Haha. I remember that show! I never really liked it that much, but i watched it a few times. I miss the old Nickelodeon shows!

I definitely remember Pete & Pete. That was quality television.

I especially liked how all of the "villains" had the coolest (or cool-weirdest) nicknames, like Pit Stain, Paper Cut, etc. The episode where Pit Stain and little Pete teamed up to ruin the school hygeine presentation was awesome.

Just kind-of as an aside, I find it interesting that *so many* times, when people reminisce about "old" Nickelodeon shows, Pete & Pete is the first one about which people think. *shrugs*

Well they were these two boys. You know I dont rely remember it that well. I was really little when it was on.

i used to LOVE thatr show! i cant remember anything about it tho! oh well but my brother who is 16 still would watch it if he knew the channel and time! he loves Nickelodean still!

Yes I remember that show, this two brothers, both with kind of ginger hair, both name Pete, I remember one was thin and the other was plumb, something like that!
I used to watch it, but they pull it out long ago!!

Man, I would do anything to watch the old school Nickelodeon shows...especially Pete and Pete.

I was too little back then to actually remember most of the shows, but they were cool nonetheless. The little brother had some kind of tattoo of a mermaid (or something like that) named Petunia? Not sure, lol. I like the older brother though, he was kinda cute, hehe. The mother had some kinda of metal plate in her head? Not sure about that either.

When Nick had some kind of old school marathon, they showed an episode of Pete and Pete..I was squealing when they were about to show it, lol.

Dude....I watched that show so much with my brothers. I always called them "pitstain" because of that one kid. Haha, I remember the one with the "C-D-P" that they put in the pool to see who kept peeing in it. That was classic.

Ooh, yeah. that was such a cool show! it was seriously funny. and yes, the younger brother was Danny Tamberelli, plump and red-haired...the older one was this thin guy, red-haired too...it was really funny...oh, and danny's friend in the show was Michelle Trachtenburg (spelling?) from Buffy and Ice Princess...woah, i know a lot about this thing!

I didn't get cable when I was a little girl, so I never saw "Pete and Pete" when it was originally on. I did get to see the first season now, since it's out on DVD. I wish more shows on television now were more like "Pete and Pete"...it has a very fresh, smart look at life through the eyes of a kid. I can't really relate to any of the live action shows on Nickelodeon right now because they don't have any soul. "Pete and Pete" was clearly written on the level of a child or at least a really beautifully strange adult. It understands something that most contemporary children's shows don't.

I really liked the episode where Little Pete goes on his big bedtime strike with his friends and stays up playing all night long. I can't believe that Artie, the Strongest Man in the World, stayed up all night long by listening to funk. What writer in their right mind would write something like that these days? It was a really, really cool episode.

Why can't kids programs be cool like that again!?! *Cries*

TV shows are definitely not what they used to be. Now, every Nick show has to resort to crude or stupid humor just to entertain, and it's not funny at all. Pete and Pete was one of the weirdest but coolest shows I've ever watched...those were the days. Salute your Shorts and Doug were my favorites too.

God i miss that show.anyone remember that one episode where the new neightbor moved in and he had to do a bunch of weird stuff like putting an ice tray in the freezer without spilling any water and eating chicken wings without getting messy? the younger brother was in a burger king commercial a while ago i think.
