Okay, Ootp is out...and most of us saw it! so, what were your favorite scenes or parts of the movie?!

mine were:

-Harry being possesed...I almost cried!

-Hagrid showing Grawp to the Trio...specially when Ron worried about Hermione (so cute!)

-The Flight of Harry and the members of the order, it looked really beautiful!

-Harry teaching the DA members to do a Patronus, that was VERY cool, and we know what Ginny's and Luna's patronuses look like!

oh, and so many more! I loved the movie! remember to stick to Veritaserum's Forum Rules!

-I LOVED THE GRAWP SCENE..it was so funny!!!!
-the scene in the department of mysteries where ginny does that really strong charm
-all scenes with Helena Bonham Carter
-scenes wth hermione and ron

Thats all i can remember.

The Grawp scene definately was the best. I loved how Ron seemed to get jealous when Grawp gave Hermione a gift. I also love Fred and Georg'es exit. Although this isn't a particualr scene, I also loved the recurring depiction of Filch puttng up new school rules with a ladder.

my favourite part in the movie is when harry and cho kiss wow i loved that and when he weasley twins leave hogwarts i love all the da lessons and all of the fight scene and defo when harry is being possesed i loved that bit like when he tells voldemort he feels sorry for him i love that bit.

Ooh I loved that line too! When Harry tells him he feels sorry for him! It was really...powerful...I think... Oh and I loved Filch eating sandwich! And when he gets the "I love you" sweets from the twins! yuck! lol!

Yeah I liked the scene where Filch thinks he has a secret admirer, but my favorite scenes are all the duels in the Dept. of Mysteries, and the duel between Voldemort and Dumbledore, and the part with Harry being possessed. It was great to see all the powerful scenes, especially involving Harry and his tie to Voldemort.

ok as much as i really didnt care for the movie i did think that they did an amazing job with the costumes and the scenes and well most of the charcaters. so here goes...

i absolutly loved all the scenes with LOONEY i mean LUNA LOVEGOOD she was absolutly brilliant

the scene wher harry gets possesed is really good and so was the fight with DD and voldy in the ministry

i also liked the threshtals and well sirius black he was wonderfull (being my favorite character and all!!!)

I've now been to see the movie 4 times
and everytime i have a new favourite scene
there's so many good ones
but the best are
- Luna + Harry with the Thestrals
- First Grawp scene
- The 'Dumbledore's got style' scene
- Both times when Sirius and Harry hug
- All Lupin + Sirius scenes
- Sirius + Harry fight Malfoy 'Nice one James'

all of it was amazing
i want to go and see it again + again .....

Ooh. I like this thread! I've only seen it once so I'll post my favourite seens that I can remember and when I see it again next week, I'll post more.

- Any scenes with Harry and Sirius together. They were heart melting and amazing ... it broke my heart knowing that Sirius would die and Harry would lose his best friend and god father.

- The DA scenes. They were really cool.

- Any scene with Helena Bonham Carter. I loved her .... to death! She was freaking amazing and she truely made this film that much better!

- The scene where Fred and George are talking to Nigel who's crying. That was really sweet.

- After Harry kisses Cho and is talking to Ron and Hermione about it. That was funny.

- When Hermione says to Ron "do you ever stop eating?" and he says "i'm hungry!". That was funny.

- The scene with Grawp.

- The whole ministry of magic scene. That was awsome! I loved it!

- The Voldomort/Dumbledore fight. Brilliant!!

- The possession .. that was sad.

- The death. I know a lot of people didn't like it but I thought it was well done. So ... whatever.

well i cant pick out any particular scene as such, but a certain moment just nailed me! i laughed so much, and ive still no idea why!

when the giant fireworks burst in on the exam at Fred & George's departure and there is absolute chaos, Filch runs in with a mop! a MOP?!

i definately drew attention to myself in the cinema, laughing like a fool, and i still dont know why it made me laugh so much!

so where i dont have a favourite scene per se, my favourite moment was Filch running into the great hall with a mop (seriously!?) to get rid of the fireworks

I need to see a film a couple of times before I can remember it properly but there are a few scenes that stick in my mind.

> The kiss scene
> The funny scene after the kiss scene , Hermione's line ' I'm sure Harry's kissing was more than satasfactory', loved it!
> All the DA scenes
> Fred and George's departure and all the fireworks and stuff ( though I thought that was kind of spoiled by Harry fainting at the end.
> The Grawp scene
> The ministry of Magic scenes at the end ( though I didn't like Sirius's death)

I'm sure there are more great scenes but I can't remember them all at the minute.

My favorite scene was Harry being possessed and how they showed the flash backs. I thought that was one of the best scenes in the movie. I also like the Fred and George scene and the scene in DDs office when Fudge and Umbridge come to get him.

& when he holds up the prophecy like he's the king hahaha

I liked alot but i cant remember some of them...

Ones i liked:
DA in the ROR with Patronus, and when Rons Patronus nocked some one over!
Fireworks from Fred and George!
Harry being Possesed, that was sad and interesting how they did that in a good way!
Harry and Siruis.
When Fred and George Apparate to the room where Ron, Harry and Hermione are and then they use the extendable ears to listen what the Order was saying, but crookshankes eats it!
The Kiss scene!

1. Occlumency lessons with snapes worse memory etc
2. When Harry had that chat with Sirius ( like has something gone wrong)
3. The possession.. absolutely loved it!

Worst scene was the kiss...eurgh!

Just want to say I completely and utterly agree with you. I love the Malfoys, they rule big time . I love it when Sirius punches Lucius in the face, that was sooooooo funny!!! And I also really like the bit where Harry practically screams "LOOK AT ME!!"

My Favorite scences were:

-Tonks ....all the scences with her I liked it when she tripped over the umbrella stand

-When Umbridge comes out of nowhere and talks to all the students xDD

-When Harry shouted "LOOK AT ME" at Dumbledore out of nowhere I nearly jumped out of my seat

-I loved it how Harry was possed that was so werid yet funny I lol'd but then cried when Voldemort was going through his memorys

-I laughed when Bellatrix laughed crazy like when she escaped

i wish when they went down to meet grawp ron wasnt there because that was my all time favorite book scene and i kinda have wanted it to be almost exactly the same andhaving someone that wasnt there in the scne is a big difference

i wish they showed the people getting hurt (not that i liked it when they got hurt) but all 6 left unhurt Hermione didnt get hit with that spell, ron didnt get throttled byt he brains, ginny didnt break her ankle, neville didnt break his nose, and luna didnt get knocked out the worst hurt anyone got was harry when he was being possesed.

When Harry was in Dumbledores office after seeing Mr Weasley get attacked and he screams "LOOK AT ME" It made me laugh lol.

When Bella killed Sirius, it was done in a way that I found funny, she looked so intense when she said "Avada Kedarva" I just had to laugh.

My favoriet secne Where the twines fly thorugh the room where the rest of the people are takeing the O.W.L.S and make all the papers fly and light the fireworkes!

My number 1 favourite scene is when harry ron and hermione are all back in the common room discussing harry's kiss with the line "just because you've got the emotional range of a teaspoon" my favourite scene and line of all time.
The scenes with Luna are awsome not everones cup of tea (hehe) but a fine coice made by the producers. She just has that dreamy feeling around her as if she's from a completely different dimension.
Neville for me,was just a bit strange for me around the bit of the mimbolus mimbletonia(spelling ) it just didn't seem like him for some reason
And who could forget the weasleys departing? That was definately a strong performance and i liked the special effects

I loved the first appearance of Kreacher. There was something just flat out disturbing about him, mumbling and deliberately not looking at the new arrivals.

Neville's first successful Petronus. The look on his face is perfect.

The frantic combat in the Ministry. While often chaotic to follow, there was a great deal of excitement, and the duel between Dumbledore and Voldemort was brilliant.

Last, but oh so very not least, literally every scene with Luna Lovegood. From the first time she lowers her book to say "They're Thestrals" on, I found myself thinking that not only was Luna a real person, they persuaded her to be in the film. Evanna captured the character on so many levels. What a find!

Well, I liked a lot of scenes, but the ones I probably liked the most were:
*The final battle between LV and Dumbledore, including the scene when Harry was possessed. It was wicked!
*When Harry was trained DA during those sessions! It was so cool and I loved how we saw all of them progressing quickly, and learning how to sucessfully ward off Dark evil. It was great! Especially when I saw everyone's patronus's, that was cool!
*When they were in the DoM, and battling all those Death Eaters and using what they learned in DA to help them!

the movie overall was brillant [[all though i did like the book better]]

Oooo, My Favourite Scenes...

-Harry getting possed by Voldie in the MOM and his eyes all going white a spooky, I cried alot.

-All the bits with Grawp, Ron got all protective and jealous and pure funny which was brilliant

-When Trio first meet Luna in the carriages [Harry looks so gangstaa in his hoodie, lol]

-When Luna is looking for her shoes at the end, and she takes Harry's hand, so sweet

-Everything with Bellatrix, she is an awesome character.

-When Harry sees Voldie in the train station and the bit after when he gets all moody at Ron and Hermione

-Plus everything else with Luna and Neville, two of my all time favourite characters


In fact, the whole movie was fabby, now I remember back-I must go see it again.....

My favorite scenes...well...

1. I cried from when Sirius died (remember the 'good one, James'?) until the end of the movie, flowing harder when Harry was being possessed by Voldemort and the flashbacks were so sad. That, if possible, made me cry more.

2. Fred and George. From when they Apparated into the room with the Extendable Ears, to when they comforted the crying Nigel (that was the sweetest thing ever), and to the Fever Fudge on Filch. That was so funny. Everything that had to do with Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes was just hilarious. And then - The Great Escape. Those are some great scenes.

3. Grawp's scene. That was so funny. Ron got all protective over Hermione and then got upset when he found out Grawp liked her.

4. The whole DoM part. Excellent. Excellent! Can't say anything more than that. Bravo!!!! Bravo!!!

5. Meeting Luna was great. She is such a free-spirited, lovely person. At the end it was so adorable how she took his hand when looking for her shoes.

6. DA meetings were awesome. It was so fun to see everyone's Patronuses, and funny how Cho and Harry reacted when they saw each other.

I have more, but I don't really think anyone will actually want to read them.

My favourite scenes (not in order)

¤ The possession - I did cry the third time I saw it, and with Voldy going on like "so weak, so vulnerable.." being all evil and hurting Harry
¤ The opening scene with Dudley taunting Harry - he's really mean, that kid!
¤ All Bella-scenes - the psycho laugh
¤ All Voldy-scenes - could've been more of them, though
¤ Harry and Sirius in the house - could've been more of those too, since it was his last film
¤ Dumbledore's escape - "He's got style..."

I loved everything with the DA, it was so cool to see them all progressing! I loved when they were learning to produce a patronus... and Ginny did it first, yay, go Ginny! I loved that we got to learn about Luna's patronus before it was on DH and about Ginny's, which was never in the book.

I also loved everything in the DoM, it was so beautiful and all of them fighting in the Prophecy Room was great. When the Order arrives, the fight is so cool, and so is Dumbledore's and Voldy's...lots of my friends who don't read the books were like "OMG that old Dumbledore can really fight! "

I thought the whole movie was really cool

i got the order of the phoenix dvd for xmas and have to say i love it all. i have watched a few too many times i think but here are my favourite parts:
-snapes worst memory when we see the marauders and how snape was sort of the out cast
-when dumbledore leaves with the clap in the air and theres a whole bunch of fire and then kingsley is like you may not like him minister but you cant deny dumbledore has style...that part made me laugh alot in theatres and it attracted some unwanted attention...
-fred and georges departure was pretty cool since i love the twins
-even though bellatrix is evil helena bonham carter made me actually kind of like her since she did such a good job acting her out so definitely all bellatrixs scenes
-i liked watching neville progress in the DA since at firstr he was having trouble then he was finally starting to get it
-luna was an excellent part of the movie and i enjoyed the part at the end when she blames the disappearence of her belongings on nargles
-i would have to say i quite enjoyed the part where harry is having his first detention with umbridge since it shows how cruel umbridge really is so i was really pleased when she gets attacked by the centuars later on

those are the scened i can think of on the top of my head but im pretty sure i enjoyed the whole movie. the part that really made me cringe was the kissing scene since it was so cheesy she is like oh mistletoe and then they kiss! i think they could and should of made that scene better since harry and cho looked very awkward too and it wasnt that good awkward that was supposed to be there it was like the actors didnt want to kiss or something but thats my own opinion.
