Ok, so this isn't a new S.P.E.L.L or anything. I am not competing against any of the other groups that circulate.

I am here mainly to discuss the pros and cons of being a Weasley and which Weasley you want to be...

I also want to go into what the Weasley's will do in the future and just about everything Weasley related.

I'm not sure if this will become a group or just a discussion thread? Also, I don't really want it to be a 'How hot is Rupert Grint?' thread... Whilst that is fun to talk about to many of those threads exist.. and this is about the Weasleys!!

So, I want to know.. Why do you want to be a Weasley?

Or of course.. Why not?

i dont know if id want to be A Weasley but could i be their next door neighbor? if so id wanna be Charlie Moruge their neigbor who is a witch.

if i cant be their neighbor then id be.........Charlie Weasley even tho he is a boy! he is just so wicked!

I think that I would love to be a Weasley because:

* There is always just some sort of action going on. I mean let's face it, has The Burrow ever been truly boring? With everyone there it jusst seems like a good time.
* They are a really nice happy family. I mean sure they have some arguements (everyone has to) but all in all they are pretty nice and happy. Particually for a family that large.
* You can pretty much get a laugh a day there. Between Fred and George's antics and Arthur's muggle obession it should be a pretty intertaining place. I mean seriously, every single Weasley family member has made us laugh more than most characters do. Sure, Fred and George steal most of the laughing spotlight the Weasleys are by far the funny-est chacarters.


The only major con that I can think of is the money, which isn't that big to me.

it would be cool to say, one morning: hey Fred I found a new get-away from class-candy!
or: Well spoken brother weasley!

The Weasleys arent the riches folk in the world but who cares, they have fun and they live happily, and will always do i think/hope(Voldemrot)

I wish I were a Weasley because...

* They have a great sense of unity.
* They appreciate the beauty within a person.
* Arthur Weasley is just so funny. (What does a Rubber Duck do anyway?)
* Fred and George do a lot of things that I've always wanted to do (i.e. leave school)
* They have a nice esteem about themselves.
* Ron is just so funny.

If I had to be a Weasley...

I would be *drumroll* Ginny or Ron ~ after all they are the closest to Harry and they have the most fun!

Oh I love the Weasley family!
I would want to be one because they are a large close knit family (I have one too and I love it)
They are so comfortable. They act completely confortable around their own family and for the most part anyone who is around. They are actually kind of comforting to read about Especially Mrs. Weasley(when she's not spazzing about something ) and Mr Weasley(he's just so laid back...and obsessed w/ muggles )
And, like taks said... there is always something going on -- it wouldn't be boring to live in the burrow!
I would want to be Ginny I think. Because she gets to be around Harry and Ron and Hermione, she gets her fiestyness from Bill and Charley, and her sense of adventure from Fred and George.

Pros:
-Close Knit/caring
-they are so nice!!!
-they are generous
-kind
-the fact that they have little money doesn't bother them
-they are just plain great
-never boring at the Burrow

Cons:
-Lucuis and Draco bully them
-Percy is stuck up (no offence to any fans)

clearly, i'd like to be a Weasely, Bill preferably, even though i'm female, and he's not. Why? Well he seems to be the COOL brother, and since he's one of the oldest, the others look up to him and he's got a pretty cool job.

Ron, he's cool funny, very loyal I just would be a weaily though ron if I could. no matter how poor they are or how much troble he gets by his mother the family is there for eachother. I know percy will come around.

I really like the Weasley family, they are so cool, and they have a lot of amusing stuff!
The housem is great and all the things they have there, the kitchen everuthing that works by itself, they have a great yard, the car, etc! I almost forgot the clock that tells Ms. Weasley where everyone is, that`s funny!
And also all the comunication they have, they are all good to eaxh other, and the twins jokes are great, and the way ron gets mad, so hilarious!!
And i think i miss some things, but everything is great!

I would like to be part of the Weasley family.

This due to a few reasons that I shall name :

-they are such a nice family ! I have always wished for myself a big and happy family, to sit around the table when the major holidays and celebrations take place, and to joke together and be joyful that they can spend their time likewise I have never had the opportunity to enjoy such thing, or maybe this happened when I was too little to remember.

-they are honest, reliable and friendly people, with a good education : they are not rich at all - a most dislikeable thing for me- and they get appreciated for their qualities.

-their home seems to be a strangely messy, exactly the kind of home i'd like to have.

Who I'd like to be ? I am not sure. Probably Bill. He seems to fit my own behaviour

I'd be a Weasley because:
1) You'd never get bored with their family.
2) I could make fun of Percy day and night.
3) Mrs. Weasley is cool.
4) Mr. Weasley is obsessed with muggles, it'd be interesting to see how they do things without magic.
5) They live in a cool house.

If I had to be a Weasley I would be:
either Ron, cuz he's best friends with Harry and he says the funniest things.
or Fred/George cuz they're so exciting with their inventions and pranks.

As much as I love the Weasley's...I rather be their next door neighbour or something than an actual member of the family. It would suck being related to someone you have a crush on. (Yes, I have a crush on fictional characters) And I like having my share of quiet time. So, I could live close enought that I can come by and hang out, but still have a way to get away from it all.

I'd love to be a Weasley just to see what its like to live in a big family. I only have a brother and a sister and there’s six years between all of us. I think if you were a Weasley you'd never be bored. With so many brothers and sister (only Ginny) even if they would probably get on your nerves a bit, at least you'd always be entertained. Although if i was Weasley, I’d probably be a Percy. I'm a stickler for rules and probably an easy target for pranks.

i would want to be a weasly just so i could do majic mostly. but i have no brothers or sisters so i would want to be a weasly for that too. and fred and george are pratical jokers so i would love to have brothers like them.

Well - I already relate to Molly - I have a house full of very smart, very troublemaking kids (one with red hair!) - and I am so jealous of her because she has such a great hubby! (My ex is actually the spitting image of Lucious Malfoy - and I was actually relieved when he left!! - but that's another story!). I love the chaos and the warm fuzzies in their house - and if I could be any character in the HP series - I would want to be Ginny - she's got great parents and all those great brothers (still crossing my fingers for Percy). I always wanted brothers, and I think my little red-haired girl is very lucky to have her older and younger brothers - even though she doesn't believe me at this point!

I hope we hear more from Molly and Arthur and especially the Twins in the next two books!!!!

the weasleys make up a great wizarding family. the burrow always gives the feeling of home.
i like all the weasleys, except for percy.

i would like to be a weasley. I mean sure they may not be the best when it comes to money...but their family is aweosme and very loving...fro the most part. and if were to be any of them i would be a girl version of Bill. I am half asleep but if i am thinking correctly then Bill is the one studying dragons. and that is what iw ould love and plus he just seems awesome anyways!!!

I would love to be in the Weasley family. As either Fred or Georges wife. They are soo HOT . And they are soo funny. I would love to spend the rest of my life with on of them . The Weasley's OWN!!!
They are the link between the wizard and muggle world. They at least try to understand the muggles.
Ron is a true friend and you can always laugh with him.
Fred & George are the most hilarious characters in the series.
Mrs Weasley is a mum everybody wishes for.
Mr Weasley is nice, dedicated, loyal and a good husband and father.
Charly has his job
Bill has Fleur, who wouldn't have Fleur??
Percy is a turd. Does'nt fit in this family.
Ginny is best of all. Lovely, witty, loyal, gutsy, good at quidditch. And i keep thinking she's the one for harry.

So i would choose Ginny, but it would feel rather awkward for me, being a guy and all that

I adore the Weasleys! I wish I was a Weasley because:

*They have a great sense of humor
*They live in The Burrow. quoting Hary: I think it's brilliant!
*They are one big happy family (except Percy...)
*They're always trying to see the best in people
*They are just so very heart-warming people.

If I should be a Weasley I would probably be a mixture of Ron & Ginny. I reckon Ron's sense of humor and Ginny's personality from myself, so I'd had to be a mixture of both of them.

Well with out discution Goerge or Fred. They are the most original with a great sence for girls, sports and busines and they are not bad wizard.

it would be great to be a weasley even with money problems, they still live life happily. they are such a big, happy family. im an only child so i wish i had siblings. they live in the burrow. its an awesome place to live. so much action. the whole family has a sense of humor. i'd love to have brothers like fred and george. they are hilarious! i'd visit their joke shop. and ron's pretty cool too. the only con on being a weasley is being teased and bullied by the malfoys.

Why I would want to be a Weasley:
- Definitely to be part of the clock
- To be related to the twins and laugh all day long - nevera dull moment.
- SO Mrs. Wealsey can cook for me
- With that many brothers and sister, I would never be lonely
- I'd be a pure blood with really cool hair
- Warm loving atmosphere

I get 95% of this at home any way, but their family if I had to choose from the HP series would definitely be number 1. (I don't have red hair or a magical clock darn it)

I'd love to be a Weasley because:

1. Seven other siblings to blame stuff on when things get broken.
2. Fred and George are awesome!
3. Be friends with Harry.
4. The Weasleys' clock.
5. Mrs. Weasley reminds me SO much of my mom.

Of course i would want to be a weasley!! who wouldn't. they may not be the richest family but who really cares. they have the best house ever they hav a flying car( well had a flying car ) and they use magic in there house for basically everything. there is always something exciting happening to the weasleys. If i were a weasley i would want to be ginny because she is a girl and come on what girl wouldn't want to be ginny she gets to date harry! and she has awsome brothers. with fred and george around u would never be bored. she does get controlled by voldemort but harry saves her so its fine. She also has red hair ( well actually all of them do) I have always wanted red hair!!

I would love to be a Weasley, even though they don't have much money, because you'll find that families are stronger when they are going through financial problems. Everyone depends on each other more.

Mrs. Weasley is the nicest, best mother figure that has ever been written, because though she can be smothering, she always makes sure that her children are fed well, they have everything they need for school, plenty of love, and she HAND MAKES THEM SWEATERS. HOW cool is that. They don't seem to like them!! I want someone to knit me a handmade sweater with a "C" on it. In bottle green with a bright reddish-purple letter!

Mr. Weasley has a great sense of humour, and collects plugs. That's just too great.

Bill works at a bank with valuables and he's been to EGYPT. I LOVE Egypt. Next to Harry Potter, Egypt is my main passion. And he seems like he'd have awesome taste in music.

Charlie works with dragons, which I like, and could also give great pointers on being a Seeker.

Fred and George. I don't even have to explain. Jokes, tricks, endless ways to prank, eavesdrop and generally make mischief. You'd be set.

I could go on and on. The Weasleys are, in my opinion, the best fictional family that I've come across.

If I had to be a Weasley, I'd want to be Ginny, because she doesn't get so many hand me downs, being the only girl, shes the baby of the family, and has lots of older brothers to protect her, not that she needs it!

• I am afraid of spiders as well, so I can be Ron.
• Every girls wants to be Ginny, that we can deny!
• New knitted sweater from Mrs. Weasley as a Christmas gift every year aint that bad, unless it is a maroon sweater. And I love the way she raised her 7 kids, all being achievers in their own rights!
• I would like to help Mr. Weasley discover how airplanes afloat.
• I want to be the twins assistant in the WWW shop in Diagon Alley, or in Hogsmeade if ever they have plans of putting up a branch there.
• I wanna be Percy coz he want to work in the ministry, sans the attitude he has, oh well!
• I wanna be Bill and work in Gringotts bank, sans Fleur of course! He looks cool with long hair.
• I love to see Charlie mending the dragons. Hahahaha. But that's in faraway land of Romania.
• And the Burrow looks like it's the coolest place on Earth where one can play Quidditch. Aside from Hogwarts of course.

Everyone wants to be a Weasley, though they are poor, not anymore with the help of the twins, they are HP's coolest family!

I love the weasleys! they are my favorite characters byfar..even though i like luna and tonks a lot too.
who could have it better? a big loving family, cool clock (of course), great hair (hehe)- great people. each of them is unique and cool..although i dont care much for percy- after what he did in OOtP, but i expect he'll come around in the end...i hope.

I really adore the Weasleys. They are so lovable. Why do I love to be a Weasley? It's because of their family unity (Percy is not included!), their love for each member (though Fred and George show it in a different way. ), they could still smile and laugh despite of their financial problems. They know what is fun and there's no dull moments. They don't mind their financial status as long as the family is together. What can you ask for if you're already there, as a part of the family? Well, aside from the money...

And I want to be a Weasley because I want to have a brother like Bill, who's so cool; a brother like Charlie, who's a great Seeker; a twin pair of brothers like Fred and George because you'll learn what real fun is and you'll be aware of the joke stuffs and you won't be a victim; a brother like Ron, who's so protective and a sister like Ginny, who could help me with all the things! Ok, I'll include Percy... a brother like him, so that I could victim someone whenever Fred, George, Ron or Ginny taught me something naughty...

I really admire the Weasleys cuz the Burrow is so alive and happy every single day. Most houses with a lot of teens in them (Ron and Ginny) get rather boring and quiet. I live with my 2 parents and 8 brothers and sisters and 3 of us are teens. Another reason why I admire them is that they don't let the fact that they have little money get in the way of their happiness. And the Burrow's a, should I say, "hot spot" for some witches and wizards like Lupin and Tonks. But I certainly wouldn't wanna live there right now with Fleur running around.

I think the Weasley I am most like is Ron and I think it would be really fun being him, even though I'm a girl. If Ron were a girl, then he'd be my duplicate

And being rich doesn’t mean that your happy and perfect. Look at the Malfoy’s , look were they are going to end up even though they are rich. Look at Lucius in Askaban and Draco on the run. They are rich but not happy and at the moment not proud of what they have done…

i would love to be the weasley because well they are just the weasleys. they are some of the most dearest characters to me in the books, and i love them all so much, even the idiotic percy.

I have posted previously in this post, but I have forgotten to say who Iwould want to be. I will have to go with Molly. She is a hosewife with great skill, love and concern. She is very outspoken, stern, hot-tempered and has the best children anyone could ask for (except Percy of course, but he'll turn around). One works with dragons, the other works with money, two in the ministry, two with their own shop, one is Harry Potter's best friend and the other is his love. I'm sure Ginny and Ron will have two seperate jobs, her family is so diverse with interest, how could you not be proud. Once they are all working, I am sure the money factor won't be a problem, especially if Harry becomes a Weasley (marrying Ginny down the road of course).

Her life is perfect.

Oh, since you've started that kind one, Padfoot313, whose Weasley I wanted to be, I pick Ginny Weasley. I don't know but sometimes, I could relate to her (but in with her love life). She's a easy-gong person. Her personality is very strong yet she still appears to be lovable.

If I had to be a Weasley it would be because I find them down to earth and they are genuinely friendly and know how to make people feel welcome.Not to mention the fun that goes on in their house and how fred and george play tricks on percy!They are soooo funny!
They know not to take life so seriously!And that is so cool

i wouldn't mind living with the weasleys but i wouldnt want to be a weasley but if i was id choose to be ginny because she is cool. and also i would get to live with fred and george which would be hilarious and i would be laughing 24/7 haha. also the whole family is down to earth and are really close to harry! and Mrs weasley seems proper cool. id want to be a long lost cousin to them...would be better.

I have always wished I could be a Weasley!

I just love the burrow, it seems like such a fun place to grow up. And the family just seems so close (with the exception of Percy).
I would love to have Fred and George as brothers. And Mr Weasley sounds like the coolest dad ever.

they are a funny family, with fred and george who are incredible!, bill and charlie...the older brother who are friendly and have a good sense of humour, ron who is just ron and is funny! and eventually ginny!!! i like her the most because she fights for what she thinks is right and is nice...
they are all just weasleys and being one of their family would mean to spend one day better than the other, although being just their friend like harry and hermione would also be enough
