If you had that choice, would like to live in your current world, with your current friends, and everything you know, or would you like to live in a different world, with new people, mysteries and, of course, magic?
It may not be as simple as it seems!
We're all Potter fans so we all know what JK Rowlings magical world entails, and I'm sure you know what you're own personal world contains (I hope lol) so which would it be?

that's a tricky question
well according to my personality which hate changes , I'd choose my current life
but If I found out I'm a witch I think I'd love to know how it is like out of curiosity
actually I don't know the answer, the magical world seems interesting ,but I'm used to natural life, that would take while until I could decide and I think I might make everybody give their opinions

I think I would probably chose the magical world. It just seems so much more interesting that this world. If I found out I was a witch, I would love it, I would love the challenge of learning all of the new things.
If the only magical world was J.K.Rowlings, I would love to be friends with Luna, and Ginny. And I would definately be on the quidditch team.

I think i'd rather be in the real world cause I have so many good friends and family. It would feel weird with new friends and people you know.

Heya all
For me the magical world it sounds alot more fun than the natural at the moment. But on the other hand I would never leave my current girlfriend or friends.
And I found out that I am a wizard I would try and have a shot at being Hermione's Guy She is just so darn pretty

(Let's hope my girl doesn't read this)

For me I would pick the magical world because I feel that I don’t fit in here, we my family save for two members. I would get my sister and my cousin and leave for the magical world but saying that I would probably visit my family in the holidays but I know that I would be happier in the magical world.

Hmmm ... toughy.
Magical World: This would be cool because ... it's magical!! And I like to meet knew people and try new things. But I'm not all that great with change. But it would definately be an awsome experience.
Natural World: I'm relatively in my comfort zone here what with theatre, my friends and my boyfriend. I am used to here and I love it here.
I'm not sure which I would chose ... if I would have to leave my theatre and boyfriend behind in order to go the magical world, then I wouldn't go. But if there was theatre there and if I could bring my boyfriend with me, I'd gladly go.

I enjoy reading and getting lost in so many stories that take place in magical worlds. I love reading about the characters, problems, magic, and everything... however, as much as I feel inclined to say I'd want to live in one of those worlds, I can't seem to make up my mind.
I can't imagine me making it through some of the cruelty that takes place in the magical worlds, and therefor, I really don't think I could. However most of the ideas are based off of the cruelty in reality, so there's not much of a difference in the long run.
That's a really tough question that I will have to ponder further before giving a precise answer.

I would love to live in the magical world, I mean come on, its magic (actually besides that, its no different than the natural world), but only if I didnt have to leave my family and friends behind...theyre very important to me, and if living in the magical world meant living without them, then I wouldnt go

Tricky question.
But I think I would choise to live in a magical world similer to the Harry Potter world, with magical schools and stuff.
The mysteries(sp) and magic and everything would be awesome.
Though I dont know if I could leave my friends, so it would deffinatly be a hard choise.

I would live in the magical world, my friends barely talk to me (and trust me, I make an effort to talk to them, but they never answer back). So I think that the magical world would suit me. Since I always lose stuff (and my mom) I would be able to summon it back (so I don't have to hear my mom rant on and on and on...)

It would be awesome to do other stuff also, but that is at the top.

Well, there'd definetely be some things that I'd miss, my computer, my CD player etc. But I think that actually being able to for example go to Hogwarts, apparate, see all the magical creatures and things, just to be able to
do magic would compensate for it a million times over!! No question, I'd definetely go for the magical world. Omg, I'd get to meet Draco Malfoy!

Is there any contest?
Of course I would pick the magical world!! Why wouldnt I?! As long as I could still visit my family friends (err.. maybe I would sacrifice them for such a chance

) I would definitely take the magical world!
You would live longer, be able to travel more, be able to do so many things that our world constrains! Imagine have a saturday off from the Ministry or wherever you worked and being able to apparate to another country to have dinner or to shop!
Definitely the Magical World!

well for me there is no contest either i would deffinatly chose the magical world. i am really close with my family and i would miss them when i was away at school but there is always the holidays!!! as for my friends.. i have been out of school for two and a half years now so my friends from high school have been moving or going to college or are just different people now (i love my friends to death but they need to grow up a bit) so i am kind of in a transition fase anyway so i would deffinatly take the chance to be able to use magic it would open up so many possibilities and its not like you wont be able to aparate to your friend (once you are old enough of course) or be able to see them on holiday they could still be your friends. so for me ON TO HOGWARTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's not too difficult: magical world, no alternative. I guess I'd be able to see my family often enough. I think they would understand how lucky it would make me to get to Hogwarts. Goodbye university!

magic. i prefer it waaay better than the real world, because in like HP theres NO wars. everyones peaceful and happy. even though they practically make blood slurs, they still dont start a war. and if you break something, then you can "reparo" it. so yea. magic world.

Umm... Mrs.FredWeasley? It's not really peaceful and happy all the time.. considering Voldemort tries to take over and starts a war...
That being said... I would definately choose the magical world! I mean.. if I could take my friends and family with me... But it would be soooo amazing! No contest!

I would think it through, the magical world! I mean you can do soo much more! You could see your family on holidays, and in the summer. As for my friends sure I would miss them, but I'm used to leaving my friends behind because I move around a lot.I could still talk to them and the more friends you have the better!

I only scanned what some other people said and it seems to me that the answer is fairly simple. The magical world is mrged with the non-magical world, so if you think you would lose your friends you are mistaken. I mean your parents could be magical and you not, and you would still be living in the magical world and not magical. So of course I world choose the magical world.

Most likely magical, but only if I could still listen to my music and play my guitars and talk to my muggle friends I guess

Oh, magic all the way. As long as my muggle friends are magical too. I'd love to live in the Harry Potter world. Gosh, I think of that like everyday. I love the magic world and everything to do with magic, except the dark side of course.

It would be in a magical world, with different kind of people, of subjects, of duties, of animals ... It'd be awesome: I think magic it's not a solution to all the life problems, but it helps pretty well in everyday's life ... and of course if I'd live there my friends would be wizards and witches, but I'd like to have muggles friends as well.

I agree with Dess, in the magical world, you would be able to do so much more. Anything would be possible, it would be one adventure after the next. I would miss my friends , but I have moved away before, so it wouldn't be the end of the world if I couldn't see them for awhile. I think I would miss my family more, but I would have so much to share when I came for the holidays that it would be cool. Ya, I would definitely choose the magical world.

i would love to live in a magical world. i mean, i love my friends and stuff here, but i think i could do with some adventure in my life. and even if i were to go to the magical world, like Lily_Potter said, you could always come back for holidays and stuff.

I would choose the wizarding world, of course! It would be amazing. Plus, they don't seem to get as bored as I do with my life because they have magic, and that spices everything up. I swear JKR knows about the wizarding world and just isn't telling us, hah. Just kidding...
But I could still come back for the holidays and what not. I think it would be great, and I wish I could try it out for like, one day. Or more..

I would definitely prefer the wizarding world. It would be way more interesting and I'm sure the classes would be to. I imagine I would be kind of like a male Hermione at school. I would love to play quiditch even though I probably wouldn't be very good.

Personally, I reckon natural, to all the people saying the magical world seems more interesting, I honestly disagree, we haven't even explored a percentage of our natural world, the seas, the skies, the universe in general, I think the natural world is extremely fascinating.
And I don't think being able to fix anything in a second is really a good thing, mistakes, hardship, sadness, they're all character building, without them, we'd all be either sterile and boring, or extremely bad people.

I'd want to live in the magical, just for the sheer experience. Plus, I really like the idea of 'Reparo!' *fix* and stuff. I'd miss my friends, but I'm leaving anyway. If I had the choice, I'd much rather live in the magical then natural, because the magicals live in the natural. If you get what I mean at all. (:

i'd probably want to live in the magical, just because it'll be awesome to do spells and magically solve problems, and plus if you want to live in the natural it's still possible
