Great start, actually. It has been a long time since I've been excited about a fan fiction (including my own), but I am very excited about the notion of reading more of yours. I like the fact that you have placed Hermione in a situation that makes her uncomfortable--especially the fact that she distrusts Snape without Harry and Ron's influence. She is thinking ahead and is living smart.

oh ya new chapter and it was good. i liked it and i think that because you let us see snape's point of view of the night of the attack and all your story will be ten times better because now i WANT hermonie and snape to get together where before hand i was still hesitant

I wasn't sure how soon I wanted to introduce Snape's thoughts, but I didn't know I was putting in the Legilimency bit until after I wrote this chapter, and if I changed it, the Empathy Elixir thing wouldn't have made as much sense. Whew, that was confusing, but I'm glad I caught you off guard - I like to do that to people.

I cannot believe you're really going to be gone for another two weeks after leaving it like that. I'm dying to see where all the built up tension between Severus and Hermione will lead. I'm also extremely excited to see what is going on in hte Great Hall, and how that in turn with affect what Snape goes to deal with at the Death eater meeting.

i really like this fic and i think it's a good idea to focus on the story from hermione's end instead of harry's end all the time. very few people really finish their fanfics so i'm really happy ur still going.

Dumblegirl - thank you, those were my thoughts exactly. Not that Harry's point of view isn't fantastic, but I wanted to explore from the female end of things. I've had some trouble finishing fanfics in the past, but so far I'm going strong on this one!

Actually I'm in the process of completing the next chapter; it's proving a lot more difficult to write than I thought, but don't worry - it'll probably be up by tomorrow, because I will be spending the whole weekend reading DH and will not have time to write, hahaha.

harry#1fan4eva - thank you! I personally love a good cliffhanger, so I do my best to put them into my fic. I'm glad you like the storyline, because at first I didn't really like it myself, but then I stopped planning like 10 chapters ahead and just wrote on the seat of my pants. I'm glad to see you like it!

x_kc_x - thank you for your comments! I felt the same way you did at first - I thought that a SS/HG ship was ridiculous, even though they are probably two of my favorite characters. The more I read fics about them though, the more interesting the idea became, so I just rolled with it!

Ahhhhh, I'm seriously feeling disturbed right now!

I've got a few things to say.

First of all, This is the first fanfic I've ever read. Ever. I've always found the idea, rude? I'm not saying you're rude. I've just always thought "It's the author's story, [in this case JKR] so think of your own." But I guess when you can't get enough of Harry Potter, you do desperate things. Just as I read fanfic. Which I've always been opposed to.

Second, Hermione and Snape. As I said, I feel disturbed. Yet, I hate to say this, but I will definately be reading the next chapter. So.. Good Job.

Third, Do you think maybe, just maybe, you could make Hermione more.. know it all-y? I just feel like that's not Hermione.

Fourth, post another chapter quickly!

So, I've given in to reading fan fic. Good Job. lol.

haha yes i do rather like this story! but now theres ron messing with her feelings! thats unfair, but i did wonder what was going to happen between them, whether he'd find someone else, die, or get hurt by hermione and be forced to forget about her!or maybe there wil be a HUGE twist and shes falls for snape and a load happens between them and at the last moment realise it's not snape she wants it's ron! and then you could make it even worse by it being too late ron's already over her so shes left with noone because she can't have snape anymore because of some unforseeable reason! wow that could be a potentionally good story! but a sad one! hmm
anyway! i can't wait for your next chapter , except i'm going away for 2 weeks so i wont be able to read it! oh no! (i'll have to resort to reading the harry potter books, what a shame (can you hear the sarcasm?))

krazy4kreacher - I feel honored that you chose my fic to be the first one that you read. I have never thought about them the way you posted, it made me see it in a different light. I suppose that is a fair view to make of it, also. Haha, I'm glad you're going to read the next chapter, even though you dub the ship "disturbing". In truth, if you think about the actors in the movies it feels a little disturbing, seeing as how Alan Rickman is in his sixties and Emma Watson is in her teens, but the relationship between the actual characters very much intrigues me, and I'm sorry you don't feel the same.

Also, I understand what you mean about Hermione being a know-it-all, but I was sort of going for the angle that she was growing up, becoming more mature, though still know-it-all-y when her childish side is shown. I'll see what I can do about that. Thank you so much for reading my fanfic! I'd love it if you'd continue to read it and post your comments, they are helpful to my story!

x_kc_x - Wow, maybe you should roll with the idea and write your own Sev/Hermione fic, haha! Those were some interesting possibilities - I'll see what I can whip up in later chapters! Now that I think about it, part of the problem is that Alan Rickman is pretty old. So, in my head if I use the picture of Snape I had before the movies came out, It's definately not as disturbing. Yet, it's odd because of DH.

And I understand what you're saying about Hermione growing up. And becoming Less Know-It-All-y. It makes sense.

Also, would you be so kind as to post more chapters now? Not in a few days. Ha, how about in one day? Meaning tonight you post another chapter! Haha, that would be great.

oh wow this fic caught my eye and im so glad it did, i read it all in one go and I'm hooked! It's such a good idea, I love the way it focus's on Hermione's point of view and it shows that despite Harry and Ron being upto the big adventures of the Horcruxes she has her own things to deal with! really really juicy things might I add! You've presented her in a really interesting light. Hermione/other less likely character ships (well in comparison to Ron and Harry i mean..) are my fav, and I'll definately be keeping a look out for updates


P.S. aww Snape is showing sincere emotion? I really hope he admits some feelings for her! *crosses fingers and waits* hehe

This is brilliant! I started reading a few days ago and today I've read five chapters straight just so I could be up-to-date. This is definately my favourite fic at the moment and you write so well. The way you've portrayed the interaction between Severus and Hermione as well as the tension and embarressment is great. It is so believable and so easy to become so caught up in the story and forget what's accuately going on around me, thanks.

Wow, people probably were worried about Hermione for the four days, esspecially since she just left the meeting and no-one saw her since and then Ginny sees her. Poor Ginny, her best friend can't even tell her what's happening as she's promised not too to Severus. I'm just getting so involved in this story so please hurry up and post another chapter as soon as possiblee. I'm dying to read more.

Well, I have to say that I enjoy your creativity. Meaning the additional scenarios you have added to JKR's concepts. For example. the connection of Leglimancy between the two, the taking in of memories that Hermione did, the description of "stars" as thoughts, etc. I love how you expanded on the concept I guess is what I'm saying. It makes Leglimancy a lot more interesting.

I really liked the part where Hermione boldly invaded Snape's mind without his permission and her retort and justification of it. That just seems like something JKR's Hermione would have done so I think you are doing a great job of keeping her in character.

I have to say that Chapter 12 is my favorite chapter so far. I really like how you have balanced out their emotions and their attitudes towards them. It's like they are walking a tight rope where at any minute one of them could fall with the hopes that the other one will catch them. Keep up the good work.
