i absolutely, perfectly, LOVE baking...its such fun...its relaxing, rewarding and enjoyable! i love baking aynthing and everything...but i'm talking about dessert...

In fact, I just baked three dozen peanut butter cookies from scratch. They are quite delicious, if I must say myself.
I love to bake brownies... Purely for the reason that I love to lick the bowl and spoons.
The only thing I don't like about baking is the mess I have to clean up afterward.

Honestly I'm not the best cook in the world but I do try to make a few things. The best thing I can make would probably have to be chocolate chip cookies. I like the feeling of accomplishment you get when you make something even if it does taste sorta bad.

I can make sugar cookies! I just buy the cookie dough and but it and stick it on the cookie sheet, i dont know if that counts as baking . Well besides that i cant really Cook but i can sure burn things!

Do I love baking? Well, I love to eat it lol. This weekend me and my moma made Banana bread. I love to bake especially when I have a good recipe to look off of. My sister and I used to try and make or own recipes when we were younger and they always tasted terribe. And ah, baking is fun, but just like Zoe I hate the clean up afterwards especially when we make such a mess with the flour.

I love baking a weekend or so ago i made cinnamon fairy cakes with my brother, yum they actually tasted really similar to these carrot cakes we got from a shop which we all love. i'm proud to make such good butterecream icing! lol

I just put some cheese scones in the oven, actually. I don't get much time to bake, but I really enjoy it when I am in the mood for it. My stuff always come out half the original volume though, because I eat as I go along. I can't understand why I love batter so much, but I do!

Being the resident tomboy in the family, I love doing something girly every now and then. (Like baking - and it's only girly if a girl does it. Guys who cook seem more masculine to me somehow. ) We've got quite a tradition for good cooking in our family, so the expectations are a bit intimidating! I keep a low profile when the family goes on holiday together... I just do cakes and cookies.

Yeah, licking the bowl and the spoons is the main reason for baking.
Anyway, I love baking and I daresay that my cakes not only never killed someone but taste not too bad.
I think I got the whole baking thing from my mum, because she is very good at it and I like to eat cake so much that I wanted to learn it. Yet I have to ask her to help me when I try to make some bigger tortes.
I have to admit that my cakes contain more chocolate nowadays since my girlfriend loves chocolate and forces me to make more chocolate cakes.

I love to cook but I hate to lick the bowl. Unless it is the mix for merangue or pavilova. I am thinking of getting myself a bread maker so I can cook lots of fresh bread too. My favourite thing to cook is muffins, chocolate cake, apple turnovers, piklets and pancakes, anything pastry and custard.

And it all goes to my hips. But I don't care. My daughter is a great cook but she taste tests everything she cooks. I never test my cooking. I hate the taste of things uncooked. But stand back when it is done. Yum

I love baking! whether it's a creme brulee (haha for those who have seen High School Musical) or a cake, It's the best if your just bored one day.
My favorite thing to bake are my own Cinamon pastry puffs!
There really easy and Quick to make.

I've envber made my own creme brulee ( haha i love HSM ) but i've watched my mum make it and it's scrumptious *licks lips*

hahah well i have a few things up my sleeve that my sis has taught me how yo make yes sophie she has taught me how to cook... hahaha i can make a really good chocolate cake ... i learned that last month and what are you guys talking about the best part of cooking is cleaning, i love to wash dishes hahaha

i can make gorgeous chocolate cake ( it's really unhealthy ) But still delicious... it has galaxy chocolate on the top as icing ( with evap. milk ) and it's just scrummy. i also make pretty kick a*s fairy cakes ! haha. ohh and i ahve a recipe for the yummiest choc chip cookeis i've ever tried I'm so sad because i haven't been able to make any of these because of lent ( well i amde fairy cakes ) but the yummy chocolate stuff

If it has a recipe, I can pretty much make it. But don't ask me to make anything from scratch... I tried that a few times and let's just say that it turned out... Less than perfect. I love making chocolate brownies and cakes. That sort of thing is my specialty! I'm really good with desserts and my brother makes Chicken Parmesan to die for. When we team up, you better look out!

Well to be honest I used to love cooking/baking cakes But the cooking lessons in school stopped in year 9 and I didn't want to chose it as an option so I don't cook no more. Everyone loved my cakes I do help a little with the cooking sometimes mainly help out with the chinse (sp) that my step-dad cooks They are really nice And his curries are too

I can bake just about anything! Because I am cool like that except pies. I stik at making pies. I love eating pies but I hate making them. I agree with Fany I bake when I am upset. And an example: My grandpa died in November. I go into the kitchen crying and then i make a dozen of cookies. (chocolate chip and carmel.) and then I ate the whole batch by myself. the sad thing is my mom didnt say a thing about it. Anyway....Most resent thing I have baked was cookies for my moms office. On St. Patricks Day. I think that is what I want to do when i get older. Cook and Bake things. ~kaili~

I cook when im sad too ! I think it helps vent out emotions..not sure why. and eating a huge batch of cookies / cakes always helps when feeling blue! haha.

I love to bake, exspeciall cookies. They are so delicious. I have a recipe for cupcake cookies, and they taste like cupcakes, but they have the shape of cookies.

The first time I saw the name of this thread I thought it was "Who loves banking?" which was realy odd to say the least, but upon closer inspection I saw that I was in fact an idiot.

I'm not much of a baker myself, I prefer to cook meat on a grill. Don't get me wrong, I love bread and all bakery goods, but I just don't like to bake. I think it's because there are just too many ingredients for something as simple as a loaf of bread.

I'll stick to meat.

My favorite thing to bake is bread. I got a recipe from my foods teacher. I make it all by hand and we eat almost the whole loaf as soon as it comes out of the oven. I also make cakes for my friends birthdays, but I use a mix then. Ü

I love baking!!! I want to be a baker after college! I make these peanut butter cupcakes.....so good. One of my favorite things is decorating. Recently I've discovered a slight obbsession with pancakes! I love them. I find cooking them especially fun! I'm not a very good cook so they always come out with holes in or something. All the same, interesting!

I LOVE BAKEING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In my school there are elective classes and I took one purely to cook and sew. My last day in that class is Monday and I don't want to go! There is a party and I might brimg brownies so I have an excuse to bake.

Today is my brother's birthday and (as always) I woke up early then I baked muffins just because I had an excuse to bake.

Oh baking is so fun!! I love to bake! I make cookies and muffins all the time. My favorite cookies to bake are peanut-butter and chocolate chip cookies. In my family I'm also famous for my French Silk Pie. I have to admit, it's pretty good. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Ooh I love to bake! I've got recipe books devoted totally to cupcakes, cheesecakes, trifles, pavlovas... Yum . I always bake for peoples' birthdays and for Christmas presents, I'm also making my own easter eggs this year. I also have a running creme brulee competition with my Uncle. I have to say I win them Actually, half this stuff doesn't even come under baking does it? Ah well. I love to cook. I don't actually get to do it that often because when I do cook/bake, I go all out with intricate decorations and a multitude of ingredients that often take a good chunk of the day to make. Yeah, an excess amount of homework and after-school jobs don't really give me that much time to do what I love

Haha, sorry guys, but im a horrible baker!!!! Yah... im really bad at it Give me a box and directions, and im good! (Oh yah, and the ingredients too ) Like one time, me and my friend tried to make cookies (keep in mind we were in like, 4th grade!!!) and we put a cup of baking soda into the mix instead of a teaspoon!!! My dog didnt even eat it!!!!!! Yah, that was a time wen we tried to do it ourselves without the directions Complete disaster, lol
