Jayden there was a lot of confusion about Ron's job. He did help out at George's shop, but he eventualy became an auror once Harry became head. I think that's how it went down, i'm not sure.

Ron and Hermione as parents always make me feel victorious. Like how we got RHr in the end, like we knew was going to happen since GoF (because those two were never really subtle).

I feel like i'm gloating. Ignore me.

i have tried to track down the interview... but i cant find it. well, it had all the future careers and i can only remember that Harry became Head Auror (because he had proved himself enough and didnt need to have finished his education) and Ron went to work in Diagon Alley with George. It didnt say anything about him becoming an Auror?? but who knows...

I don't know where, but loads of people have sworn that JKR states Ron later becomes an Auror. They also swear that they have read her saying that...but I can't ever get a link. i'm almost positive he also became an auror, because after DH came out i remember i was on a frenzy trying to see EVERY interview, and i distinctly remember that in one she says Ron becomes an auror, and in another she says that he helps George, so i was confused, but then i figured maybe it was kind of both...but i definitely know there was an interview SOMEWHERE!

i could see ROn becoming an Auror under Harry (as he is Head Auror), but i think he would have to take tests and things all over again, because the trio didnt really finish their education, so they wouldnt beable to get a *high* job like that. (Except Harry, Because He Killed Old Voldy). And *George* didn't Either, but his job has nothing to do with the ministry or recirement of OWLs or NEWTs. So ROn could have done either, i just don't see him as wanting to take tests and stuff, when he can work with George and make lots of money without educational limits. Gosh you slackers! not reading the books until late! Lol, just kidding. I starting reading the books when the first three were out, before GoF. I would've been about 10-years-old. Even i saw RHr back then.

Ah ... i keep thinking about what might of happened if Hermione hadn't so annoying and made friends with harry and Ron on the train. The troll scenario would've happened for one thing, they probably would've gone on the midnight duel, because Hermione wou've talked them out of it, and never would've found out about the PS.

Oh, I had complete faith it was gonna happen! When reading HBP I thought it MIGHT happen then...but it didn't. I had no doubt they would get together some way or another in DH (even though none of us knew it would be called DH then) after they didn't in the sixth book!

Yeah, HBP i was all "Omigodmigod-are they going to actually get together?!" then Lavender comes in and i was all "Ah well, DH then."

Only problem for me, was by the time we got to the final battle, i remember checking how mucl onger i had to go and was thinking "There had better be RHr in there some where, because i have not avdly shipped for year's not tog et it in the end."

And wootness! We got it! Go page 502! (Or whatever page it is in the American version!)

I know what you mean, Moon! I expected myself to be like that, but, surprisingly, I wasn't! I was at the begining of the book. And then Ron kept hugging her and I was all 'awwww'! After that my thoughts weren't there anymore! But when the kiss came...I was sooo happy! It cought me off gaurd nearly as much as Ron!

I was all 'aaww' and 'aaah' in the beginning of the book when Ron kept doing these sweet things (even If helped by a certain book ) but when all this stuff was happening during the final battle I was just...not expecting it

I don't know how I expected it to be really... I didn't really think about it that much because it was annoying to be guessing and in the end it probably wouldn't be the way you imagined it anyway.
I guess it pretty cool Hermione kissed Ron, though it would have been just as great if Ron had done it, I'm just glad we had our moment !

I always guessed something would happen at the wedding before DH (Well ... Krum thought they were going out, and Ron asked her to dance-that's something, right?). And if it didn't happent hen, i figred it'd happen in the middle of the battle.

I don't think i would've noticed nothing happened happened until the end of the book, because so much stuff was happening (Harry sacrifiing himself people!) then i would've gone hang on a minute ... where is the RHr?!

Wow, I feel I haven't posted in such a long time...which I haven't and I just realized I'm not going to be able to post regularly like always because I'll be mainly away at the beach or something ...well, our weather is going crazy! It has rained non-stop since Saturday here in the city (according to my mom and friends who stayed here), and the beach was supposed to be hot and sunny, but instead it was cloudy, freezing and it even rained a bit stupid global warming!

sooooo, back to RHr...or Harry Potter at least, I remember clearly my aunt got me PoA's book for a Christmas before I had read or seen SS or CoS. I started reading it and I didn't understand a single thing. Then I watched SS movie, and understood the book better. Then when I became the crazy HP fan I am now, I re-read everything But I saw CoS before reading GoF, and after seeing the awkward handshake I thought...do they like each other?... and of course the Yule Brawl just made it clear

Yeah, Ron and Hermione's kiss was unexpected, but I can't imagine a better way, it was enthusiastic and we didn't get a "Harry, guess what, we kissed!" ...we got to actually see it THANK GOD!

I had read lots of Book 7 fics before the book itself, and SO many of them had stuff in the first chapter like 'Ron and Hermione had started dating that summer' as if the summer after HBP didn't even matter in the slightest. I just found it...off. I'm happy JKR didn't actually put it that way!

I've been thinking a bit and Hermione and Ron is quite cute in the last books. Sort of reading the good parts of DH again and they'e so cute. I like the part in DH when Hermione and Remus is standing in the Burrows looking at the sky and waiting for Ron and Tonks. It's so cute! XD

gosh i haven't been here in so long either, cristi!! i can't WAIT to get all the reviews of visiting the set of HBP...i read a post somewhere where someone said that the new york times or something said when to see the teaser for HBP...and apparently it said 'Watch the Superbowl'...now i have no IDEA if it's true or not, but i am definitely prepared to watch it this sunday!!

i am dying to see or read interviews with Jessie cave, because we still don't exactly know her personality! but everyone who visited the HBP set (Mugglenet, Tiger Beat, and Veritaserum) have said that they've interviewed her...so we'll see!

and NymphieDora you are SOSOSO right about that scene, it was so cute and i sighed when Ron came back and they hugged...although Ron had to go PMS-y on Hermione and be like 'Always the tone of surprise'....but that's ok, it was adorable!

I too hope the teaser trailer rumor is true, Y fronts!! Wow, that'd be so exciting...I'd definitely watch the superbowl, I never do because, well, I'm not American and we're not into American football...but I'd watch it to see the HP thing if it is true...!

Ron's patrous is a fox terrior (A dog in other words). I think that's retty sweet, because dogs are loyal (Like Ron).

When d'you think they'd get married? I think after the awkward stuff (yes, I still can't see them not being awkward around each other for a while *hint hint Hermione-Is-A-Chess-Peice HINT *) Ron might want to get it done quickly at first...and then Hermione would remind him of Hogwarts and go on and on about how their young and he'd be all 'Ok, ok! I was agreeing at the we've-still-got-a-year-to-go-at-Howarts! Geez....'

I think they'd marry after Hermione finished Hogwarts because JKR said she's the only one of the trio who returned, which is normal and very Hermione-ish! She'd graduate and get on those boats they got on to in first year (that's for symbolism-I'm not making things up, JRK said they would! ) and then he'd propose... I think that's what they'd do because they love each other so much and while Hermione is at Hogwarts the whole 'Hermione is a chess piece' happens

Oh, and I didn't realize the Remus/Tonks moment, I mean, I had seen it but I didn't realize how cute it was don't worry, Miss, we all have our preference ships

In my eyes, Harry and Ginny get married in 2002 and Ron and Hermione a year later in the summer of 2003. That gives them a few years to settle down, finish school, get jobs, and allow older family members to get married first.

(Because George'd tease them a lot if the two youngest Weasley members got married before Percy or something).

Ron and Hermione's proposal i imagine going horribly wrong. Like Ron just ambushes her in his nervous state, and Hermione's already had a bad day at work. Harry and Ginny listen at the door (Though sometimes they dont have to use extenables, because Ron and Hermione are shouting too loudly).

That's pretty much exactly the way I imagine it happening.

Ron proposing would probably go wrong, but just because he'd be so nervous and shaky and stuttering so she wouldn't understand what he's asking her.
But once she gets it, it would be sweet I think.

That wouldn't give much time for kids...if they had them while married, that is. That's how I imagined it, anyways. The Epiloge was set in 2007. I did the math (their seventh year would have been in 1987...the book ended in 1988, probably, and then add the 19 years later... ).

Miss, i think you mean 2017, not 2007. Because if you add 19 year's to 1998 (When DH ends), you get 2017. Which gives them actualy three year's for Ron and Hermione to have Rosie, and Hugo two eyar's later (Assuming he's the same age as Lily).

I have no idea. They might have to sort out they're bickering problem, though. It would be quite interesting if Lavendar moved in right next door to them. Or if Viktor did... hee hee hee... I can just imagine Ron if that happened.

i think it was after the summer of fourth year...he was probably thinking about it ALL summer

It's kind of hard to tell when Ron and Hermione fell for each other. There's so much of their friendship that we didn't get to see due to the story being told through Harry's eyes. The two of them spent an awful lot of Harry-less time together over the Summers. They may have fallen for each other then since they had more time to develop a relationship. I'm going to say that Ron fell for Hermione the Summer before their fourth year, which would explain his denial and jealousy of Hermione dating Krum. I think that once Hermione found out that Ron had feelings for her, she started realizing that she had feelings for him too. She probably fell for him the Summer before their fifth year. That cheek kiss in OOTP explains it all. She never kissed Harry like that!

In my eyes, Ron and Hermione always had a wee bit of a ... soft spot, for each other. Like, they could be completely annoying, but they wouldn't be able to go on without the other. I think they actualy fell for each other at different times.

Ron-i would say he sort of got a crush on her in 2nd year (Because everyone was all feeling protective of each other, and he probably thought it'd go away). He probably felt a bit of a pang when he saw Hermione in the hospital wing. He also probably liked her, because well, she was his best friend, and basically the only girl, apart from Ginny he was close to. If i was him, i'd have a crush on her, which sounds a bit weird coming from me ...

So he probably started liking her around then. But thought it went away after a while. But you saw (er ... read) that awkward hug on PoA. He probably realised the feelings hadn't gone away then.

GoF, Ron was jealous of Krum. That was when he realised without a doubt that he fancied Hermione, because he didn't like seeing her with someone else (and that situation only has one explanation really). I'd say he realized it was luuurve ... after the whole Lavender fiasco. Yeah.

Gosh, that was just Ron ... Hermione i see falling for him a bit later. Probably thrid year was when the stiring feelings came. She was more upset about Ron hating her than she should've been, and she didn't know why (this is me just speculating here). When she hugged him, she wondered why Ron was being all awkward.

4th year, after the whole Last resort thing, she realized she liked him, i'm guessing. When Ron went out with Lavender, she was obviously hurt (Because he said yes to going out with Hermione ... dude, anyone would be upset). When Ron was poisened, was when she realised she loved him.

If there was ever a time they realised they couldn't live without the other after all this, was when Ron left, for Hermione, and when Hermione was being tortured for Ron. Because both times, the other could easily have been killed.

I don't think at first they knew the other liked them. I'd guess after the Lav-Lav fiasco, they both sort of mutualy knew the other fancied the pants off the other, but neither wanted to be the first to admit it.

Hermione would insist on tridition, and Ron's too proud.

But Hermione gave in, in the end, as we all know (And love).

i personally think that ron falls for her in the summer after GOF...well it just makes sense coz in GOF he's so oblivious to his feelings...he doesn't even know that he's jealous of Krum so i guess the summer before OOTP makes him realize plus he got to spend the summer with hermione....and that also explains the perfume gift.....

as for hermione i would say that it is in the sixth year...well she's so protective over ron and she obviously doesn't want ron to be left out especially in the slughorn thingy....plus the canaries and insult she throws to ron when he's going out with lavender.....and the way she disappear whenever ron and lavender comes and the futile attempts to ignore ron.....

Agreed. But he probably brushed that away, like Harry did about his protective feelings about Ginny. Ron would've taken that as purely friendship and later on thoguht about it...then realize it might've been the start of loving her.

Also, in CoS, Ron bugged her about liking Lockhart allot. Later in the books, he didn't bug her so much as get jealous and make a snappy comment to feel better about the whole situation. So I think he definitely brushed it off as friendly feelings...
