I know!
I mean you can just tackle by just pressing 1 button and auto-aim to a hoop..
They should make it more realistic and challenging..

so true i mean come on its too easy. I thought that once istart playing in the world cup thing was going to be hard but it wasn't. I wish they at least made it a little bit more harder.

Yes, it is way too easy. It was a little false advertised. The ad clearly said that you could be whatever player that you wanted to be. It gets forced on you where you can't do anything to stop it.
The ideal version for me would be if you could say. "Right I'm going to be a chaser," and for the whole game you were a Chaser.
It's so boring too. Like after ten minutes you are sort of

and you just can't bear it any more...

You guys all know that there are different levels, right? You know, the broomsticks? If you play at Firebolt level, it gets much harder - the other teams you're playing start to get wise to you and anticipate your moves. And getting the challenges all beaten is pretty hard too....or maybe I'm just getting old.....

I think the game is quite entertaining on the fire bolt level, catching the snitch is particurlarly difficult.
I was just wondering if anyone has collected all the cards yet?
I havn't and i was just wondering if you collect all the cards do you win the Irish Quidditch team? As I think it is quite outragous if EA left them out, considering that they did win the world cup after all.
Sorry just the thoughts of a disgruntled Irish Harry Potter fan.

i don't know. It would be nice for that to happen, but i saw the trailer for the game, and while it didn't so much (half of it was the ea sports logo and wb logo!) it looks like the third game. i don't know if you want that or not....

Can we please oh please try to keep this on topic! We have a thread open for discussing the GOF game. I have no problem with you mentioning it here, so long as you relate it to quidditch world cup!
I personally liked the game, It was nice Harry potter related light relieve, which is great when you want to completely switch off and not have to concentrate too much. In any case maybe it was just me but I found the challenges (to gain the cards) very hard in places. Particularly ones like cat the snitch but loose the game. (again maybe that's just me.
Incidentally I did manage to finally get all the cards... (I know, I know I have no life

)
*Spoiler warning to do with the end of the game*When you get the final card in the game you do not as i had so hopefully believed get the Irish Quidditch team. I mean what where EA games thinking off! Ireland won the World cup in the book. It's just so unfair! anyway if you see any of my previous posts on this topic you'll understand my mini rant

I'm going to have to agree and say I was like well dang that sucks no Irish team! I currently have the game on the GCN and I think its a pretty good game and quite hard in places. I bought the game for $10 at a gamestop thinking, well, its probably just a game loosely based on HP to cash in on it, but I was drawn into it instantly. And for those who say it is too easy, crank up the broom level! Don't play down on the levels below nimbus 2000! The game gets quite difficult on the Firebolt level. And I agree when saying that some of the challenges involved with getting the cards are very hard. Overall, good game, can be got for a cheap price.

it is easy but some of the hogwarts challenges are hard like the beaters and stuff i cant do them.Harry Potter and the Philsophers Stone on PC allowed you to do a quiddich tornament once completed but u just played harry and had to wait around the snitch defencily to stop the other seeker getting it. Now i know there more diffuculty then ill go and get my ps2 from the basement

I found this game to be extremely easy and after winning each game on the second hardest level by an average of like 700, I traded it in.
As Dark Wizard mentioned, I can't belive this game wasn't online, that was very disapointing.
I also thought the game was very very bland. The gameplay was so boring, it's just the same thing over and over. I also thought they should have created a bunch of leagues or something. Make like a couple of leagues below the national level where you have to work your way up to the national teams.
I give this game a 1 out of 5.

I am glad that I am not the only one who thought it was easy. I have won every single match and played my friends who are experts at their game and beat them. I have a 7 year old sister who has played it and won every match.

That Quiddictch World Cup thing is
waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy too easy. I always play as Australia and always win. England's not that good tho. Spain's good, even if the players look scary. On the Gamecube, the broomsticks are way out of proportion and are massive compared to the itty bitty players. I'm serious, players in Wheretheheckistan could beat England

Wow I was wondering why Griffindor creamed me in Queerditch. It was those pesky Firebolts.

Anyway the game is a bit easy I've gotten up to a 1000 points but I like it just the same.

It's a cool game definetly worth the $10 I paid for it.
I was disappointed there aren't more teams. I was hoping for Ireland and smaller teams like in Qudditch Through the Ages.

Yeah it is a bit easy..
I like it though.
I think the only bit thats hard is when you've get a firebolt.
I have a funny thing to say about the Quidditch World Game.
Me and my friend where playing it once and it was takeing ages to catch the snitch only then did we realise that we weren't playing at all.
It was a bit strange.
But i reckon they should bring out a harder Quidditch Game.

Urgh, I totally know what you mean - first I was all, hey, what's wrong, can this be the first Harry Potter game I am not enjoying? But now I see I'm not the only one. It is way too long, too easy and false advertisment was the only thing that would actoualy sell the game. If I knew what it was like, I think I'd only get it to have the full collection of Harry Potter games, that's all. The QWC is waay too long and I get eye sore from playing every two matches on the same stadium. Once I picked up a scoring techinique, I got five hundred points a game and it got boring...

every...i can't even explain it. It's realistic in some ways. But not in others. And it just kind of makes Quidditch a little...boring.
I'm sorry to say.

yes the game was really easy but i could not get the bluger challenge on PC once my friend beat that though i was amazing and won 600-0(or at most 50) unless i totally messed up and missed the snitch

for sure! when your close to someone tap a you get the quaffle and you have auto aim you cant go outside the stands or behind the goal post. You can only be the person w/ the quaffle i mean you can't switch to the seeker and just look for the snitch.

If they could make another one, a more adult one (i.e. bludgers causing damage to players and stuff) and special moves like the ones mentioned in Quidditch through the ages.
More realistic graphics and more teams (I.E Ireland, the whole of the tems from U.k.).
Finally, actual Harry Potter Music

It's definitley too easy. I think in a season I scored over 2400 points. The games last too long when you keep scoring. I thought it was a good game, but way too easy.

I agree, but you have to give the creators a break. This is a great starting concept. I think that they should make another game and make it better. Almost all the complaints about the game can be used as suggestions which would help to make a better game. I don't know exactly how this would work but one suggestion would be to let the game play for a certain amount of time, and then when that time is up, it replays the game but this time you are in control of the seeker and you have to find the snitch before the time is up. Confussing, but it is one idea. Also, it shouldn't be so easy to steal (and score). They should make the game more team oriented and strategic. One thing they could do is make it like Fifa Soccer.
Difficulty wise, it should be a ton harder. Firebolt seemed hard at first but then it just got out of hand (too easy). I can't play the game unless I play against a real person because it is just too easy.
Overall, I think that they game was good for a first attempt but they can make it a whole lot better. I hope that EA works to make a new, better version. That would be fun.
