Actually I wasn't blown away by Dan's chemistry with Katie, but I suppose it's not really can't get "great love" from that relationship. And he was so good in GoF will longing after Cho, he was so sad and sweet.

Ok, it's just this handwritten piece of paper, but it reveals not only Draco's, Percy's, Ron and Hermione's, Fleur and Bill's, Luna's, and George's kids, it also shows us Harry and Ginny's kids middle names: Albus Severus, James Sirius, and the cutest (at least for me ): Lily Luna...how cute is that?! Such a dear friend of both Harry and Ginny..I thought it was cute

I totally agree cristipotter. Dan has grown as an actor and he's done a number of romantic scenes, so he should be able to pull it off, and although Bonnie hasn't gotten to stretch her acting muscles, I have complete trust in her. Besides, I'm sure they'll want to do the whole scene justice to JK's writing.

I've been hoping that was it for agggeeesss! I know, i already went on about this on th R/Hr thread, but it wasn't enough!

I'm so happy Harry and Ginny have three kids! And I know that Ginny is really understanding and all that, and I'm sure liked Sirius and all, but when I read that Albus' middle name was Severus I was thinking, 'Well, James' must be Sirius....and then what's Lily's? Where's ginny's pick?" and there it is! Yays! Lily Luna...that's just so adorable!

And I guess this proves Luna and Dean don't get together...at least not for life.

So Charile had no kids, huh, and Draco ended up with some stranger who was never mentioned in the series. ::shrug:: You know, for me, personally, I almost don't like that JK is telling us all the details about their lives post-Voldermort. I just think that this is what fan fic is for, to fill in the blank now that the story is over, not to say people haven't done that anyway.

I was more excited that James' middle name was Sirius, because I was surprised when reading the epilouge that Harry hadn't used his name for any of his children, but seeing that he indeed had used Sirius for James' middle name made me happy.

I also really liked seeing Lily's middle name be Luna because that just shows how close Luna has become to Harry and Ginny!

I think James Sirius is so cute too! Wow I can already picture that kid being the teacher's nightmare and doing all the pranks and things that both James and Sirius did in Hogwarts, after all, he did steal the Marauder's Map from Harry's desk!

That's one thing I don't really get is why Harry didn't give the Map to his kids. I think that the James would want his grandchildren to cause a bit of trouble at school.

I saw December Boys finally. It was really pretty boring until the last 30 minutes of the movie, then it got much better. Not blown away by Daniel's performance with a girl again, but it was his first kiss on screen. Oh Daniel, please don't let me down.

Lily Luna is just ... gorgous. Ever since i hear, i've been calling her LL. Which is very sad, as she's a fictional character we know pratically nothing about. I'm guessing that Ginny chose it.

I find it strange una had to marry this Rolf dude. In my eyes, she married Neville as Rold throws himself off a veeeery high clif with sharp rocks at the bottom. i can be rather violent when i want to.

I sometimes wonder why Hary didn't give his kids the map as well. I mean-surely it'd be one of those things that you'd just pass on to the next generation of marauders? Ah well-at least James stole it. I can tell he's going to be a fine marauder.

Where does it say Harry didn't give the map to his kids? Are we assuming again? I think he would've given James it his first year. Or, he would've just kind of...left it there. At Hogwarts, I mean. After his 7th year. James would've liked them to have it, but think about it. James left the map at Hogwarts, too. Actually, they all decided on it because they all made it. But I think if Sirius, James, and Lupin were to chat while watching down on James' son, they'd agree they'd want James' grandson or daughter to use it, too.

I've just gone in circles, haven't I? *shrug* Oh well, I think James would end up finding it, one way or another. I also view Fred (George's son) as being good friends with James, too, if they're in the same age rang.

A couple of weeks after DH came out, JKR did a webchat with fans were they could ask her any question they wanted, and one asked which child did Harry give the Marauders Map to, and she suggests that James stole it from Harry's desk. The web chat is right here,
and the question appears about halfway through.

In my mind, I could see Harry maybe hinting to James about the Map, and making it obvious were he keeps it, so that James can "obtain" it on his own. But I can only imagine the trouble that kid would get into with a name like James Sirius, because honestly, look at his namesakes!

I can see Harry wanting to give the map to James, but Ginny not letting him, so he'd be all like *wink, wink, nudge nudge, the map is on my desk* or maybe he just wanted them to be well behaved students I mean, every parent wants that...right?

It's just all those scenes remind me of how much HG we've been missing. Harry's a lot braver than me-if i was faced with a snake that big, i'd go "... EEEK!" grab Ginny and run.

I agree Cristi. When i looked at that picture, i realized that there were quite a few moments that (and i quote the wonderful Marta) show the journey from harry and Ginny to Harry and Ginny.

I really hope they include Harry/Ginny without making it seem really cheesy. If done wrong, the whole, 'I can't be with you' thing can look even stupider than it was (on Harry's part), And if they make Ginny cry when he's breaking up with her.... that's just...just so wrong!

I'd also love to have a sort of Harry talking with Ron about it scene. If done right, I think it could be really funny. And It wouldn't have to take up much time, either.

So, I finally rented Ootp and watched it! I love the little bits they show of Ginny being all jealous, and the little hints for their relationship. I didn't notice this in the theater, but when Ginny joins the group listening to the extendable ears, Harry looks up at her and gives her a little smile, and then she smiles back! *squee*

Pottergrl, i've noticed that. (I like the avatar, by the way). Like, when Harry wants to go talk to Cho (before the kiss) they have a sort of longer-than-normal shot of Ginny looking back at them with a sort of worried look.

And when Hermione's going "She couldn't take her eyes off you" Ginny is all "why, why, why would he like her?!".

I think this was David Yates' subtle way of saying "Yes there's going to be HG later on. Deal with it" sort of thing. (Well, not that forceful, but you know what i mean).

I noticed that too the first time I saw it Pottergrl! SO CUTE I noticed it because the movie had spanish subtitles and he whispers "Hey Ginny!" and she says "hey!" ... *squeeee* that's the crazy HG shipper in me!

And yes it was really subtle, all of those moments Ellen mentioned, HG was also subtle in the books, so I guess it was ok! and I can't wait to see them finally together... You read what MTV said about HBP??

It's the first thing they say because in the eyes of the media, everything is about Harry Potter in the movies. Him and him alone. The other characters aren't taken into as much concidaration as in the books. The wizard media in the books agrees that everything is about Harry Potter, too. Anyone else notice this?

Yeah, it's true, the movies are the Harry Show. But something that's interesting to me, when Dan is on screen, he never tries to steal the scene or grab the attention by over acting. So you know there are other people around, even if the media doesn't act like it.
I guess as the months go on, we'll get a better feel, with pictures and clips, just how H/G will be on screen. I can't wait for our first promotional picture of theme in the same frame.

Your Right. Dans great. The media try to prtend like he isnt but he is. Cant wait till November when we can test that theory

It's true, because the media is always like 'Harry Potter's next adventure!!' and yes, it is about Harry, but he shares it equally with Ron and Hermione and even the DA's sextet. So that's why people who are not in the media actually notice them. I love that about Dan too, Ellen!

Oh and I can't wait for HG ! We've only gotten the HBP sneak peek, so I wish I could see more of them... I hope it is great!

Yes, the movies are not all about Harry (Though they technically are). There are other character's too. And i can't wait to see this movie (mainly because if it's as good as OotP then i think we'll all enjoy it)

a lot of the young actors in the hp movies have got their heads screwed on straighter than some other young celebrities. I respect them for that, and it doesn't ruin my view of them as people when I watch the movies, you know?

Alright! I have FINALLY seen that sneak peek of HBP with sound! HA! It looks like Ginny DOES kiss Harry, and then sort of rushes out. But that doesn't mean it has to be THE kiss of HBP. In fact, it's really made me think it's just being used to make Harry realize he's in love with her. Which I may or may not like, depending on how it's done.

Ron entering Qudditch in movie six? Ugh. I can accept it, if they do it right.

But what about Hermione? For the love of GOD, don't let Emma keep her hair that way for the part! Nothing on Emma, she looks very good with that hair color. But Hermione? SO un-like her! It won't be Emma's fault if they don't fix it for the part. It can be done over her real hair, or temp dye, or something. It's been done before plenty of times! I just don't see why the heck they keep over-looking Hermione hair-wise. It does matter....

You can really see the tease in the video. They show her approaching, and then cut it off when she's about a foot away from him, and then they show her backing away from him like they've just kissed, and then her walking out all shy-like and Harry with this sort of '...what just happened?' face. Not that it looks like a dis-satisfied face! Anywho, as long as it's done well, I'll be happy. I still stand by the fact that they should've had more Ginny in movie 5, because they could've easily let it be believable for her to start snogging Dean in movie 6.

Off topic: Is anyone else from America here? Because I've started thinking words like 'snog' and 'ginger' and 'you lot' (even saying them more) since Harry Potter. Ginger actually is a very English term. I told my mother about it and she didn't know what the heck I was talking about.
