Basically, have the good ol' moviemakers left something out, or added something, or changed something, or whatever that makes you darn angry?

I'll start: No Lupin in Advance Guard Scene! WHAT THE...!

uhh! that creepy thing with voldemort standing at kings cross with a black suit and a black tie!! he looks like hes from the matrix... and i heard that there isnt going to be quidditch in the movie!! thats one of the reasons why fred and george leave!! its really important in the fifth book! but maybe its just a rumor...

Nope its no rumor there will be no quidditch *tears up* And that means no Weasley is My kingg either. Also i don't think that they show nevilles parents

'Tis nice to know there are some people who are as grumpy as I am. Don't get me wrong, I am definately looking forward to OotP, I think it'll be very good but...there are somethings that Yates didn't have to do...

I agree about that thing with Voldie at the station in a suit? Overlooking everything else that's wrong about that, since when did Voldie wear Muggle garb?! Doesn't that go against everything he's been fighting for?!

I am still very very MAD about no Lupin in the advance guard scene...he IS that scene, basically...and the advance guard is really just a glorified name for Lupin, Moody, Tonks and Randoms!

There's no cleaning at grim place? Aw...that sounded so amusing in the book. The image of Ron trying to pry a piece of moud off his finger!

I hate it when I hear rumors and facts that show they changed some stuff. they put in stuff that didn't happen and erase of change things that did! So annoying.

I'm also so upset that they didn't include some crucial scenes. Ugh...

Really?! I'm very surprised to hear that!
I considered that to be a really poignant and important moment. The whole thing about Neville's parents really changed his character for me

EDIT: Oh I have just viewed the newest trailer for the first time, I am thrilled and breathless!!! I'll need to watch it a few more times to discuss.

I'm love the movies, but sometimes i feel like they take out the best scenes!! Such as...

1). Quidditch! I mean common! With all our new technology this would have made for some awesome scenes, but no. They cut it One of my favorite scenes/ moments in Ootp is when Fred, George, and Harry kick Malfoys butt! They can't kick his butt if theres no Quidditch!!

2). Why the heck is Voldy at Kings Cross?! In a suite?! Where does this come in at all!? If the movie people are going to throw a scene that never happened in the books into the movie, than atleast do it right! A suite? I mean really! Atleast make him look like a flippin wizard!

3). One of Lupins major parts is thrown out! I love Lupin! Where is he?!

4). Sirius...argh! Why isn't he wearing a shirt under his robes? And why isn't he a dog. In the movie he isn't cleared yet! People would notice an accused murderer!

5). NO cleaning Grimmauld Place. This is adds a touch of light heartenss to the book! And this would be a perfect place to show the locket that is bound to come up in the 7th movie! gahh!

Sometimes I think that if they added the missed scenes then it would make the next movies less confusing, you know? I like the movies, I do. I wish they would add these scenes though. I wouldn't care if the movie was an extra hour long! Heck, I'd probably like the movie better if it was longer!

Glad to know I am not the only one upset there seems to only be about 0.5 milliseconds of him in the entire thing! And, after seeing those new Spots, I would like to know why Lupin seems to be appearing in a whoosh of blue flames. But that's a bit off topic, eh?

You think they would be able to fit in the cleaning somehow. if it was in the background, for example. It would be an interesting scene, per se, if sirius and harry were talking and in the background fred and george are spraying doxys and sneaking them into their pockets.

I dont like how both voldy and sirius show up at kings cross (huh that never happened in teh book) and i dont like how they dont have quidditch i mean that is like one of the best parts of teh books . I bet the movie will be great tho at least i hope it will be:)

I love Voldy in a sharp suit at the train station BTW. Hott! Harry’s probably just imagining this.

What fumes me up is seeing Helen Bo-Carter’s take on Bellatrix. Over a decade in Azkaban living her worst memories and she’s gonna be ‘sexy’? How very Hollywood of you dear. Even though Sirius looked like hell in PoA it was believable. I’m cringing at every released clip of her scene chew antics. It’s too kiddie movie.

That scene in King's Cross with Voldemort in a suit is kind of weird, I mean, Lord Voldemort "The Dark Lord" in a suit?. I think it would be better a scene with Ralph Fiennes in a suit, and Harry looking at him and thinking "Damn! that man looks like Voldemort" and then a quick scene of Voldemort's face.
And the Dementos are kind of weird too, they are no like the Dementors from Prisoner of Azkaban, pity, I liked the PoA Dementors

how in bloody hell do you have OofP without quidditch it's impossible. and voldy does look like he was in the matrix with that suite on. i don't remember that from the book i have a feeling 'm going to hate the movie because they're going to kill the book but like it just the same cuse it will be good even though they roaly scruwed it up.

One thing that made me mad? No Quidditch! How can they remove Quidditch from this movie? I was so looking forward to seeing my fave Slytherin get jumped by Harry and Fred. Oh this just upsets me. Now we will never get to see Ron's tryouts for the team.

heya i can't believe that they had no quidditch and hardly any remus!!! but most annoying is voldy at the train station !!!! were did that idea come from? they have the two most wanted wizards in the world standing at possibley the most buisey train station! but then again, the movie makeing people would have done there very best, and after allthose rumours that emma watson was leaving the crew, we should probabley be grateful that there is a fith movie at all! Well,the scene with Voldemort is a vision!

Harry has a vision of Voldemort but there's no Voldemort in the train station.
It just makes sense that Voldemort approaches and that he is next to Harry.

I wasn't bothered when I heard about Quidditch.It was unimportant.
I am relieved because even though Saint Mungo's is out, the plotline with Neville's parents and the attack of Nagini are in the film!Hooray!

I'm a bit bothered about Cho being the snitch and about the small screentime of Lupin,Bellatrix and Hagrid.

Saw the movie...

Quite good, I might say, THOUGH LUPIN HAS ONE--ONE!--LINE! And Tonks has hardly anything!

Golly, they'd better give those two--not to mention everyone ELSE that was ignored--a bigger part in HBP movie. I really love the HP movies, but when they do things that just...arrgh!

I STILL don't know why they cut Lupin from the Advance Guard! I was thinking, maybe there'd be a good reason why, but there isn't! None at all! And then, when I first saw him in the movie arguing with the others, I went 'Ha ha it's HIM!', and then Mrs Weasley closed the door on him! It killed me!

(Yes, maybe you have guessed I have a certain preference for Lupin...but really, he was ignored quite a lot).

Sorry for the rant, it really wasn't that bad...quite good...but...come one, it was 20 something minutes shorter than CoS! The stuff they could have put in in that time!

And there was hardly any Bellatrix! Or Lucius! I know they weren't all that prominent in the book, but...!!!

Sigh. Oh well, there's always movie six!

PS; Personally, the vision of Voldie at the station was really good. It shows that he gotten so deeply into HP's head that he's, well, seeing him!

I found it kinda annoying that tonks had such a small part..but really she didnt have much of a role..in later movies im sure we will see ALOT more of tonks..as for lupin...i agree there was no reason to hold him out of the advance guard. Maybe he wasnt ready on set or something lol

Well i saw the movie... but i havent read the book in about a year... I loved the movie but then with the seventh book approaching so soon i recently read the 6th book again. this made me reailze that they left a lot of big parts:

1. Horcrux in Sirius' house [Locket] not shown

2. This is 4th and 5th movie... They never told about prize money for winning Triwizard tourney.... which harry gives to fred + george to start their joke shop... missed in the 5th movie entirely... and its a decent part of the 6th book.

3. Brieeeeff start. 5 mins in hes at the order...

4. Sirius' death OUT OF NOWHERE! He battles Malfoy and AVADA KEDAVRA... wth is that... wayyyy to sudden.

and 5. Harry is not shown to even try to contact the order before leaving to save sirius. Kreature didnt have to disobey.

I was very disappointed by how they left all the little important details out that mean a lot but only leave in things they "think" matters the most.
The part where Voldemort was at the train station was Harry's imagination, but it'd be better if they would take the time to reveal things that actually mattered!
Leaving out Quidditch made me angry because now, how will they continue it on for the 7th book??
they won't show Ron trying out.
They left out that Ron and Hermione were made prefects, which messed it all up.
The fact that Tonks had very little to say was dumb, you don't learn anything about her except she doesn't like being called Nymphadora, she's in the Order and that she can change her hair color.
But they didn't reveal that she's an auror or anything.
That made me really mad.

So basically I didn't like it because they left too many little things out.
They should've had the cleaning of Grimmauld Place!

I thought it was unbelievable that they left out the cleaning of Grimmauld Place!
It's such a crucial part, with the locket and all!


They didn't add that Ron and Hermione were made prefects!


The whole movie was like, an 2 hours and 20 min. long. They could have put so
much more then they did.


They left out the Quibbler magazine and the interview with Rita Skeeter.


They left out Harry's date with Cho in Hogsmeade. (Although, I'm not a
big fan of Cho's, I'm just pointing that out )


They left out Marietta Edgecombe

The best scene was the Grawp scene and how Ron got jealous of the giant because
he gave Hermione the bike handlebars

I was very disappointed in the writer of the script. In the Occlumency scene, when Harry's like: "So he'll be able to read my mind?" , Snape was supposed to tell him that minds are not like a book, to be opened and examined at will. Instead, they had Mr Rickman say "Read it. Control it. Unhinge it."
Why? It wouldn't have helped shorten the movie, it wouldn't be easier to say, it wouldn't have cost more, so why? .

Where do it Start. Firstly, they cut almost half the plot out. Quidditch, Dobby who rules! Everything! They always wear muggle clothes, order of the phoenix was atrocious, daniel radcliffe, no offense, is not a very good actor, in my opinion, but he has a nice personality. Thye delay the movies. Ginny's character is reduced to a minor minor minor role, Bonnie hasn't been handled well by the directors, because she's really good actress. Then suddenly, I predict in hbp movie, out of nowwhere harry starts falling for ginny. There suddenly friends from nowhere. Odd.
Also, the special effects aren't very good. ie. grawp, centaurs needed more time spent on them, although i loved there look! They change everything, umbridge wasn't fat, whereas moody was wasn't supposed to be. The voldy verses dumbledore was too short, the endings of the films are bad. Cornelius fudge, id don't like the actor, the costumes of terrible only in the the first 3 films I liked them.
I'm glad I got that off my chest. Thanks for listening.

Also tonks, and hagrid my favourite characters don't get big roles which tney should. And also bella! She rocks!

A list in order of Makes Me Angriest to Makes Me angry:

1. Harry and Cho kiss
2. Not enough Umbridge Baiting
3. No Peeves
4. No St Mungo's
5. Sirius dying is all wrong

The best bits wree probably the D.A and the Possession scene though. I do really love the film, not to mention the wonderful soundtrack.

just me, i like to point out goods and bads.

the worst thing EVER was how they made cho the bad gal!! and there was no gruesome popping zits!! jeesh haha.

BUT THE FUNNIEST is after serius dies and harry goes onto the floor with the voldie vision. THATS HILARIOUS when he falls it looks like he is about to pee himself!! haha. when i told my friend we had to try not to laugh, as we were in maths and everything was quiet haha. good times

Oh gosh. So many problems with this movie...

I think my biggest problem was the lack of emotion. It seemed like everything Dan did was flat. In the very beginning when Harry and Dudley arrived at the house after being attacked by the dementors, I expected Harry to be much more angry than he is and even Vernon's performance seemed flat to me. Also, the scene at the end where Harry is in DD's office; in the book, Harry was yelling and throwing things everywhere, but in the movie all he did was sit there. I was very disappointed...

The fact that Peeves is absent, and Tonks and Lupin had like ONE line also angered me. I love Tonks, and she was there for like 5 seconds.

And I'm wondering how they're gonna bring the locket into the story if they never showed the cleaning of Grimmauld Place.

The beginning seemed very slow. It was kind of painful to sit through the beginning to get to the rest of the movie...


OVERALL, I thought the movie was pretty good. I saw it in IMAX 3-D which was amazing! I'm hoping the 6th movie will be better than the 5th!
