Considering the ridiculous situation of the seventh book not being released on the 7/7/07, who thinks something very special is going to happen on the web site instead?

I cannot imagine marketing people not taking advantage of the date in some way, surely they are not that silly, but I haven't yet see anything announced anywhere (please point me to it if you have).

So it seems likely that at the very least, the door will open on http://www.jkrowling.com/.

Hmm......that is a thought. It could happen. I think that JK didn't want to release the book on 7/7/07 because of the anniversary of the London bombings. I'm actually surprised that the book is coming out 1 week after the movie. If JK wants to incorporate that specific date into all of this hype, I could see her opening the door on that day. It would be kind of sad no to seeing how it goes so well with the book being #7 and Harry's 7th year.

i dont knwo if she will open it or not i mean what is there left to be asecret and she hasent done easter eggs in a long time .. unless she is gonna tell us that is she is gonna write another book(doubt it but would be nice) i dont kwno what she would be hind the door

yehh..dat would be nice for her to announce that she will write another book, but that's not verypossible..but maybe she was just keeping it a surprise?i know she's making a dictionary thing, but something else other than that..who knows?

Didn't she have the door open at least once before to give us a few chapter titles to HBP before it came out? Maybe she will do that again. That would surely get us theorists busy theorizing again! I hope she at least does that. Boy, I can't wait for the 21st!!!

I was thinking the same thing LittleRed771, about the chapter titles. I don't see why she wouldn't open the door and give a little something. Even one of the chapter pictures! Something! Anything!
