I think i would personally go for the Puddlemere united ( if thats what its called) because Oliver Wood went to that team, and he was brilliant when he played for gryffindor, so im sure he's really good now.
Other from that, I quite like the irish team. Just because, wasnt it like them that won the world cup? Dont hate me if im wrong. Well if they didnt, they still got down to the final which proves they are obviously a good team.

Mine has to be the Falmouth Falcons, mainly because they are a violent team, and I play my sports agressive.
Either that or the Wigtown Wanderers, because thats absolutely psychotic.

Are we allowed to like the House teams??
Even though I am a Ravenclaw at heart I would have to say Gryffindor... Harry <33....
I think that if I really went to Hogwarts I would kind of like I am now with football... I know all the school teams but I don't keep up with the big pro teams... or the collage teams either really...

I would porberly support the Chudley Cannons just for the fun of it.

There names suggers power but from what i hear on the Harry Potter playstation games they don't do to well in the leauge. As they are betted to become bottom of it. But hey ever team needs some support. Not that i'd know. I hate football but i prefer quiditch shmae it's not real.

Heya
I would say to combine the Bulgarian and Irish teams the are the only teams that kept me focused during a game and of course the Gryffindor team of Wood, Spinnet, Johnson, Bell, Weasley Fred and George, Potter

I like Puddlemore United because Wood is with them even though I dont know much about them. But Oliver is really awesome and is a really good keeper and if he isnt already starting for them he will be in the near future or i hope he will. I dont know names of many others besides like the cannons, irish, bulgaria, angland, tornados, translyvania, and peru. which i only heard mentioned at the Weasley Dinner table if there was a team from the states id support them because i live in the states.

i reckon i'd start my own Quidditch team and steal the name of the local fitba team! hehe come on the Craigmark Burntonians!!
haha i think id go with Puddlemere (sp?) united. Wood was a very talented keeper!

I agree with everyone, Wood is an awesome quidditch player!! I would have to go with... Bulgaria.... the capital is my name.... lol, that's not a good reason to like a team... but it is a reason.... bad as it is. I love the Gryffindor Quidditch team. (doesn't everyone???)
The Gryffindors win all of the Quiddtich matches (just about...) and they have never (until book 6, sorry if that's wrong) won the Quidditch Cup.... Impresive!!!! lol... jk... Yeah, that's my favorite teams, since I can barely keep up if my school team won or not... I doubt I'd follow pro games of anything.

I would say my favorite Quidditch Team is the Gryffindor House team, I mean they've one about every match thrown at them (they've lost like 2 times, if I'm wrong correct me) but I've support the Gryffindor House all the way, I don't turn around and change my teams cause the lost, but Gyffindor is the my favorite team, and the best in my opinion

My fave would be the Irish team, but i forgot their team name. Anyway i would luvv them 'cuz they've got wicked awesome chasers. Also i am 75% irish. My second favorite team would be the Chudley Cannons, just because i like their name. Also Ron's a big supporter of them

Ok ok I would hafta say my fave Quidditch team is the one and only Slytherin team. I know they are not the best team at Hogwarts but they play like I would, they cheat and they are mean and nasty. So yeah I'll go for Slytherin...And my fave man is the Captain of the team lol

i also like the Chudley Cannons because they've got cool slogans. It used to be "we shall conquer" but now it's "Let's all just keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best"

Well I would support the England Quidditch team because I believe in supporting the country that I live in which is England

If I had to support a Hogwarts team it would be Gryffindor because I have been sorted into Gryffindor

my favorite is the holy head harpies because it shows that what guys can do us girls can do too hehe...
and if i was to chose a hogwarts quidditch team i'd chose gryffindor because i absolutely love them

If it was professional, I'd probably pick the Harpies. They're some of the best players, and they're all girls. Go Harpies!
mjane95
Jul 27 2007, 06:27 AM
Well possibly the Harpies because of the players (the girls). Definitly the Ireland team because I have Irish blood in me and if I had to go for a Hogwarts team, probably Gryffindor (Harry *heartthrob*) or Hufflepuff ( my mighty house!).

the holyhead harpies!
because its an all womans team!
and it shows that woman/girls are just as good at quidditch as boys and they deserve to be chosen for house teams!

Puddlemere United! Because Oliver Wood plays for them and he is amazing
Or Bulgaria because Viktor Krum is the best seeker (other than Harry) in the world!
For Hogwarts I'd have to go with my house team. GO GO GRYFFINDOR!!

I am also an Harpies Fan!
They are just sooo cool. I like the feminist attitude of them.
It`s a pity that there is no Austrian Quidditch Team for me to support.
So, I would say next to the Harpies the Heidelberg Harriers.

I would pick the holyhead harpies because they are all girls and the only team as such. I also wonder why there is not a girls league. And I wonder how many times have the girls beat the guys.

The Holy Head Harpies. I'm sorry, but I'm hopelessly biast and they're all girls! And they just seem cool. I like how one of them rams another captian when he proposed to her.

Montrose Magpies, for two simple reasons.
1) That is probably the closest Quidditch Team to where I live, unless JKR decides to create a team in Newcastle

2) Newcastle United FC are nicknamed The Magpies. Since Newcastle don't have a quidditch team, the next best thing is to support the team with part of the same name!!!

Chudley Cannons, just like Ron. I would support them because I was born two miles away from Chudley, and I also like the idea of a bright orange scarf and merchandise!

I'd say...Bulgaria. Krum love, you see

. And you've got to admit: the Wronski (is that the way you spell it?) Feit was A.W.E.S.O.M.E.

I like... The Holyhead Harpies! They're the Welsh team... And my great grandfather was from Wales! Yay! Plus, Ginny Weasley joined the team after Hogwarts, so that makes me love them even more! Wait. In Quidditch Through the Ages, doesn't JK write that it's the only all female team in the league?

The Irish team of course! Of the teams featured in the book that is. Otherwise it would be both the German and Scottish international teams since I'm half of each. That's what I do when it comes to football.

Well, seeing as I'm Irish I have to say the Irish team. Of course, if you've read Quidditch through the Ages by 'Kennilworthy Whisp' (I think) then you know what I mean when I say the Appleby Arrows would have been my favourite British Team.

I think my team would be the Holyhead Harpies because of Ginny playing for them. I would also support the Sweetwater All-stars. I just re-read Quidditch Through the Ages so I could remember some of the teams.

As an Australian, I can only be a fan of the Wollongong Warriors. Wollongong is pretty close to where I live, anyway.

My favourite Quidditch team is probably the Chudley Cannons, because eventhough they're pretty bad, Ron supports them, and an orange kit would look cool I suppose. If it was international Quidditch, then I'd support the England team if there is one.

I don't really care about the professional quidditch teams... I can name very few to start with the Irish, Bulgarian, Cannons, Tornadoes, and Harpies yup that about sums it up... my favorite quidditch team is the Gryffindor team in Harry's third year that took the cup!
