OK, heres the deal. This is a game where you imagine a table with lets say 6 people (including yourself) on it. You can have any five people t with you. Celebrities, friends, anyone. You might want to keep family out because they'll be expected anyway. So five people who you would want to have with you. They can already have died if you want.
Mine would be:
Ronnie Corbet
My best friend
Rob frost
Nelson Mandela
William Wilberforce

I could never choose between my friends and family the six I love most, so I'll just stick to celebrities. Makes it easier for me and more interesting for everyone else.

Which also means I won't choose Jesus for the purposes of this thread...
nor John Lennon. Ahem!
Ok, so seriously now:
Nelson Mandela
Agatha Christie
Jane Austen
Judas Iscariot (umm...)
Paul the Apostle
The Earl of O... er, I mean, William Shakespeare
I'm sure I could compile quite a few of these lists. This one took me ages and I still have this nagging feeling that I forgot a lot of people. Ah well. I might be back.

O saintly people, Paul the Apostle a celebrity...lol!!!
OK OK! This is too cool, just the six is it, in that case, I'll go with the celebrities (I don't think I like six people in my family lol)
Jane Austen (popular lady)
Oprah Winfrey
Sir Bob Geldoff (such a clever man, with a big fat gob)
phew! this is harder than I thought...
Daniel Craig (to look at)
Johnny Depp (to look at after I've finished looking at Daniel Craig)
Orlando Bloom for the same reason as above!!
Ok I'm really shallow!

Heh. Ok, perhaps 'famous mortal' is a better phrase.

I'm Protestant, so Paul would be just that... LOL! Though I suppose 'mortal' could be defined in many ways, what with the fact that we're choosing companions for the afterlife.
Elaine, your list cracks me up!

Starts off quite saintly and ends in Greek mythology fashion. Excellent balance, I say.

Oscar Wilde - Very witty, influential and talented.
Emma Watson -
Plato - Probably the greatest philosopher of all time.
JK Rowling - So much entertainment to be had.
Peter Kay - He's hilarious.

5.
Tim Burton - my favourite director ever. I love his films, and would just love to meet him!

Wow this is a hard list to make. I've been reading other people's lists for inspiration but it has only made it harder. I could make a list of just friends or just family and people would deffinately hate me for leaving them out so I've decided this list is just for people who inspire me.
1. Blessed Mary MacKillop - she'll be Australia's first saint
2. Pope John Paul 2 - for coming up with the idea of World Youth Day, look out Madrid here I come
3. Nelson Mandella - such a freedom fighter and advocate for human rights
4. Jane McGrath - Cricketer Glen McGrath's wife you died of cancer a few weeks ago
5. Angelina Jolie

only kiding,
My 5th is really Princess Diana - this was a hard one but I love her greatly and think she did wonders for charities all over the world.

Wow I should have put Freddie Mercury. I actually just saw an awesome light show in downtown Vegas and the ceiling shows a music video type thing and the first one I saw was Queen and they played we will rock you and then we are the champions.
The second one was American Pie and the video for this was better, maybe I am just mad because they didn't do Bohemian Rhapsody but it was totally cool

What a glorious thread
1. J.K. Rowling ~ Many questions to ask, clarifications to be made. Also try to convince her if she could write an alternate deathly hallows.
2. A devout fundamentalist christian who is willing to debate *Sighs*
3. Scott, the atheist from the youtube chanel "Theoretical********".
4. A vampire ~ For biting purposes
5. Stephanie Meyer ~ The same as number one.
This is all assuming that friends and family are already there, of course.
Peace all.
