Here is the thread to discuss all things Hermione! She's the one person who has stuck with Harry throughout the entire book. So, what do you think about her role in this book? Did she live up to your expectations?

I personally thought she could have been a bit more supportive of Harry when he was hooked n the Deathly Hallows idea. It annoyed me that she was so interested in the story to begin with but upon hearing it from Luna's dad that it was real she didn't like it anymore.

I was highly amused at her tirade to Ron when he came back. I wasn't expecting it. I thought she'd break down and go all girly, so her anger was brilliant.

The part where she explained what she had to do to her parents was heart-wrenching. I felt so bad for her! You could tell it hurt her but she had to protect them, I respect her for that. Her magical skill seems to have increased greatly since HBP and we can only assume she's practiced a fair bit.

What are your thoughts about this extraordinary witch?
blackdiamond23
she's a true woman of my own heart! biggrin.gif

quick witted, loving, determined, ORGANISED!
i would love a special "Mary Poppins" bag like hers!

i'm very glad her culinary skills improved, otherwise she might as well have poisoned them all! laugh.gif

I just had a quick question about Hermione:

» Click to Show Spoiler - Click Again to Hide... «
I was just wondering about that. Otherwise, Hermione was great in this book just like all of the others.
Triad
No, it's Jean. HPLexicon has all the info you could ever want or need and on there it says Jean, and in the book it's Jean so there we are.

Kind of an odd middle name when you consider her first name. I'd never even heard the name Hermione til the HP books. Didn't even know how to pronounce it til I read GoF. It was never said in the books what her full name was hey? Kinda strange thats he left it til the very end. Oh well.
condobob
I just went to the HP lexicon website and apparently in 2004 J.K. Rowling said Hermione's middle name was Jane but changed it in book 7 so Hermione and Dolores Umbridge wouldn't have the same middle name. I thought that was a little unusual. Thanks.
Seriouslysirius
Hermione was fantastic in this book. She stuck with Harry everywhere. Even to Godrics Hollow. Which was scary. With the Snake. I don't think Harry wold have survied without her. She really had some impressive spells and ideas up her sleves. She was fantastic.

I'm am glad she finally let her feelings for Ron true. But it took along time her outburst at Ron in the tent was great and very true.

She was true to Harry all the while. I'm glad she got her chance to put all her iideas into practice.
Voyager
I loved Hermione's relationship with Ron and how they interacted throughout the book. My favourite scene was how she described what she did to her parents to protect them, that was very a emotional part for me.

I thought she was a little annoying when she kept insisting about Harry's wand didn't do anything, that it was Harry and that she didn't beleive in the Deathly Hallows after all that time, but that's often how she's been throug the whole series really.
Layla
Hermione did great in Deathly Hallows. She stuck with Harry all the way, even when Ron ran away from them.
And when he came back...wow...ha, she called him an arse! That was amazing! I loved when she said that she hadn't ruled out the birds attacking him.
And when they kissed...with Harry yelling in the background...made me laugh out loud.
When Harry told Ron that Hermione cried for a week after he left...and it was all great.
Well, Hermione did fantastically...she knew all this magic about instating all the bariers around them...and horcruxes. If it hadn't been for her, they wouldn't have made it.
SlytherinHeadGirl05
I LOVED Hermione in this book, all for the part though was when she was annoying about the whole Deathly Hallows and such. In a way it was good that she was there to keep Harry focused on the Horcuxes because that was what Dumbledore wanted him to do, not go searching for the Hallows, so that gives her a point. But how she didn't listen to Harry's instincts when his instincts are what have always kept him alive (besides luck and help of course) his instincts have always been right, ...uh i think? blink.gif Like HBP he followed his instincts about Draco and look what happened, neither of them (mione and ron) believed him! So wanting to go to Hogwarts, wanting to find the hallows and her always shutting him down with comments or telling him no it would be got kind of annoying.

The kiss! *grins* well if you think about it, there were two kisses involving Hermione if you think about it. Yes i know one wasn't the real hermione, but as i read that part, I'm sorry to all of you out there, I heard the shippers for Hermione and Harry grin or squeal in delight. ( i'm a fangirl for anime and manga if any of you know what that is, so that is why i use that phrase and wording. fangirls go completely gaga for their couples, so i swear i'm sorry if i offend anyone!!) but that's what i heard as i read it and i kind of chuckled. but what harry said afterwards *grins even more* i was so frickin happy! and then finally their kiss, although i had to think about WHY hermione even kissed ron in the first place was beyond me for a second. then i re-read the paragraph. the house-elves, he who teased and taunted her about SPEW finally felt sympathy towards the elves!

Her mother and father, what she did was kind of sad. I couldn't believe she could do that. *sighs* in the end, Hermione proved to be a powerful witch. She IS a powerful witch and i just wish JK had said what the 4 parents had become after hogwarts!!!!!!!! *pouts* All in all Hermione was great and very strong throughout this entire book. GO HERMIONE!!!!!!
HP_RULES!
I am sooo happy with Hermione! I thought that in HBP Hermione's character degressed a lot and she kind of became nothing more then a lovesick puppy, but Jo really redeemed her character. I too was happy when she got mad at Ron instead of falling all over him and all. She was truly brillant! Just everything she did, sticking by Harry through everything and what she did with her parents, wow! Her character is definitely impressing!!!

I actually thought that it was very Hermione of her to lose interest after she heard the story from Luna's dad. She was never too fond of anything he believed to be true so she probably thought that if he believed it then it must be more of his craziness.
twiggysun
My respect for Hermione has only grown after this book. She really is a tough girl.
She was amazing in this book and I loved the way she stood by Harry, even though Ron left.
Harry wouldn't have made it without her, I'm sure of it!(this actually goes for Ron too...Harry needed both of his friends)

I agree. It's one of Hermione's flaws that she has very little imagination. Back to [the movie] Sorcerer's Stone where she says "Books and clevernes..." She's human, she has her prejudices, and she's very scientific. If there's no proof, it's not worth her time or energy.

Her sheer lack of imagination is what kept Harry on track, just as Dumbledore wished. Maybe a reminder that sometimes our flaws are our biggeset strengths?

I did particularly enjoy the attention she gave to Ron after she'd forgiven him. Sure, he was supposed to have spattergoit, but I think a big reason for cloaking him was not that but to keep him safe. She wanted to protect him - and he felt the same way. I've always thought they belonged together, but now we can see them in a light where they're equals, too.

I agree completely I was very surprised! I expected her to run into his arms and confess her love or something similar. I also was so glad that her S.P.E.W. ideals became realistic. Not just something lost in translation between muggle and wizard culture.

It also surprised me that her spell broke Harry's wand. There were plenty of different ways to write Harry's beloved wand breaking, but it was Hermione who did it. I just thought it was different.

However brilliant I thought she was, I still firmly believe she cried too much.

I've always loved Hermione, and I really loved her in this book, too.
She was brilliant, and I don't think Harry would have made it without her, she got everyone out of some really tough spots.
Now that I look back, I like the part when Ron comes back, too, though honestly, at the time, I was so suspicious of everyone and her reaction was so extreme, I thought she may be under the Imperius curse or affected by the Horcrux!
She is such a tough character, and although I knew she was brave, this made me more sure she, even through the extent of her intelligence, is a true Gryffindor.
hermiones twin
I love her! She is such an amazing character!! Strong, fierce, smart, shes just got it all!

I loved her rationality in this book and how she was always the one with the cool head. But I also liked reading about how, particually in this book, she had her moments where Ron supported her. This shows how she really does have both personality sides.
hermione/emmafan
I loved hermione in this book!
It was so sad when she was telling us about what she did to her parents!
She is just so smart and stuff
It was really sad when like Ron left and she was all upset and running after him. very sad. sad.gif

When i read that her middle name was Jean, i was like OH MY GOSH! thats MY MIDDLE NAME!! ( i know, very old fashioned, but heck, i can't change it) yeah, that was quite cool.

I love hermione she's definatly my favriote character. She was so loyal in this book and stuck by harry evne when she wasn't agreeing with him and when ron left. honestly i don't think she should have time crying over ron mad.gif however when ron came back that was just brilliant. I loved the way she start punching him and being angry. He deserved that. I'm glad she wasn't all girly and went flying into his arms. What she did to her parents really impressed me. It takes a really tough and selfless person to make their parents forget about them to protect them. i think she could have been a bit more supportive about the hollow's. But that's hermione, it isn't logical so it can't be. She was really amazing in this book and was extremly clever w/ her spells
hermione rox
I simply loved Hermione in the Deathly Hallows, how she stuck by Harry, how she cried when Ron left (it really showed how much she cared about him) and how she was so clever enough to save Harry.
Even though she broke his wand, she still played a significant character in the story.
Without her, Harry might have not even survived.
I loved her fiery attitude when Ron came back, it showed that yes, she seems more like a mellow person, but she can also blast off her rocker.
She is my favorite character, I thought it was rather funny when she shipped her parents away to Australia. It was clever as well because she obviously doesn't want people to go after her or her parents. It was very very sad when she was running after Ron and he was gone, because it shows they're meant to be! haha.
gryffindorgirlie
I think hermione Granger is one of the most important female figures of all time. Actually scratch that, she is the MOST important one. Forgett margaret thatcher, forget Opera winfrey. She is the best. the way she behaved toward Ron when he came back, , how smart she is... evrything adds up. LONG LIVE HERMIONE GRANGER!

She was the best in the book I think! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Hermione was GREAT! She stuck with Harry all the way through, even when Ron left. It was sad when she cried but it showed that she really cared for Ron.
About the Hallows, it is good that she kept Harry from them because think of how good he was without them. He probably learned a bit being held back, since if he went for them he could become more obsessed than he already was.
It was so brave of her at the Malfoy's! She took the cruciatus curse for them (helping stall and save them), that showed how tough she was.
Ahh, the kiss. It took me completely by surprise, which is good because no one could of seen it coming. It was brilliant, because she was probably overwhelmed with feelings for Ron after he thoght of going to the CoS then caring for the house elves! She just burst and kissed him "full on the lips".
What she did to her parents must have taken a lot. That shows she is a true Gryffindor.
Probably my favorite character because she thought of so much as well as helped a whole lot. biggrin.gif
hermione rox
I nearly cried when they were at the Malfoy's and Hermione was being tortured by Bellatrix.
It was just so sad because I had no idea what could've happened to her and how worried Ron was.
But she was very noble to even think of sacrificing herself for her friends. smile.gif
cindy8221
I think Hermione really stepped up to the plate in this book. I wasn't really too annoyed with her not supporting the Hallows idea but really Hermione is still herself. She changed a lot and helped a lot in the spellwork. I'm happy she was angry with Ron when he came back but also that she stuck by Harry the entire time.

I think she and Ron was very happy now and its so cute how their kids are. Ron's like if you marry him (Scorpius) we'll disinherit you. You could see she(Rose) understood he was just messing. Also I loved James. Ginny is like you are so like Ron...lol I kept forgetting they were all related. Its so cool the Trio literally is connected now! Hermione seemed like a sensible mother to me in the end. I think she always loved a funny man, someone to much like her wouldn't suit I think. tongue.gif
FleurDelacour
hermione is really well written! id love to have a bag like hers! She is smart, wise and sensible! i wish i could be more like her! I like how she dint freak out when everything went wrong she just kept her head!

I have to say that I absolutely LOVE Hermione. She is so strong and smart, I'm almost positive that Harry wouldn't have made it to the end if she wasn't there. I absolutely love her friendship with Harry. They have such a stong bond. I love how she stuck with Harry even after Ron left and that she stuck with him through eveything that happened. I thought that her relationship with Ron seemed kind of awkward, but I still loved them together. One of my favorite scenes in the book was the one at the cemetary at Harry's parent's graves. I loved how she supported him at the graveyard and how she took care of him after the battle with the snake. I really love their friendship with each other.

I thought Hermione rocked it [u]out[u] in this book she was fabulous. I thought everything she did was very character true. The part about the Deathly Hallows and how she told Harry to leave it was exactly how she acted in HBP with his Draco obsession. She was wonderful but she didnt have ever answer which is great because if she would have known everything i think it would have been such a cop out. But i was so thankful for her when ron left and she went to Godrics hollow or else HArry wouldnt be alive. She showed her Gryffindor flair but was also shown a sad side (with her parents). She was amazing she has alsway been one of my top ten favorite chaqracters but now she is definitely top 5!!!

I thought that Hermione played her part splendidly in the Deathly Hallows. I was glad to see what I think of as "typical" Hermione - thinking of everything and always there with support and knowledge. One thing I would quibble with though is how often she teared up, sometimes at unwarranted things. I've always come to admire her as a strong female character, not as strong as Ginny perhaps, but still very able. She definitely showed this quality through her actions, so I think that some of the crying was a bit out of place and contradictory to this.

Rowling's choice of torturing Hermione was both clever of her and terrible at the same time, in that it struck the reader more painfully than it would have if they'd chosen Ron or Harry but Hermione was able to show how strong she was here and I liked that.
XxCeliaxX
I have always really liked Hermione as a charater, and she was really good in this book. I really thought she would kiss ron when he came back, but was delighted to see she was angry with him.

The only thing that annoyed me about her was she did cry quite alot.
etphonehome
I have always liked the character of Hermione, but was diappointed that JKR chose to marry her off with kids in the epilogue.

That was until I thought more about it. Hermione has always been the clever one, the one that you could imagine, if she hadn't been a witch, would have gone to Oxford to study law and become a barrister.

JKR said once that there was a bit of herself in Hermione, so I then started to think, ok, why can't Hermione be marrried to Ron, have kids and a successful career. I bet she's a specialist in wizarding law, the main bread winner in the new Weasley house hold. Hermione Weasley lol...sounds weird when you say it out loud! laugh.gif
HJP/HJG_TrueLove
Hermione was my favorite character in book 1-5 but then I think her character started changing and she is till probably my favorite character. I liked her better in DH than in HBP because she didnt seem at all like her self in HBP but in DH I think she got more of her old self back but I still wish we had the pre-HBP Hermione back. And I also fely very bad about what she had to do to her parents I wonder if she ever got them back it never said in the epiolouge.

Hermione's character has always been fascinating and that is why we love her so much. She is so smart, and was so smart too about love, which is unusual!! ( Athough maybe she got the being "swept off her feet" bit over with, with Krum.) As far as she and Ron, I think she knew Ron was the one for her long before he did. And she also understood that he took advantage of the friendship part (all the homework and organizing she helped them both with) and she also saw how quickly he decided to go out with Lavendar, just for snoggin basically!, and she understood that for this to be real she needed to wait for him to understand it. He would have just as quickly gone off snogging with her, but by having the relationship develope over the DH book, we could see Ron maturing and appreciating her and being able to express it in stages, which was very sweet and funny and awkward at times. The complement bits at the beginning was funny and rather obvious, and then when he leaves Harry, and also leaves her because of fear of her likign Harry, he starts to get more focused, I know this is about Hermione, just that she was so smart to wait. Wait for the real show of interest and care, girls, that's good advice from Hermione and Rowling. I think when she beat him with her fists when he returned was terrific, he had been an idiot and needed to know how upset she was. I think when she was being tortured and he couldn't help her is one of the most heart rending moments, he is so upset he can't think, while Harry is trying anything to get them out of there. (Now if it had been Ginny it might have been reversed, of course.) And the kiss was perfect, although as Harry says," is this the moment", one of the funniest bits. But Ron showed he cared about the house elves because he really cared, not because Hermine wanted him to. And that's why she kissed him then, she had it all saved up for him and then she knew it was time. The whole thing is so interesting to watch, and I remember the bit in HPHBP where Hermione has just helped mop ink off a spolied esssay of Ron's and Ron says" I love you Hemione" as a thank you and she blushes slightly becuase she knows Ron really does love her but also that he really isn't aware of it yet or ready to really mean what he is saying. And she waits for him to mean it, so it will be real. A great girl. And I liked what one person said above that she would like the funny man - I think that's right too - good balance. I'm sure she brought her parents back in a flash and they are happily enjoying their grandchildren. Oh, and I thought she needed to cry alot, she was going through a very hard time. So three cheers for one of the most brave and terrific girls since Eowyn and Dagny Taggart, and Dicey Tiller.

I agree here. Whenever hermione's convinced herself that's she's right, i just get annoyed somehow, like she needs to learn to be ... optomistic? See things from other's POV's? I dunno ...

But Hermione i liked in this boook. I've always liked Hermione, even if she hasn't been my favourite character (her bossyness and nagging got to me at some points). But Hermione stuck it out and in the end, pulled through. Let's face it-if Hermione wern't there, they wouldn't have gotten far.

I think her finest moment was when Ron came back. I was expecting her to go all girly on us and break down crying, but when she was just like-wham! Hahaaaa, i was laughing for so long. laugh.gif

Overall, i respect Hermione's brains, and really, if it wern't for her brillience, Harry probably wouldn't be alive (Or at least in a worse state than he was after the Graveyard scene in GoF) happy.gif
iluvviktorkrum
hermione was really heplful with harry;s adventure. i am really happy that she didnt leave and go with ron. but it annoyed me that hermione kept crying about every little thing that was emtional. Also hermione belreve that the hallows were real.
darthsith19
Her magic level is great and she is very clever. it was cool hoe she kept saving Harry's life. However, I find it dumb that Bellatrix was able to match Hermione, Luna and Ginny, 3 on 1. I mean, yes, Bellatrix is a very powerful witch, but so is Hermione, I'd have expected Hermione alone to give Bellatrix a good fight.
Killian
She was great in the Deathly Hallows, one of her biggest moments has to be when she stuck by Harry when Ron walked out on him. As Dumbledore said to Harry, he needed Hermione to calm him down, stop him from jumping into things too quickly, and that she did.

I feel that Hermione is a great asset and friend to Harry. But there are times where your just thinking "Hermione, just support Harry, he may be on to something".

But still, she is pretty much a sister to Harry, and like all siblings, they had disagreements but they still love eachother in a sibling way! I'm a Ron/Hermione Shipper.
hippogriffchick
Hermione kicked "arse" (as she called Ron). She was truly the brave one, when you know that Harry really doesn't have a choice but to hunt down and kill VM, Ron leaves, but Hermione stays true. WOW. Without her, it would not have been possible. I wonder what her and Dan will look like in the last movie: being stuck in a tent for a year! I have always wondered how she doesn't spend any time with her parents? She mentions in passing that she has them hiding, but she hasn't spent any real time with them since book 3? I'm glad that she is Harry's right hand man! You go girl!!!!!
*Priori Incantatem*
wow hermione was amazing in this book, she showed bravery and courage and she stuck by harry the entire time and for that she deserves respect!

i think what she had to do to her parents must have taken a great deal of emotional strength and when she was talking about it, it made me really emotional. i think shes deffinately been harry's 'rock' throughout the book.

oh and the whole her and ron thing was soo cute happy.gif and im glad too that when he came back she was angry, and she had the right to be, it wasnt what i was expecting but i liked that as well. and theres something that Arabella Doreen Figg said which i agree with

shes definitely one of the strongest characters in the series, especially in DH...and its no surprise, seeing as she spends all her time around 2 guys =)
i loved her in this book especially how her magical skills evidently had grown and she as a person grew... her courage and strenght was awesome and encouraging and i loved the fact that she didn't fall all over ron when he came back to them.. i admit that i expected her to jump on him and cry and be all happy..but she responded perfectly, not being such a girl and respond typically haha loved it
who wouldn't love her?
cristipotter
I've always loved Hermione Granger... I'm like her wannabe!

And in this book, she's proved to be a really powerful witch. I loved how she stuck with Harry, even though she had expected more and she felt horrible about Ron leaving. I really LOVED when Ron came back! I expected her to kiss him or hug him or something, and instead, she PUNCHES HIM! and calls him an arse! LOL! I was really scared then, even Harry was!

The kiss was just OH SO PERFECT! What a good reason to make them kiss: House Elves! It was amazing (RHr shipper all the way biggrin.gif )

And I think it was reasonable for her to cry so much: just look at her situation! I would personally...um...kill myself. I'm joking! LOL...I'll cry every single day and night imagining my parents might die anytime soon, not to mention myself and my best friends...yeah I'd be pretty emotional over everything, so I find Hermione's crying very understandable.

I have always been jealous of Hermione too...she gets to hang out every single day with Ron and Harry! mad.gif

LOL! I love Hermione, she's my favorite female character for all times!
harpy
Rowling developed her character really well in this last book. She was still very much the same Hermione from the beginning, but I think we saw her true strengths. Some of the things she thought of were just so brilliant. And she saved Harry's life too when she got them out of Bathilda's house. Lucky she apparates so well. I can't believe she was crucioed! that was really dark, i thought, but she held up amazingly. One of her best moments was when the trio are escaping from xeno's house and she makes it so that harry is glimpsed by the death eaters so that luna will remain safe. That was SUCH ingenious thinking. oh, and her beatin up Ron was perfect, i'm glad J.K. made her do that instead of running into his arms or something. I'm glad for Hermione in this book, I've actually grown to like her more from reading Deathly Hallows.
horcrux123
Hermione Granger what a character! Kept the trio working until the end so that they could find out what they had to do to defeat LV. Her and Ron got together in the right way! She is an awesome character and I love her to bits!!! tongue.gif One of the best characters ever to be invented besides Ginny, Harry and Ron of course!! biggrin.gif tongue.gif
annesches
hermione is a brilliant witch
she can even think straight even at times when she is so terrified

Like:
- she packs almost everything they needed in trackng down the horcruxes and their ultimate goal to end all evilness - LV in just a purse
- thinking of duplicating the locket so that umbridge will not notice that the necklace she was wearing was gone and she is in a state of panic
- thinking of hiding ron under the invisibility cloak and exposing harry instead so that they were assured somehow of the life of xeno; then again hermione exhibits pure ingenuity here
- when she still can made up a fantastic story about the sword of gryffindor that they found being a replicate during her torture by none other than bellatrix

these are just some of the extremely dangerous situations wherein hermione has shown her cleverness and courage smile.gif

So did I. I had thought that everything about the Deathly Hallows had fit into the story and was irritated that Hermione didn't think so only after she heard the story from Luna's dad. It made me think that she didn't want to believe it because Xenophilius said she was 'close-mided'

I had never expected Hermione to act that way when Ron came back. I laughed for five minutes because of it smile.gif It was a total change of emotion, different from what we were expecting. JK Rowling did a good job with Hermione in this book!

I could tell that it must have been hard for Hermione to deal with putting her parens into hiding, and I did feel bad for her. But she knew that she had to help Harry find the Horcruxes. It did seem that her magical skill greatened, probably because of all the practice she had over the summer and reading countless books.

All in all, Hermione was a great character in the Deathly Hallows (:

I think that both Ron & Hermione are great friends to Harry. But does anyone agree that Hermione is a slightly better friend than Ron? I mean, think about it. Ron & Harry hit it off a little bit before they accepted Hermione into the trio (even though it was only a short time) but anyway I would think Ron should be the better friend but I don't think he is. I mean the only time Harry and Hermione were ever really in a fight, if ever, was in book 3 and that was really Ron's fault (after Hermione told McGonagall about the firebolt) and Hermione only did what she did to keep Harry safe. In book 4 Ron fights with Harry. And in book 7 Ron leaves Harry for a bit. But Hermione always seems to stick by him. I don't know. Those are just my thoughts. I still think they're both great friends to him though...

P.S. Before book 7 came out didn't JKR say (in an interview) that Hermione's middle name was Jane? And now in book 7 its Jean...lol.

Yes, it came into my mind too. It was a shocking moment when Ron decided to leave them, but Hermione remained with Harry, she understood that he needed them in that really difficult situation. And it's true as well that she could always think practically, to plan everything and this helped them survive.

Even with her own sceptisism about certain situations she is there and goes along with it even if she is right!

I also hated the Bella 3 on 1 battle...I mean come on!

The Ron/Hermione thing was disgusting! I don't care what anyone says he really doesn't deserve her!
Unfortunately, this ruined the book for me as I had to browse through alot of the chapters in fear of bumping into Ron/Hermione 'awkwardness' or Ron's idiotic blatherings...thus missing important information!

Yes, it came into my mind too. It was a shocking moment when Ron decided to leave them, but Hermione remained with Harry, she understood that he needed them in that really difficult situation. And it's true as well that she could always think practically, to plan everything and this helped them survive.

Just goes to show how loyal a friend she is to Harry. Much more than her beloved Ronald. But, she may as well have left with Ron because all she did was cry ad nauseum for him. wacko.gif Not that Harry even noticed since all he did was mope about, pining for Ginerva. (gag and puke)

ok, i loved hermione in this book. she was great, and i loved her relationship with ron in this book. i liked that she was still mad at ron when he walked out, i was too! but in the end he redeened himself, and she bvasically 'rewarded' him for it. i loved their kissing scene in the end, when harry's like ;'theres a war goin on' and they just hold on tighter. great ron and hermione ending. but in my opinion, this wasd hermiones best book. she stuck by harry when he needed someone, and never gave up.

Hermione's role in this book was excellent, as always, she most deffinitly lived up to expectations with her quick-wits and smarts, she seems to be alot more skilled with magic (if that's even possible) in this book by what she did to her parents and all of the protective spells and charms she knew, and might I add all the R/HR stuff that was going on too wink.gif

I was shocked but amused at her reaction to when Ron came back, I deffinitly wasn't excpecting her to go all angry on him haha , when it was like "she moved like a sleepwalker towards him , her eyes on his pale face" or somthing similar I was like, yes ! this is the kiss !! but then she started puching him and i was like what the !

I agree with you, taintedlove-xx, I was too so much expecting that kiss when Ron came back, it was a bit shocking that HR was so angry... sleep.gif However it seems to me that she only pretended to be angry, I think she couldn't be like that really, isn't it?
But anyway, that kiss at the end was totally perfect, it was a little "recompense" for this. smile.gif
