Seeing as there wasn't much interaction in OotP between Harry and Ginny, even though we got a few "well done!" 's and looks, do we think they'll have them talking throughout the movie? Like a couple of scenes when they're exchanging looks at Ron and Hermione bickering, or a Quidditch scene when Harry's too busy staring at her to notice a budger coming? Lol.

LOL! it is so cute both Harry and Ginny have their mother's eyes!




And of course they'll make them talk throughout the movie, I bet they'll make a lot of staring from Harry's part too while he leaves Ron and Hermione bickering alone somewhere... maybe when he first sees her he'll be like "whoah is that Ginny?!" ...that would be funny and cute...

You laughed at that too?! Yes, i'm not alone! I could hardily eat my skittles because i was laughing so hard, and my dad must have thought i had gone crazy or something ... i always thought i had a strange sense of humour.

Asuming they put the "Harry spying on the Slytherins" scene on the Hogwarts express in, i think it'll have the whole "Want to find a compartment?" convo. It's one of the first times Harry's been annoyed that she isn't around them any more ... for-shadowing, anyone?

I can just imagine Bonnie prancing around immitating Fleur like in the book ... hope they put that in ...

Me too! I think the way they'll do it, is that they will have quite a bit of talk at the start about Quidditch, which I am happy that it's included in HBP, or whatever else. Then Harry crushing on her, then them getting together.

I've always found the expression "crushing on someone" rather funny. My dad said "mom" last night instead of "mum" and me and my sister were in hysterics ... that's world culture for you ...

But yeah, hmmm ... I can see Harry talking to Ron and Hermione at the Burrow when he first arives, and Ginny sticking her head in going "I honestly don't believe that woman-she's always treating me like a little child! Oh hi Harry." and sitting down. Hermione'll comfort her, Ron'll defend Fleur, Fleur will come in, then Ginny'll be like once she's left "Well i'm off to plan my beautiful wedding to my wonderful husband-to-be, and to annoy the hell out of his younger sister!" and will twirl off with harry and co laughing. Well, not so much Ron.

Eh, well, something along the lines of that. Not exactly like that, but you get my drift. I liked this scene in the books, one because iw as so hapy that harry's wizard angst was over, and that Ginny was talking heaps more. Awsome.

That would be so perfect Moon! And when Ginny enters Harry could be like all awkward and blushed with only Hermione noticing since she was the one giving him the knowing looks... And Ellen, is Quidditch really going to be in HBP?!?! OMG I miss Quidditch so much! It'll be good to have some of it again...!

Moon it's so good to know I'm the only freak in the world who laughs at everything! When friends suddenly start crying in front of me I feel the urge to laugh, but not because I find it funny or anything but because I get a bit nervous and when I do I laugh... with one of my best friends we were watching SS and we would pause the movie at random times and laugh at their expressions...yeah we have a lot of free time...OFF TOPIC.

I found a HG icon which I think it's so amazingly cute...my avatar you see? I loved that part and when I saw that in the film I was like "there's a treat for HG icon makers!" lol!

Oh and don't worry-me, my sister, my friends, Becca and Courtney were all watching PS, and when it came to the part when they go to hagrids hut and at the same time they say "We know about the Philosophers (sp) stone!", our convo went a bit like this:

TV: We know about the philosopers stone!

Courtney: Oh yeah, like they'd all really say that at the same time ...

Me: yeah.

Becca: Wouldn't it be funny if two of them said it but, i dunno, Hermione of something went and said something else?

Courtney: We know about the philosophers-I'M A SAUSAGE!

*three of us crack up laughing, sis trying to make us shut up*

We ended up coming up with random things for them to say for the rest of the movie ... now whenever we see that part, we have to yell "Im a sausage!"

Hem-hem, back on topic though ...

I hope Quidditch will be in the movie. If not, they'll ahve a hard time trying to find a way for Harry to kiss Ginny ... nah, they'll either cut the actual Quidditch playing scenes, but still have the after-party, or not at all and have Harry kiss her on a mear impulse.

But all-in-al, we still get a kiss.

As far as I know, cristi. I know I read it somewhere. I think that pretty much all is happy to see Quidditch come back, for one last time ::fake crys::.
Muggs, I like the pharse "crushing on someone." ::shrug:: I'm sure that they'll have Ginny be funny and firey, or I hope. I love that sceen too, in the book.
I don't think "mom" is funny, but I live in the states, so I guess it wouldn't be funny to me. My cousin and I always seem to find something or other to laugh about. Like something we saw on youtube, or my sister and her laugh at the pharse "bread closet." Which isn't funny to me.

I find it quite funny-many terms used somewhere, may mean something totaly different somewhere else. I teand to find these different terms either strange or freakin' hilarious (sp?)

I agree Ellen-Quidditch must make a come-back, because i miss Quidditch terribly like Cristi. If only if only we could play it, but i guess flying's out of the question unless someone knows how to defy (sp?) gravity ...

But surely Quidditch is some-what important when it comes to H/G? I mean, without Harry's ... um ... well, did he make a snap-decision that "now's the time!" or was it a mear impulse because he was so glad that they had won ? I'd like to go with the latter ...

Well, english is not even my first language so I wouldn't know what's funny and what's not...hee hee...but there's some sayings in Spanish that when you translate them into english you get something really out there! But hey...I think the word "pasties" is funny..."two pumpkin pasties, please?" HAHAHAHAHAHA...*cough*

Quidditch HAS TO come back...it's the last time we'll see it! And Ron and Ginny need a chance at it... and Moon, I think Harry kissing Ginny was a mix of the two things... I think he was like "YAY! we WON! Oh, here she comes...ok just do it!" or maybe he wasn't even thinking! I only hope they keep it like that, her running toward him because of something fantastic that just happened...not like...Ginny running out of the Great Hall randomly and Harry "ok...here I come!" and kissing her and...ugh...no...

"Ricka racka, ricka racka, geht die Muehle mit genacka." That sounds like poetry in German but in English it's "ricka racka, ricka racka, went the mill with cracking." I guess it's like Shakespeare and how he translates. The line I typed is from a Max and Morris story, a very famous German children’s story about naughty kids who kills chickens and get ground up in a mill at the end of it. Then their pieces get eaten by ducks. Ah, German children’s stories. But seriously they're always really violent, you get that if you ever crack open the Grimm's fairy tales.
Okay, on topic, Quidditch would make Ginny and Harry's kiss make more sense. And Rupert wants so much to film Quidditch and Ron over coming his insecurities and winning is such a great moment for him, they can fit that easily in HBP.

Yeah, i felt sorry for Rupert, he really wanted to do Quidditch and they cut it out ... but hopefully they'll see H/G as an important enough reason to keep it in. It wouldn't be that difficult to keep it, really ...

I've come to the conclusion that Harry was so over-come at winning, that he wasn't thinking straight, and thought "Right-this girl i like is running at me-kiss her!" And bam-he did it. And it paid off i guess ... Lol.

They simply have to have quidditch in the sixth movie. It sets up the H/G relationship so nicely, because Harry really gets to know Ginny by playing quidditch with her, not to mention its because of the final quidditch match that they finally kiss! I really hope that they have quidditch, otherwise I'll be heartbroken!

Quidditch will be there...Yates really wanted to have it but the guy who wrote the script had to cut it out...but now that the old writer's back, we'll sure have at least a glimpse of it...

I can't wait for HBP! I really can't...I think I'll die of anticipation if that's possible... I really want to see HG! We've never seen much of it so it is very exciting!



Haha,that made me giggle! Now that you say it, I think that's what really happened, but hey why was Ginny running at Harry? Because of Quidditch! That's why Quidditch has to make it to the movie...maybe not exactly the match, but you know what I mean...as #1_pottergirl said, it sets up the relationship very nicely!

Hey, you like her, what else are you suposed to do? I think it was one of those times that all logic comepletly fly's out the window.

I am really wondering what Yates will do with H/G. He played on the R/Hr so nicely that i thought that "Ok, they haven't only gotten a new director-they've replaced the script writers, and basicaly everyone, with die-hard R/Hr fans!". If Yates can do that, then i'm sure we'll get H/G.

Yeah... Yates is clearly a RHr shipper and since he gave HG "forshadowing", then he's a HG shipper too (okay, not exactly shippers like us...but you know what I mean... ) I just read that the Ootp DVD will have like 10 minutes of deleted scenes...that will be so cool, I can't wait!!

How else could they do the kiss without Quidditch?...Hmm... I really don't know! I can't come up with anything... but I'm not worrying too much, I'm sure Quidditch will be there!

Bored, yes. I've been doing science homework on rocks for two hours. That's why i'm here on VTM-to get a break (and to stop myself from going insane! I mean, rocks?)

I can't wait to see the deleated scenes. They're like, the main things i like seeing on special features, that and blooper reels. They're brilliant.

Ok, i'm rather bored, so i'm going to share a H/G fanfic i read-i personally love it. It is called Breaking The News and reeeeeeally funny. It's rated K+ (or 9 years or older) There's a R/Hr counterpart called "Oh, Ron".

Both are freakin' hilarious.

Cristi, I talked about the German stories, because there was the topic of how stories translate. I was saying that they don’t sound the same.
Yeah, I’m sure Yates will do fine by H/G, but for the most part it’s up to Dan and Bonnie to make the audience believe it.
Moon, rocks really? That sounds like tons of boring fun.
I can’t think about how they’ll do the kiss without Quiddicth either.
