I think that my favorite spell is Protego it can keep you and others from harm!! I have a love of keeping others safe. anyway i like that spell!

Hmm I would have to say that my favorite spells are Expecto Patronum, Expelliarmus, and Protego. They sound awesome and are very useful! They would definitely come in handy for any wizard.

I liek Expecto Patronum.Its for three reasons:
1. It protects you from dementors
2. The form of the patronus is an animal
3. I love the look of the white glow.
I aslo like protego because it acts like a shield towards your opponent, and reducto because it can almost like explode things.

I like Aguamenti just because it's a cool word! I think it sounds good and I love how JKR actually names her spells after actual words - mainly latin though, which I can't understand.

I love Levicorpus - come, on, we've all got to love that! And Muffliato - the Prince's spells

Three tie for me:

1. Expecto Patronum, because, let's face it, it's awesome.

2. Silencio, because it would help this world sooo much if many people had to involintarily shut up.

3. Muffilitio, because I have a little sister. Enough said.

Well..here is a few I like

Alohamora~~~Self explanitory

Conjunctivitis Curse~~~Mainly because I suffer from this condition in both eyes. I get it about once a year..it's pretty nasty! Would be great to share this with an enemy! (evil laugh)

Expecto Patronum~~~for obvious reasons...who likes dementors?

Locomotor Mortis~~~This spell was used quite a bit actually...leg locking curse

Muffliato~~~Who likes an eavesdropper? Anyone??

Obliviate~~~Erasing memories like in DH..that was great. Can be useful against enemies

Petrificus Totalus~~~Comes in handy if you need to get away from someone...like the trio did in SS

Portus~~~Porkeys come in real handy...

Protego~~~Everyone needs to block and protect themselves

Sectumsempra~~~okay...I know this one is a bit evil but you need something to attack with right? It is a prince spell after all!

Taboo~~~this is just brilliant! And could be a little funny, depending on what word you jinx

Okay okay..so it's more than a few..oh well

Imperio because being able to control people can get you very far, even though it's bad. And also it's illegal, so it's be alot more tempting.

i really like accio . especially for a lazy person such as myself . stupefy is a quick handy spell you one can use. i love expecto patronum ! i have always wondered what my patronus would be handy spells to me are also like wengardium leviosa haha levitate that towards me or when im asked to lift something i just do that . no more hard work & for sure i'd like to taboo words . & if you taboo the right funny word one can only see how the whole world will look

Mine would have to be Levicorpus because it would be the perfect spell to use on someone you don't like. I also like the Imperius Curse because it would be cool to control people, and Accio since I'm so lazy. And a Taboo would be cool too.

erm Evanesco, to make things i dont want go! it seems good for the environment too, if it really does go nowhere!

I am particularly fond of the following spells:

Obliviate~ Quite a useful spell to be able to cast when you need to escape trouble quick, or something you wanted kept quiet gets out !
Apparition/Disapparition~ I know we don't really say these but it would be awesome to apparate and disapparate ! A rather efficient time saver.
Point Me!~ I have a bad sense of direction...
Legilimens/Occlumency~ We paranoid/suspicious folk find these very handy.

Really, these aren't the only ones ~ practically all spells/charms/jinxes/hexes/etc are useful at some point. I would love to know as many as I could, if I were really a witch.

Well, really, I like almost all the spells except for most of the curses (and particularly the Unforgivable Curses! ), but I'd have to say that these are my favorites:

Alohomora~It would be quite handy sometimes to unlock doors. And besides, then you wouldn't have to break a window in your house when you've forgotten your key.

Apparate/Disapparate~It would be awesome to get from one place to another like that. Even if it does make that loud "I"m right here!" noise.

Expecto Patronum~I would get to think of a happy thought. I LIKE happy thoughts! And I like the whole idea, really, of being able to fight off despair with hope.

Impervius~I have glasses. 'Nuff said.

Lumos~I don't like being in the dark all that much.

In order..

1.The Patronus Charm- a nice symbol of happiness. It requires concentration and i really like things which require mind power. It signifies hope, a positive energy..

2.Alohomora- It was one of the first spells in the series..so i kinda love it..its reallly helpful though, isnt it.

3.Levicorpus- good for fun!

4.Muffiliato- no really..i hate it when people eavesdrop and try to listen to others' conversations. So pretty useful..

5.Accio- this is generally needed when I'm watching TV..the remote control is just there on the table in front..but damn! I don't wanna move..

6.Expelliarmus- well..just for what it does..especially when my friends try to hit me with books!

Thats about all i'm able to think of presently..

Leviacorpus Very useful when you wana get a quick escape
And my fav Stupefy Stun him , robe him xD and run

But I do like Expecto Patronum. They protect you from Dementors and they take different forms of animals. I love how you can see the spell.
But of course there are many cools ones..(not the unforgivable curses though!)

I think that Accio is too dangerous for me. It will only make me lazy. lol. I think of all the spells I would like to learn, the best would have to be "Oppugno"!!

If you can't remember it, its from HP and The Half-Blood Prince. At the end of Chapter 14 "Felix Felicis". Its the spell that Hermione uses to send a volley of twittering little yellow birds at Ronald with a vengence!! lol I think that it would be fantastically fun to know that spell. :-D

Wow, I like many many many spells like Expecto Patronum, Alohomora, Accio, Levicorupus, Wingardium Leviosa, Legilimens etc. If I could cast these spells and actually worked, my laziness would increase considerably .

I mainly love any everyday useful spells, but especially, Accio. Then it's Scourgify, and the other one ... don't remember the name in English; in Spanish it's Fregotego. Alohomora and Wingardium Leviosa are very useful as well. The Patronus Charm is amazing, not only because it's extremely useful besides the more known use of battling Dementors, but also because it serves as a quick communication mean, and the shape of your Patronus kind of mirror your soul.
Shielding charms are useful as well, and Legilemens is great to find out lies in people's minds.
I liked most of Snape's charms and jinxes, except Sectumsempra, of course, but I like Muffliato (even the word!), Levicorpus, Palalingua, and all of them.

Jezz there are so many that I like. Hmm, I like:

Scourify - to clean something that I couldn't (or maybe just didn't want to)

Accio - to bring me say the phone when it rings and I am in lets say the shower (has actually happened)

Levicorpus - good to end a fight, no matter how mad someone is, getting hung upside down by your ankles is always good fun

Wingardium Leviosa (sp?) - to lift something way to heavy for anyone to lift

My favourite spell is probably expelliarmus. I think it's because it is such a useful spell and disarms the opponent without harming them. It leaves them unprotected and defenceless (unless they can do a non-verbal summoning charm without their wand) so this is a good advantage to have. It also means for people who try to avoid hurting their opponent that they can succeed in this quite well.

My favorite spell is Langlock. I forget where I saw it, but when I read it, I was like "Whoa, that'd be so fun to use!"

I like Langlock because there are so many people in this world that would love nothing more then to talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk about nothing at all interesting or productive. Langlock fixes that.

And the reactions are even better!

- Muffiato, it is so cool. I was always jealous when the trio used it. It would come in so, so handy.

- Aquamenti, muggles need something like that too. Being able to get water like that is so useful. Dehydration, take that! haha :p

- Accio. I think that one just because I'm always pretending to use it. Its not really my favorite or anything, but if it was real it would be pretty nifty.

- Scourgify, cleaning! That is sooo useful. I also pretend to use that one. haha :)

- Expecto patronum, for the reasons many people have already said.


There are so many, but i'll stop there because I could go on for hours. All the spells are one of my favorite parts of the books. :D

Are there even any Lame Spells to chose from!? Spells Rock! If I have to chose just one.It would have to be the Summoning Charm "Accio".For I cannot tell you how OFTEN I have Lost my NintendoDSi Stylus! Thank God that it came with a spare.I always eventually find the one that I have misplaced.But it sure would be great to just be able to say,"Accio Stylus!"

As I am a Slytherin, then it should be the Unforgivables, I suppose.. well, honestly sometimes I really do feel like using them on people who are getting on my nerves... those are however, just special occasions.. so when I am calm, I would say I like Apparate/Disapparate the most. Just imagine how cool it would be to just think: "Ough, I wanna go to Rome" and then appear there! Or any other place.. just LOVE the idea.. would be very useful if I wanted to run away from my parents` yelling when I refuse to do what I am told...

My favourite spell is quite an odd one I think, aguamenti. Water is always useful, and to have it in abundance would be lovely! And also the word sounds lovely to say, so I would have no problem saying it over and over.

Then there's also lumos, protego and a few other useful, more everyday spells. Sure, expecto patronum is cool, but how often do you meet a dementor?
