Well yes Albus Dumbledore in the harry potter sense it is to late, but that is just it its not to late for other books. i am huge harry fan and am very dissapointed but i have to say i would be just as outraged if it was anyother book also its the fact that they are ruining the magic (excuse the pun) for book readers everywhere!!!!!! and maybe by complianing to them they will learn from there mistakes and not ruin any other books/series!!!
The Times Review has not ruined any magic, I assure. I have read the review and it does a wonderful job summing up the whole series... rather the Deathly Hallows. It gives vague allusions to what lies within, but almost nothing we already didnt know. There is one blatant spoiler, but even that is so vague that it leaves you with more questions, than answers.
Harry Potter is one of the only books I know of that guards the secrets of the books so heavily. No other book I have read has caused me to not want to read about it before hand.. it is common practice to have book reviews come out before the release.. gathers hype.. Harry Potter is different and we all must understand that.
I really do not think that the Times did anything overly wrong... perhaps some things could have been left out, but like I said.. I read it.. and I am not 'spoiled' nor do I feel that the book was ruined for me.. it only made me more excited.
The distibrutors, however, should get penalized to the full extent of the law.. they broke the contracts in place for selling the books.
Again, do not read the Times unless you want a few generalizations to be spoiled.
