This is the only couple that makes since to me. Hermione has Ron (vice versa). i'll type more later...i'm feeling kinda lazy. :?

I don't really know about harry and ginny. it's just that ginny seems to have gotten over him. maybe somene new will be created for harry.

But will getting over Harry allow her to actually look at it from a different perspective?

Sometimes you can't find a reason for screaming "No!" You just do. This is the case for me. I continue to hope that a new character will come for Harry. And Ron's behavior at the end of the book just irked me.......

I hope book 6 gets this romance on track. I never liked Cho. Hate Luna. Love the idea of Ginny (who not so subtly physically echos Harry's Mum) finally getting Harry's attention ... :wink:

I also like to hope that a new character will come along for Harry in one of the new books. I've read innumerable fan fics with a Harry/Ginny ship in them and none of which could I really see happening. Don't get me wrong, they were wonderfully written, it's just I can't see Ginny and Harry getting together at all. He's NEVER shown any interest in her other than in the form of friendship.

There isnt any evidence at all in the books that Harry even likes Ginny.

Ginny liked Harry. That's no brainer here. But Harry?

It took JKR three books to develop the Harry-Cho "romance" or what was left of it.

And by Bk5- JKR wrote in Hermione saying GINNY IS OVER HARRY.

Only 2 books left. What are the chances that Harry, getting more involved in his training against Voldy, would even find time to "ask a girl out" again?

And that scene where Ron is hinting at Harry, near the end of Bk5---since when did Ginny follow what her brothers tell her to do?


I believe there is more to the Ginny-Neville thing than with Harry. Fact is, Neville wasnt even supposed to be with the group at the MOM, had he not TRIED TO DEFEND (paraphrasing here...) Ginny agaisnt the Slytherin attack.

Now that is what promises to be "romantic" if ever there is one in the series. :roll:

I totally agree with this ship!!! I mean harry saved ginny feom the CoS, and Dumbledore said if you save someones life you have special bond w/ them. Oh and my other reasons for this ship are on the post i created called: Harry/Ginny Ron/Hermione

I've had this theory for a while. Who would harry and ginny look like as adults...Lily and James Potter! Lily had red hair and James looks just like Harry. Don't you think that this would be a good plot to have Ginny and Harry end up together! Plus, just b/c ginny has lost interest in Harry, doesn't mean it won't grow again! I would love to see them together.

Who was Ginny's boyfriend for a while that ended up being Cho Chang's by the end of book 5?!....Michael Corner! If Ginny was with Michael and Harry was with Cho and the sig others switched, then maybe Ginny and Harry will start dating now as they lament this turn in events! Interesting...

With Ginny's childhood obsession with Harry gone, it's very possible she might gain real feelings for him. I can't deny a repeat of "James and Lily" wouldn't be utterly adorable. Though, I think Ginny would be flat out adorable with Neville, even if he did only ask her because she was his last chance and she only went because she couldn't have gone otherwise... *shrug*

Yeah, I hope ginny gains real feelings for harry cuz it would be really cute. I think that neville should be with luna though.

Yeah, I totally agree with the passage you wrote peaceoflorien. I was on Leaky Cauldron and people were talking about the whole book 6 thing. and someone said that a harry/ron relationship was going to form and then people were like no a harry/ginny ship will form. They said that the Quidditch match was a clue how ginny 'caught the snitch right under Cho's nose.' Think of Harry as the snich and the too girls trying to catch him.

When he cast the furtive look at harry, he was telling Ginny to chose better boyfriends. They way i see it is that he was saying like Harry in a subtle sort of way. I think ron would definately approve. I don't think he wants his sister to be with anyone but if she had to he would want it to be with harry.

I don't agree, sorry. If u read the series carfully there are clues everywhere. Like the 'special' bond they have. (harry saved her life in cos. Dumbledore said in book 3 if u save someones life u have a special bond wit them.)
