cos they really are great aren't they? show your support!!

Thanks for the claps doomed, but take some credit yourself. You do plenty of work on here too, its just that your off weeks came before mine and Dana's. I think Dana probably deserves the most claps of all here, she is the one that keeps having people attack her on threads...

Yeah all you Mods rock, I'm a fellow Mod myself (but in the chatroom) so I know what you guys are going through. It's not easy being a Mod, so all youse give them the respect they truly deserve!!

And of course, a big big CHEERS to Dana, who is a TRUE LEGEND. She has done more than her call of duty I reckon, especially in the Ships thread, and just wanna say mate, that I, for one, really really appreciate it!!

At the end of the day, we're all here for one reason, and one reason only......to share out enthusiasm for Harry Potter and that's the only thing that really matters.

Arguing, fighting and disrespecting other people's opinions just makes this awful for everyone and I'm sure that's really not what the vast majority of people here want.

I'm very happy to see that people are finally acknowledgeing their appreciation for the mods. You really have no idea what they go through. (I do, since I WAS one, and the TOP one at that *cough, cough* but I have since retired) They have to do a lot, and there's nothing worse then coming to the computer after a long day at school/work and then seeing this catastrophic mess of n00b-droppings all over the forums. I would cry, actually. It's sickening.
