Could J.K Rowling End the Series With an Epilogue?

Well, it is quite well known that a student will return to hogwarts to teach... but she never specified what grade. I assumed Harry's grade, like im sure most of you did. I believe in the What/ will not happen Veritaserum thinks Neville will come back... but for that to happen there has to be an Epillogue.

Or if not then the book will have to go threw 2 years of school which has never happend... and the student would have had to become a teacher the year after gradding... which i also strongly doubt...

This also means Hogwarts will re-open. =]

But do you think J.K would end a 17 years of her life working on HP with ...Ten Years Later?

Jo states that she has no intention of writing anymore HP books. If Jo puts and epilogue with "ten years later" then that tels us there will be no more Harry books. However, if there is an epilogue I don't think she will make it "10 years later". At most 1 years.

From what I have heard (this is all 2nd source so I don't know this for a fact or know what interview it was in) JKR said in an interview that the last chapter of the book would go through all the main characters and just say what ends up happening to their lives down the road and everything

dont we already know there will be an epilogue at the end of DH? summarising what situation all the main characters are in! that doesnt mean it will be a ten years later..... jobby, it could be months, weeks, but it could be years. im sure whatever the length of time this epilogue will cover, JKR will write it brilliantly!

i hope so i really want to see where everyone ends up doing in life cause i love these books and it would be a shame to end without noing what happened to all the survivers

Think about it.. would JKR come back and be like:

Epilogue: A year after harry's death, Voldemort continued to murder everyone he could...

I just saw a picture on a news site that showed the epilogue for DH. If it's a fake, it's a realistic looking one. I didn't go any further, cause i don't want to get spoiled. But at this point I would say yeah, theres an epilogue.

ive seen that aswell. I didnt read it.. i normally read the fake spoilers so i can laugh.. but i couldnt find a link that would open. But anyways, if there is an Epilogue i dont mind... its just i think Harry Will Have to Live for their to be one

It does not contain any spoilers. I would not do that. It does contain a picture of rhe epilouge chapter, with a very Mary Gran Pre drawing, which does make me think there is an epilogue. I heard one detail, I hope it isn't true, but since then I have stayed away from Mugglenet, which is allowing HUGE spoilers.

Says that Scholastic went after some guy in CA who posted scans of the book online. Don't think they would have done that if it wasn't the real thing.

Yea, cause like i said before... if he doesnt survive shes no gunna be like: Well after Harry Hermione and Ron died all the Weasleys killed themselves and the order turned to death eaters and the world was destroyed.
