I used to NEVER check it. But now I'm constantly checking it. There's actually another reason I'm asking. My friend and I e-mailed a long lost friend the other day. My friend e-mailed this long lost friend and signed it from the both of us. She wrote back saying she'd love to hear from the both of us anytime. She took 5 days to respond to his e-mail. Two days after that *I* e-mailed her from my own e-mail address. But a little more than a week has gone by and she hasn't answered. I guess maybe she was just being polite and she only wanted to hear from him and not me oh well...maybe she hasn't checked it yet? I doubt it though it's been more than a week. Everyone checks their e-mail more than just once a week right?

Well your long lost friend just probably hasn't checked it yet. Unless, that is, she's been talking to your other friend and not you.... Are you sure you typed the email address in correctly? I usually have that problem and end up sending stuff to the wrong person

I try and check my email every day...maybe every other day. But I know a lot of people pretty much stop checking because now they have things like AIM, MSN, and myspace. I've been really bad about returning emails lately. I have a lot of people I need to write to...

i used to be TERRIBLE when it came to checking e-mail because most of my friends and i just CALLED each other i mean it was much faster or if not used myspace, but lately I've been logging in daily why? well its significantly easy because i use IGOOGLE its pretty neat once you get used to it, I've also been checking it more often because I've signed up for a fair few interesting newsletters i receive weekly im also reading some E-BOOKS and i receive 2 new chapters every 3 days. Im actually getting kind of FOND of my e-maill.

I feel like I have no life... *sigh*. I check it at least twice every time I come on the computer, which is extremely frequently now. I would say, on average, I check my email at least six times a day. During the school year, it tends to be around 4 times a day: once in the morning, once when i get home, once when I'm doing my homework, and once or possibly twice after dinner. I have no life!

I also check my myspace heaps, to see if anyones commented me. I sometimes have to send stuff from school home. so email comes in handy.

Wow firebolt, I have no life either, so don't worry about that I almost never check my e-mail since I have MSN messenger, it tells me when I have e-mail, so I only go on if I have mail, which isn't often.... I think my friends forgot about me.... Oh well, schools almost here (joy ) and then I'll have a life.... barely

Whenever I sign into msn, I get a little pop up bubble that tells me if I have any new e-mails. So I guess ... I check it whenever I get a bubble that says I have a new e-mail.

I check my e-mail only once a week normally. Sometmes its longer, because none of my friends send emails anymore. They just comment or message me on myspace.Though normally that doesn't happen either.

i check mine waaay to often.
everytime i sign in msn, or when the little box comes up with the happy little jingle to tell me when iv got one.
sadly because im on bebo and skype i get a whole bunch of emails telling me about comments etc, and a whole bunch of spam too. i hate spam *shakes fist*

Oh my.. I have AOL and its beeps at me every time I get a new Email. I get emails for every topic I post in here on VTM so you can imagine how many emails I get notifying me of replies. Each times it beeps I check it, see which thread was replied to, and then I make my way back to that thread to read/reply.

i have always been really bad at the email thing i never checked mine!! i was so bad that i dont even have one now i just use my boy friends (sad i know)!! i dont do the msn thing either this is really the only chat room forum thingy i use ( besides the order ) i am also a part of an order of the phoenix forum but its differnt than here i post here way more but it because its about differnt stuff i like the order for its purpose!!!!

I am so slack with my email. Maybe once a week, even a fortnight sometimes. Then it involves a massive clean up of all the out-of -date uni notices that I didn't recieve on time.

I check my emails normally every day, at least if I'm at the PC. If I wait for a special email then I check them more often, but that does not happen too often...
Most of the emails I get are send by my mail programme anyway.

I check it daily, just to see if i have something interesting. Most of them are spam (Gosh, if i won every lottery i "participated" in, i would be a billionnaire right now- it is so disturbing). I rarely get interesting stuff at my email...

i check my email like every 10 mins-1 hr. usually i dont get much stuff, as it is the summer and most people either A. have lives (unlike me) or B. are on vaca.

Alright well I'm a bit of an emailaholic... along with several other things. I've got several email accounts. My main with yahoo is what's always conneted, and I get pop-ups showing that I have a new email. Considering that I get (on average) a good 80 emails a day, I check it multiple times an hour when I'm online (which is rather frequent as well).

I also have email accounts through msn and aol that I check occasionally, but not everyday.

And lastly, I have an email account for my website which I check about once a day.

I am pretty bad when it comes to my email account. I will check it once every three weeks and thats if I am good. Sometimes I will let a month pass without even checking it. Thats when my family members start to call me getting annoyed at why I'm not responding.

I check my Yahoo about once every 45 minutes, less if i'm online for a sustained period of time or am expecting some mail...

I check my HPM mail less regular, like once every three days...and i never check my Hotmail...presumably they've shut that down...

At least 10 times a day if I'm home. If not, maby 3 or 4 times a week. But I rarely check my Gmail (google mail). I just don't use it as much.

i didn't used to check my emails at all and my old hotmail account was deleted because of unactivity lol so i check them everyday now and sometimes i check them more than once a day if i'm waiting for an important email!

Well me I check my e-mail every day Only takes my five minutes though because I receive a daily e-mail with my horoscope in it. Also I tend to get a few e-mails from YouTube so I check my e-mails everyday basically Sometimes I do check my e-mails more then once a day because sometimes I am notified by MSN messenger when I get and e-mail.

I check my e-mail at least once a day. I have two Gmail accounts and one of them downloads itself into my computer every time I open the "Mail" icon on it and keeps downloading the messages that come in every half hour if I leave in in stand by... It's very much like the thingy from the "You've Got Mail" movie, but it doesn't say anything... just goes "tup" whenever a new message arrives and a white number inside a red circle appears on the dock on my desktop. That's the one for messages from school.

The one for messages from friends (the other Gmail one), I check it almost the same, and the one from MSN, not so often, I sometimes go a whole week without checking it.

I think I'm very much addicted to my e-mail and anything related to internet... That's some big deal... i know, I've got issues... Hahaha!

I check my email at least twice a day. Its usually up when im on the computer, so if i get an email, i'll know. I just cant stand it when people have a hundred + emails in their inbox and they never check it!!! My mom does that!!!

I have been known to check my e-mail a lot. If it's not one of my really busy days when I'm never home, I must check my e-mail 3 or 4 times a day, whenever I happen to be at the computer. I never have much mail, but I always check it hoping to hear from my friends.

How often do I check my e-mail? About every hour. I nearly live on-line. If my parents didn't make me get off, then I think I actually would. I'm always sending e-mails I get, those chain messages, I don't believe in them but it's really fun to pass them along.

I'm online a lot of times for hours. My dad normally has to threaten me with only being on for about five minutes. Like that would happen any way. I'd still be on at six in the morning, going on Veritaserum and posting.

When I'm not busy I'll usually and normally will check it about 3-6 times a day. Very seldom do I not get to check it. And I check for messages on Veritaserum quite a lot too. I'm always hoping I will hear from my friends.

I'm too lazy so I barely check my e-mail...it's kind of annoying because it's always full of Facebook stuff and stupid e-mails... I only check it for e-mails from my friends and family, and when people send me important attachments for school and stuff...

Right now I have like 600 unread e-mails... I should start reading them, or deleting them...

Erm... I never used to check it, I got too much junk.

But on my new computer (the apple mac YAY), I've started diverting my junk. I actually find I check it more and get more real mail. I'd say I check it about once or twice daily.

Well, I just get on it everyday. I get on it a lot during the days too, so I'm pretty much on it about 12 times a day. or evevn more. ya. I'm realy attached to it.

I check it all day long. Starting every morning, ending at 8.30 p.m. cause then I go downstairs and watch TV.

I used to check my email every couple of days, but now that I have so much going on, school, work, friends, VTM, I have to check it daily. I check it at least 3 to 4 times a day and I am glad I do. There have been times where I could have missed an exam or friend's birthday if I hadn't checked my email.

LOL well I used to be all okay and stuff but as you can see I, uhh... log in alot. So I check whenever I'm on the computer, priority being my old account which I use for forum subscriptions. But if I'm on for a while then I just check ever, erm... while. Unless I'm emailing someone who's online too, then I keep the window open and click check mail every here and then. Yeah, I'm a tad addicted.

So if you count VTM subscriptions, well I check nearly everyday.

I check my e-mail a lot. I don't ever really get e-mails from friends because not a lot of them know my e-mail address. I always have to check it to see if I have new replies to my fanfic feedback thread or if I have any new PMs. Haha. I'm so darn addicted to VTM. And I also check my e-mail a squintillion times a day to see if my favorite fanfic in the whole wide world (its on another site) had been updated. I'm, like, obsessed with it.

I teach at a college, so emails are part of job. I have to check my email everyday. During the week, I generally check it three or four times while I am at my office. I also check it when I go home at night. Altogether, I check my email/facebook/etc at least thirty times each week. Besdies, spending time on VTM makes email very accessible.

I check my e-mail maybe...once every two years.....just kidding. I try to check it as often as possible but when I don't it usually does seem like its been a couple years before I look through it. I like getting lots of mail so I guess that could be why I wait so long before checking my inbox.

I hardly ever really check my mail, usually I just look at the subject title and that tells me what I need to know. So right now I have a thousand so emails most of them are notifications for Myspace, Facebook, and YouTube comments.

I check my e-mail once a day, almost everyday, but I don't even know why to bother about it. I always get: Vtm's alerts about pms (which I almaost always have checked before), Englishtown's (I don't know why on earth I don't go and log out of that), my aunt's or a friend pps' (I never open them; it's so annoying the words appearing one by one ), and that's all.
I think I have stocked like more than 200 e-mails; since I never check the pps but I don't delete them either, they go cramming and cramming there.
Thanks God hotmail is so kind of give us more and more room everytime. Now where I really need more room is here; I have only space for 4 pms more, and then I'll have to start deleting them! It's such a shame; I don't want to delete buddies pms, but a stock 100 isn't enough for me anymore!

Well I go on the computer everyday and I have yahoo. So what I like about email is that when i get on the computer and i stayed signed in my account, at the top in the address bar areas, it has a little envelope and when i get mail it shines and it has the number of how many. So it's convinent, and i know what it is mosty. VTM, family from cubaor pictures from friends. OR things that i sign up for other than that i dont use it much. thats what myspace is for
