Amy, I saw The Spiderwick Chronicles. And, no. I have never seen Sweeney Todd. It's rated R and I'm only 13 and my parents are rather strict. I actually don't even know what that movie is about.

Anyways, the movie was pretty good and I had a gigantical thing of popcorn so it was even better!

Since it's my birthday soon, my relatives came over and I got presents! I got a bunch of gift cards and I'm going to buy a digital camera! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

And, when I crop it shades the areas I'm getting rid of, and they're shaded in pink. And, I figured out how to use vectors and now I can draw on the computer. Haha, I just tell to tell y'all.

I suppose that's another cultural difference - an R-rated film here is an 18 but that doesn't stop me watching them my mam and dad aren't strict but they prefer me to stick to 15s. Hi Amy! I'm sorry I wasn't here to say hi sooner. *Waving frantically* I was inducted into this wonderful Hp loving society only yesterday and I'm glad to meet you!

I saw the Spiderwick Chronicles the other night. I thought it was really good. My younger sister made me read the books last month. She said I couldn't see the movie if I didn't. The movie wasn't exact to the books, but it had the main idea. I think it was so weird seeing two of Freddie Highmore. And I haven' t seen him in a movie since Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He's so much older. Go figure.

Oh my gosh, emma, I don't think anyone can ramble as much as I do. Most of the time my family is ready to kill me cause I don't stop rambling! I talk all the time. So brace yourselves! I've only seen two rated R movies in my life, and they'll probably be the only ones. The Patriot and the Passion. My parent's are quite strict with movies too, and I respect that. But what did you think of the Spiderwick Chronicles? I know you mentioned that you saw it.

What's tomorrow? Friday! Why can't it be the weekend? I've been dreaming that it's Saturday, then I wake up all confused. It's so annoying. I've been getting up at the crack of dawn lately. Darn that rooster!! No, usually I sleep through his annoying cockle-doodle-doo, but it's cause it's bright out by six- thirty. Oh, did anyone see the Lunar Eclipse last night? Hehe... I never stop tallking either. It drives people completely insane because I always end up rambling on and on about random things that sometimes make absolutely no sense whatsoever. That was quite a long sentence.

Yup, I go to a public school. And end up driving my teachers crazy because I have talking-itis. At least, that's what I call it. Once my teacher actually told me that I was too hyper. And once I alsked my teacher if we could do yoga in class and he said that we could but then he didn't let us so I just did it and he's like "Emma, you're out of control". Although that was probably because I was laughing so hard and my face was bright red. That another thing I always do; laughing. I laugh too much but it's fun!

Chelsea, I thought that the movie was good. I had never read the books so I didn't know what was going to happen which made it pretty exciting. But, yeah, I knew that Freddie Highmore played both of the twins and my aunt didn't believe me!

My aunt and grandma are staying an extra day because of snow. I want them to stay because I barely ever see them, but between my aunt, grandma, mom, dad, and brother, it seems like someone is always looking over my shoulder and I'm just not used to that.

The weekend is tomorrow! YAY!!!!!

Chelsea, this is a random question, but since you are home-schooled, do you get summer vacation? Just wondering...

EDIT: AHHHH!!!! Every single time I see my grandma and aunt they tell me that I should play basketball. This time I thought that it would be different, but no... They just told me yet again. It's soooo annoying. I don't even want to play basketball. It's one of my least favorite sports in the world. Nat, that must be sooo annoying! There's a girl at my school who thinks that she's good friends with me, but she's not! She'll like see me in the hallway and start talking to me and I'll just nod or shake my head and pray that she'll go away soon. The thing is, I'm too nice to tell her to leave me alone.

I hate those tests in gym. At my school like the first thing they told us was that they weren't gunna grade us based on skill and the next thing I know, we're having a skills test. Whats up with that? And I always manage to not do so well on the test and then I don't get the grade that I want in gym (which is a solid A, by the way. Hey, that rhymed!)

Guys, I have a question. Okay, so there is this girl who sits at my lunch table who I don't think particurally likes me. I mean, I try to be friendly, and I say "hi" everyday when I get to the table, but most of the time she just ignores me. And in the hallway, I was walking with my best friend and the girl says hi really enthusiastically to her and doesn't say anything to me. And she always gives me weird looks when I say something even semi-un-normal. What do I do?????? It's not like I can switch lunch tables or anything, cuz we're not allowed to! I'm confuzzled...

Sorry about that girl at your school, Emma. I'm not really good at giving advice. But I kinda know what you're talking about. I 've had similar problems, but not exactly the same. There have been a lot of people in the past that I've tried to be friendly to, but they just ignore my existence. It's kinda sad. Cause you're trying so hard to be friendly, but they just don't want to be. As Nathalie said, she's probably jealous of you for one reason or another. I think the best thing to do is to just continue to be friendly to her. It's hard to be friendly to someone who just isn't being very nice, but I don't think it would help to ignore her too. Eventually your happy attitude is apt to rub off on her. We hope. But until then, just continue to say hi and wave.

well.... hmm.. what to say? My two bext friend's Winter Formal is tonight (they go to a different school than me)... so I'm gonna do their hair and makeup and stuff. yup. I'm soo happy, today it's 40 degreess out already!! Wait, that would be about 4 degrees celsius right? yeah, well it's warm and sunny and the snow is melting so YAY!!! okay. super long post.

It's only 34 degrees here in Fly Creek. It snowed yesterday and I had to shovel this morning. It was a nice way to wake up. Shoveling.........who wouldn't want to be?

I've had a very productive morning so far! I'm so proud of myself. After shoveling, I made some birthday cards for some people who's birthdays are coming up, then I wrote in calligraphy and my hands are covered in ink. Now I'm here being sociable. I call that productive!

Oh my gosh... 4:00 in the morning? That's insane. I could never, ever, ever, wake up at that time. Hehe... but on weekends, I sleep until 10:00 so... yeah.

Anyways, my parents are looking at some house. For some weird reason, my mom wants to move. But, I don't! Moving isn't fun. I love my house. I mean, I'd still go to the same school and everything, but still, moving is bleh... Just like all of the sudden, she got this idea in her head that moving would be a good thing and me and my brother are like "NO!!!!!" The only good thing about the house that they are looking at is that it has a pool.

Well I got up at noon, just because I was up till one talking to people. And now I'm doing homework again!

Amy I have another English friend who's in year 11 too, and I'm sure that its equivalent to our grade 10. We don't do GSCE here, or SATs. We just have EQAO for math in grade 9 and the literacy test in grade 10. But we also have exams at the end of every semester that count for 30% of our final grade. Yes Nat, we are very lucky here in Canada.

Leah, I didn't get to go to the youth rally. We were running a little late. Our bus broke down at one point, so yeah. But, we were standing in the street and heard a good amount of the speeches. It was so wonderful. <----(That's a happy cry) I get so emotional going there. How long did it take you to get down there? It took my bus ....9 and a half hours. We went down the night before.

Oh my, I just had a really scary experience. I was having fun burning the corner of a folded kleenex, and lemme tell you I have NO experience with burning things, and then the whole thing caught fire!!! It was so scary! I just threw it in the sink (lucky it was right next, eh?) and turned the water on. Who knows if my hand caught fire, I was too busy panicking. But seriously- how in the world do people put out fires with their body? I'm too scared to even touch it with my finger.
