Woot!! First post! Anyway, I am going to start this thread off by... Well... I don't really have a plan on what to say. I'm just typing... Lets hope everyone else does bettr than this!

Hi! Okay, I guess I'll kind of start off. What's everybody doing with their summer? I'm going to the Grand Canyon. I'm gonna be there when HPDH comes out, so I'm going to get it in, like, the middle of Kansas. I'm actually really lucky I'm even going to get the book at midnight. For all the other relaeses I had to get them the next morning, because I "shouldn't stay up all night just to get some silly book" But for this one, I said I would be very ticked if I didn't get it, and there going to be stuck in a car with me for over 24 hours...

I'm rambling again, so I'll just shut up.

I'm going to France in a week! And I come back 2 days before DH comes out! But I'm gonna miss the OotP film.

Who's gonna get the book at midnight? I definitely am! I'm going to queue up at Borders! Yay! Who else is??

I'll be at the midnight party!! But I probably won't get the book because it is ssssoooo expensive at Borders, so I'll get it at Costco the next day, bright and early!!!

At the Waldenbooks I'm going to, it's 40% of at midnight. I wonder if they might do the same thing at Borders?

Borders out here in Cali, in my town, they're doing the 12:01 am HP party and it's 40% off if you pre-order ur copy *grins* whos going to be standing outside of borders in the heat/rain/snow wherever you are XD lol I know i am!!!! *bounces in her chair* heck i requested the weekend off so i could read the book in peace lol

Yeah, I'm so going to the midnight opening! Me and my friend went to the opening for HBP, her dad took us, and we didn't get home until 1am. But anyways we were saying how excited we were to read when we got home and he goes, "What, you are not reading, you're going staight to bed." And we were like," What we just waited in line for 3 hours, we are going to read!" And so he says,"Fine than, I'll just take your books!" So when we got to her house we ran to her room and we trying to find other books to swap the covers, and I found the 5th HP book so it looked relatively the same, but my friend couldn't find a book the same size so she got this tiny hardcover book and put the 6th cover on it. It looked hilarious when we handed him our books, becuase they were totally different sizes! So we didn't get to read until the morning . This year we have a plan,though, we are going to bring the 6th book with us in the car and switch the covers in there! And I'll bring my big bag and stuff the real 7th books in that. Haha, i hope it works!

Since my parents are divorced and my mom dropped me off at borders for the 6th potter book, I met my dad there. Some of my friends were there also and I was standing in line with my rich friend (I mean it, rich!!) and her mom goes "Sophia, why don't you go and grab a book, I'll pay for it" they are about 30 dollars and she was already buying 2 I think, I was like "Really??!!!" haha. So I go back to my moms and read it, went to my friends and she ruined the plot for me..... And my dad ended up buying a book also.... so now I have 2 of that book.......... That is why when I get the seventh book, I am completely isolating myself from the outside world, I will NOT let someone ruin the plot again....

Ohh, I hate it when some one ruins the plot of a book. One of my friends did that for GoF, thankfully she only told me about the Triwizard Tournament and nothing else. But it still bugged me.

I went to see the midnight premiere with two friends, everyone was dressed up as characters and I was Hermione, one of my friends was a blonde Ginny, and the other one was Professor Umbridge it was great! The best part of the movie was at the begining when everyone was shhhing everyone me and my friends screamed silencio and everyone laughed and then the shhing continnued. my favorite scene was the scene with Harry, Hermione, Hagrid, and Ron when the were introuduced to grawp. im going again today im seeing it in IMAX in like 2 weeks.

My friend saw the midnight premiere and they got a free wand and harry potter glasses!!! I knew I should have went to it! I saw the second one instead. I wish I was in your theatre when you shouted silencio. that would have been hilarious.

It was ok..I thought they could have at least made the memory scene more than 3 seconds.
I screamed silencio toad!!!hahahahaha,there were 15 people that knew what I was talking about(i did that when the toad interupted DD)...

Oh my gosh. I wished Snapes Worst memory was longer in the movie but then my friend is like "Oh. it will probably be a deleted scene on the DVD" so now I can't wait for it to be on DVD.

I got the book at midnight and was so excitie. I got this big poster of the cover - its pretty. I finished the book in 24 hours. I slept in between though! But I cried so much. ANyone else cry?

Well I felt my eyes well up when but other than that I my eyes never teared up my mom was bawling all night and my best friend said she cried as well but im not that sensitive but his death was hard on me so yeah.
