Could a Ron/Hermione relationship work out? Katie Boyd thinks so...

I've always loved the idea of Ron and Hermione getting together. It's obviouse that they like each other, why not take it a step further? :wink: What do you all think?

I've forgotten to post about this..but the hand holding thing in the third movie...that's DEFINATELY gotta count for something...I remember reading a j.k. rowling interview where she was with the screen writer or w/e and she was talking about how she would tell him a few things about what would come next to make sure it didn't get screwed up...so...I think there is a VERY good chance that the 3rd movie was meant to be a "hint" about what was still going to come...

Okay, me I'm totally Ron/ Hermy... I'll give you 5 good reasons.

You know the big fight that Hermy/Ron got in b/c Krum asked Hermy out? It's so obvious to see that Ron is jealous of Krum.

Hermy said to Ron during that fight, "Then ask me out before someone else does, and not as a last resort!"

I'm gonna take the hand-holding thing from Fuoco

For us careful readers, we see that Hermy kisses ron on the cheek in the 5th book.

For those of us girls who have experienced boyfriends and crushes know that Ron, at the end of the 2nd movie, was a little bit nervous hugging Hermione as a friend, as Harry did.

That enough evidence? I have more...

I think that in the fifth book there is already something going on, whether or not they are together or on the verge of getting together. I think they'd make a cute couple, and yes i agree with Fuoco and Cho~Cho there is ALOT of evidence saying that they like eachother more than friends, Ron more so than Hermione.

This is a pairing I'm rooting for. I just find Hermione and Harry too... strange.

Harry and Hermione are way too much like friends. All the tension, fights, and awkward gestures hint in the direction of Ron and Hermione.

I think a ron/hermione ship will happen...but...i also happen to believe that ron will die. soooo...somehow, harry and hermione will end up together. i agree that the clues point to somethin happenin w/ ron & hermione, but there are also clues pointing to the fact that ron will die. so something will probably happen during the 6th book w/ the 2 of them, but in the 7th book ron will sadly die :cry: , probably protecting harry&hermione, and somehow...i'm not sure how...harry and hermione will end up together.

I agree with True Believer. There is a tonne of evidence that says they are already together in book 5. And I do hope they get together, they match each other perfectly.

This one seems the most likely, doesn't it? I think Jo Rowling has given us enough clues...whether it'll last, who knows? I hope none of them die or anything! :shock:

Eh, yeah. Ron and Hermione go together. It's too obvious. In Goblet of Fire, they're constantly getting jealous of each other when Ron's obsession over Fleur and Hermione going to the Yule Ball with Krum. And the third movie points it out a lot with them, if you've seen it. Really, JK Rowling drops enough hints to make it a real thing.

Nice fanfic!!! i think your fanfic was great, because the Ron and Hermione relationship is one of my fave, I think it was nice all of them going to the carnival, and Fred and George playing, very good!
But about the Ginny/Harry, I have my doubts, but very nice story,a little short, but pretty nice.

Thanks. It was the first fan fic i wrote. I usually read a lot of fanfics, and I don't usually read the ones that are short, but when i was writing this one, i realised how hard it is to write them, and keep the story going.

Of coarse Ron and Hermione like eachother. It all starts in book 2, The Chamber of Secrets. Now I'm not a huge Hermione/Ron shipper, but its obvious. If you reread the series with the thought that they might have a thing for eachother, there are TONS of subtle hints. Ron always asks about Hermione, or mentions her when shes not there. When she is petrified, he freaks. Ron is always fighting with hermione and acts really strange around her. Think about it. In book 4 Ron absolutely loved Victor Krum, every time he saw him he nearly fainted, he would rant and rave about his quidditch skills, he had a victor ACTION FIGURE. As soon as Hermione goes with him to the Yule ball, Ron hates Victor, he goes on about what a scum bag he is and breaks the arm off of his action figure that he had spent A LOT of money on, and being a weasley that IS saying something. The bit in The new movie is just confirming what we all knew, Hermione and Ron are meant for eachother.

i agree with you peaceoflorien, Ron is so jealous of Victor, or shall i saw VICKY. I just can't understand the whole Ron/Harry thing. I mean i know he is what ron will miss most. Think abbout it, if you made no family, you would probably miss your best friend, too. I don't think J.K. Rowling will have anyone turn homosexual in her books, just because it is a kids book. I am not against homosexuals though, i think they are totally kool.

it is cool. but i dont think that it would be right for a childrens book. my parents would never let my lil siblings read the book

Yeah, I do think they're going to get together. On Mugglenet, there are the editorials. One of them says reasons throughout the HP series (the books so far) that point out why they could get together. Just thought ya might like to know!

Oh come on. Everyone believes Hermione and Ron are going to get together. Last time everyone thought the same thing, was Hagrid was going to die in the 5th book. *tear* (still SUCKS Sirius had to die) but anyway. dont expect it. But consider the possibility of it.

It will happen, it might not happen in the 6th book, but it will happen later on in the series. I never thought Hagrid was the one who was going to die.

well, we predict a lot of things that probably wont happen, its just peoples opinions on what should happen =P

Ron & Hermione...I wouldnt want it any other way. Kind of like Lily, James and Sirius thing going on---all friends....except well, I dont think Lily and Sirius were best friends....haha yeah. ANYWAYS.
