My Favourite Harry Potter TV Spot

Take a look at this, unless you already have. When i went on a particular website the other day it provided me with six different tv spots for the new Harry Potter film. I really like this one because it has a brillaint orchastral piece throughout.
I hope this is in the soundtrack of the movie because it is the best tune i have ever heard, if so then i am so definitely downloading it off of the itunes website when it hits the stores!

i really like all of them too. the fourth or fifth one that had Malfoy asking harry what his connection to voldemort was the coolest though. it was definitely the most dramatic one. i still dont get that one part when voldemort turned some spherical object into a huge fiery snake though, but it looks amazing.

I would seriously like to know why Lupin seems to be materialising in a whoosh of blue flames in Spot 4.

Liking the DoM scenes! Oh, and Snape is soo funny...'obviously...'

Really annoying, though, there isn't a lot of new things. Most of what I saw, I have already seen.

But I 'spose that's to be expected, eh?

I have a feeling that they are being very careful about what and how much they show of the film. And so, there might actually be loads of stuff we havn't ssen yet which will make the movie even better. I saw the same thing happen with Spiderman 3: i saw all the clips and trailers and got this first idea of what i thought the atmosphere and tone would be like, but when i saw the fil i was stil surprised by what happened because some of the things i had never even heard was gonna happen - for instance the bit where Peter Parker starts dancing in the street; i would never have seen that coming.

I think that most of the clips we're still seeing, over and over again, are good enough as long as this sort of limit is whats gonna keep the movie experience as surprising and as uplifting as ever expected. This is exactly what i enjoy most about films and it is what, i feel, makes them good movies.

And YES, i would also like to know what the whole Lupin materialising in the air is all about. I mean the only reason for it is them appearing dramatically (and fluently) at the Department of Mysteries scene. To be honest when i see that Lupin materialising bit it reminds me alot about the fourth movie when harry's parents/cedric/Frank Bryce appear spiritually from Voldemort's wand. On the other hand, i have to admit i cant wait to see that bit where Lupin materializes like that.

ya about that Lupin materializing out of thin air.............. didn't they have a word for that?.........um...........I think 'apparating' doy....

It's the same as the scene in the 4th movie when the death eaters apparated to Lord Voldermort's side in the graveyard. They did it in a sort of falling woosh of dark smoke and it's the same principle in the tv spot too except it's a falling woosh of white smoke. It's strange though that if he just apparated in that scene why did they make Fred and George apparate in the blink of an eye next to their mother?

That was pretty sweet. I must say i liked them all but i did like when Malfoy was talking to Harry just like sockr24 said. Some of them seemed almost the same with just a few changed scenes, but obviously they dont want to reveal that much. Im glad you found these becuase they definetely have a few scenes that i havent seen, so thanks.

There's no other reason.
And the brakes seem the same with these in the Veil Room.

People havn't sent a post in ages so i'm just going to change the whole subject of the conversation. So what are everyone's thoughts about the tv spots? Say what you think - thats what makes a forum.

It's fine if you guys want to talk about the T.V. Spots (though I have no idea what a T.V. Spot even is! I'm going to have to check it out!), that would be fine. This is just a reminder to keep on the T.V. Spots discussion and not get sidetracked with subjects like Lupin's fate and the like. If you want to talk about Lupin, there are plenty of other threads on VTM devoted solely to him, so it would be greatly appreciated if you would keep the chats on-topic! Thanks!

Have you had a go at watching the TV Spots i've put up at the top felix_felicis_444? A Tv spot, by the way, is like a small trailer only for the tv (like a quick ad or something). It is likely to go on for about 30 seconds. The ones i've seen are really good, especially the one at the top, which i've named my favourite, because it has a really good theme tune in the background. I think it makes a really good adrenaline rush.

The 5th TV Spot is absolutley amazing! Just like with the whole tense atmosphere, with Lucius telling Harry about how the prophecy holds the 'secrets to his scar'. I can't wait to see that scene now! Plus the music track behind it is lush and really creates a dramatic feel...ahh I'm so excited now I can't wait for the film!!

I really like the 5th tv spot. The scenes are go great with the music thats playing. Its by far the best looking one.
