There were, as usual, a number of chuckle-worthy moments in Deathly Hallows, though the most memorable for me right now was when Harry, Hermione and Ron were making their way through Hogwarts under cover of the invisibility cloak during the seige and they came across Draco pleading for his life at the foot of a Death Eater and Harry stunned the Death Eater and Ron snotted Malfoy one for the Slytherins cowardice and said - "And that's the second time we've saved your life tonight, you two-faced (er... so and so)" tongue.gif

Could I please ask everyone to have a look at this post by Louise, where she reiterates that strong language will not be permitted. If this thread continues to cause trouble, we're going to have to close it and that will be a great shame. Thanks for your cooperation!

There were quite a few funny parts for me.

*Trelawney throwing crystal balls. Who would have thought she had so much spirit!

*Molly using a curse word. Well for the love of her child she'd do anything. Classic line though.

*George being Saint like now that he's Holey. And Fred exclaiming that he could have used any other ear related joke and he chose that one.

I'm sure there's more but right now I can't remember them.......
Pixymajik
I have to say that the funniest moment for me was probably the 'Potterwatch'. I thought this was absolutely hilarious!

It was great to see Lee in a commentatory role again and I loved the humour that was added to such a brilliant idea to pass on serious news.

QUOTE
"For instance, this new idea that You-Know-Who can kill with a single glance from his eyes. That's a Basilisk, listeners. One simple test: check whether the thing that's glaring at you has got legs. If it has, it's safe to look into its eyes, althought if it really is You-Know-Who, that's still likely to be the last thing you ever do.'

And then the Snape and shampoo reference and Voldy being on a holiday. It was just awesome!
Albus Dumbledore
QUOTE
"Ooh, you look much tastier than Crabbe and Goyle, Harry," said Hermione, before catching sight of Ron's raised eyebrows, blushing slightly and saying, "Oh, you know what I mean--Goyle's potion looked like bogies."

Hahaha, that was great. Ron is so paranoid over her that its comical. Being a H/Hr shipper, I was hoping (along with the hand holding done in DH by Harry and Hermione) that this was the precursor to Ron and Ginny dying and Harry and Hermione consoling each other while entwined.. but obviously not. tongue.gif

I laughed at the ridiculousness of Hedwig's death, then almost immediately, grew sad. mellow.gif
Triad
OMG! I forgot Potterwatch!!! That was freaking hilarious!! I think I was laughing for a full ten minutes after the shampoo comment. Which for a line in a book is a long time! I loved how they took a funny look at the war, made it seem more comical then deadly. A nice touch. I'm going to have to read that again! smile.gif
charman_89
I thought the scene with Kreacher after he'd returned with Mundungus was highly entertaining, when Dung said that Sirius didn't want any of that junk anyway and Kreacher attacked him with a saucepan. Then when Harry told him to get off, Kreacher saying "Perhaps one more Master Harry? Just for luck!"
Triad
I forgot that one too!! Man I really need to re-read the book! Kreacher was classic! That was another part that had me in stitches.

I liked in the Epilogue how when James had gone through little Albus turns to them and asks if they'll write to him. That was so cute!!! Especially since he didn't want his brother knowing.
charman_89
Hows about during the debate when they told Harry there would be 7 Harry Potters during his departure from Privet Drive Fred saying "well none of us really fancy it Harry, imagine if something went wrong and we were stuck as specky spawny gits forever!" That had me in stitches laugh.gif
Rose Weasley
I LOVED George's corny ear joke! Really, it was just SO George! "Holy"-LMBO! Kreacher was flipping HILAROUS as was Potterwatch...just ingenius!
Abraxas
Dark though Deathly Hallows may be, there were some really funny moments. I'm afraid I can't think of any that haven't already been put down, but here they are anyway...

1. This first one hasn't been mentioned, I just remembered it :
QUOTE
He watched as his six doppelgangers rummaged in the sacks, pulling out sets of clothes, putting on glasses, stuffing their own things away. He felt like asking them to show a little more respect for his privacy as they all began stripping off with impunity, clearly much more at ease with displaying his body than they would have been with their own.

2.
QUOTE
"Pathetic," he told George. "Pathetic! With the whole wide world of ear related humour before you, you go for holey?"

3.
QUOTE
"Kreacher no!" shouted Harry. Kreacher's thin arms trembled with the weight of the pan, still held aloft. "Perhaps just one more, Master Harry, for luck?"

4.
QUOTE
"...the fact remains that he (Voldemort) can move faster than Severus Snape confronted with shampoo when he wants to ..."
Lauren0891
In such a dark book the humour really lightned up the whole book. I loved Fred and George. The whole saintly and holey business - great I also loved it when George said:

QUOTE
"Ah well," said George, grinning at his tear-soaked mother. "You'll be able to tell us apart now, anyway, Mum."

And after becoming Harry after the polyjuice potion:

QUOTE
Fred and George turned to each other and said together, "Wow - we're identical!"

Haha laugh.gif They crack me up. Whole wide world of ear related humour... Haha

Yeah Kreacher was funny! I loved that he turned out nice and not horrible and mean like he was in OotP and HBP. Haha One for luck..

Potterwatch was great too:

QUOTE
"I suppose it helps, when escaping from Death Eaters, if you've got a sixteen-foot-high half brother?" asked Lee
"It would tend to give you an edge," agreed Lupin gravely. "May I just add that while we at Potterwatch applaud Hagrid's spirit, we would urge even the most devoted of Harry's supporters against following Hagrid's lead. "Support Harry Potter" parties are unwise in the present climate"

Haha a Support Harry Potter party, I laughed my head off. I also liked:

QUOTE
"...Mind you,if all the alledged sightings of him (Voldemort) are genuine, we must have a good nineteen You-Know-Whos running around the place."

QUOTE
"For instance, this new idea that You-Know-Who can kill with a single glance from his eyes. That's a Basilisk, listeners. One simple test: check whether the thing that's glaring at you has got legs. If it has, it's safe to look into its eyes, althought if it really is You-Know-Who, that's still likely to be the last thing you ever do."'

Classic!

There were a great number of funny lines in this book, but, for some odd reason, the one part that had me in stitches was:

QUOTE
"Is this the moment?" Harry asked weakly, and when nothing happened except that Ron and Hermione gripped each other still more firmly and swayed on the spot, he raised his voice. "Oi! There's a war going on here!"
Ron and Hermione broke apart, their arms still around each other.
"I know, mate." said Ron, who looked as though he had recently been hit on the back of the head with a Bludger. "So it's now or never, isn't it?"

Was anyone else reminded of the scene in Pirates of the Caribbean III when Will and Elizabeth got married in the middle of a war with the 'now may be the only time' excuse?

The other part that cracked me up came a few seconds later.

QUOTE
"Never mind that, what about the Horcruxes?" Harry shouted. "D'you think you could just... just hold it in until we've got the diadem?"

That made me laugh, too.
beyond_the_veil
Surprisingly there were quite a few funny moments in DH but here are the ones that made me laugh.

-Trelawney dropping crystal balls on people's heads
-Mrs Weasley "Not my daughter you *thingy*
-McGonagall her hair down running around the school directing hordes of desks in battle
-Potterwatch

And finally Peeves song biggrin.gif

We did it we bashed them, wee Potter's the one
And Voldy's gone moldy so let's have some fun.
HarryPotterIsMint
All of the mentioned did make me giggle
but the main part that made me laugh even though i was in tears was the thought of Mrs Weasley shouting
'NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU [Mod Edited]
what a legend
i hope that scenes in the film, it will be amazing to watch!

Mod Edit: The No cursing Rule still applies! Go read the Rules.
PotterPeep
Hermione- Merlin's pants!

Ron- Merlin's saggy left-

But the funniest part was when Kreacher was hitting Mundungus with the frying pant. LOL
Voyager
Okay, my favourite lines were mainly from the ear jokes that Fre and George had, especially the 'holey' one. laugh.gif

I also loved the 'wow, we're identical' gag when they both drink the polyjuice potion.

I love Kreacher's line 'One more for luck, sir?' Just brilliant!

Another part I liked was when Filch came running into the halls calling that the children were out of bed. McGonagall's reaction was fantasic.
snapyourcrisps
One of my favorite lines was Mrs. Weasley before she killed Bellatrix. I loved that line....

Also the Merlins Pants. It was very random, yet funny. And George's ear! The holey jokes--those were funny!

Or when Ron and Hermione finally kiss, "Is this the moment?" asked Harry! Hah, I laughed for awhile after I read that.

Mod Edit: The No Cursing Rule still applies.
amarie.
I really thought that almost the entire chapter "the Seven Harry Potters" was to die for. Some faves:

QUOTE
"Well, none of us really fancy it, Harry," said Fred earnestly. "Imagine if we were stuck as specky, scrawny gits forever."
Harry did not smile.
" You can't do it if I don't cooperate, you need me to give you some hair."
"Well, that's the plan scuppered," said George. "Obviously, there's no chance at all of us getting a bit of your hair unless you cooperate."
"Yeah, thirteen of us against one blokes who'snot alowed to use magic; we've got no chance," said Fred.
" Funny," said Harry, "really amusing."

and then theres
QUOTE
...there were sic Harry Potters gasping an dpanting in front of him.

Fred and George turned to each other and said together, "Wow - we're identical!"

"I dunno, though, I think I'm still better looking," said Fred, examining his reflection in the kettle.

"Bah," said Fleur, checking herself in the microwave door, "Bill, don't look at me - I'm 'ideous."
typical Fleur.

Fleur was just full of jokes in DH:
QUOTE
Fleur walked over to stand beside him (Bill), giving him a soppy, slavish look htat Harry hoped with all his heart would never appear on his face again.

Ron's new sensitivity to girls is also amusing:
QUOTE
"Hold tight now, Ron," said Tonks, and Haryy saw Ron throw a furtive, guilty look at Lupin vefore placing his hands on either side of her waist.

His birthday present to Harry was to die for too! smile.gif

the Wedding had plenty of jokes as well.
QUOTE
"No," agreed Ron. " A brutal triple murder by the bridegroom's mother might put a bit of a damper on the wedding."

and
QUOTE
"when I get married," said Fred, tugging at the collar of his own robes, "I won't be bothering with any on this nonsense. You can all wear what you like, and I'll put a full Body-bind Curse on Mum until it's all over."
The second time I read the last one here, I wasn't as amused, because I was so sad about Fred's death. sad.gif

I also liked Kreacher & his frying pan, and Peeves self-composed song.
Annabelle Peyton
I truly love all of the funny moments already mentioned and have one of my own to add. I absolutely loved this scene between Snape and Dumbledore in The Prince's Tale:

"Are you intending to let him kill you?"
"Certainly not. You must kill me." There was a long silence, broken only by an odd clicking noise...
"Would you like me to do it now?" asked Snape, his voice heavy with irony. "Or would you like a few moments to compose an epitaph?"

Classic Snape right there laugh.gif
Felipe
All the ones mentioned were pretty funny...
Potterwatch and the 'shampoo' comment was hilarious!
Trelawney throwing crystal balls during the battle.
Hermione's comment about Harry being tastier!
Snape's irony when Dumbledore told him about his plans.
Kreacher's words toward Mundungus and his frying pan!

and some others I can't remember right now
twiggysun
The whole Snape and the shampoo thing was sooo funny.
Potterwatch was amazing... the twins are hilarious.
The book really needed the funny moments, it was far to emotional sometimes!!

And in the epilogue, where James can't believe Teddy is snogging Victoire, I thought that was funny too. A typical child at that age...
Amyrat151
I think I did laugh the most when Harry asked "Is this the moment?" to Ron and Hermione when they where kissing. I actually put the book down to laugh.
marrymerupert
I know many people have already mentioned it, but my favorite funny part was what George came to and said the 'holey' joke. It made me laugh and cry at the same time, just cause i love twins and i was so sad to think that George was gonna die, and then the first thing he says pretty much is a joke... classic. I also quite enjoyed Kreacher - i always thought he was hilarious though!
purple_peppermint_25
Well, along with all of the parts that everyone has already mentioned, I really liked the conversation that Harry, Ron & Hermione had with Scrimgeour about Dumbledore's will. He was taking it so seriously and they seemed to think it was a bit of a joke.

QUOTE
"Dumbledore wanted to give me the sword? Maybe he thought it would look nice on my wall."

This is not a joke Potter! Was it because Dumbledore believed that only the sword of Godric Gryffindor could defeat the Heir of Slytherin? Did he wish to give you that sword Potter, because he believed, as do many, that you are the one destined to destroy He Who Must Not Be Named?"

"Interesting theory. Has anyone ever tried sticking a sword in Voldemort? Maybe the Ministry should put some people on to that, instead of wasting their time stripping down Deluminators, or covering up breakouts from Azkaban. So is this what you've been doing, Minister, shut up in your office trying to break open a snitch?

I also loved the whole wedding chapter.

QUOTE

"I wish Uncle Bilius was still with us, though; he was a right laugh at weddings"
"Wasn't he the one who saw a Grim and died twenty-four hours later?"
"Well, yeah he went a bit odd towards the end."
"But before he went loopy he was the life and soul of the party. He used to down an entire bottle of firewhiskey, the run on to the dance floor, hoist up his robes and start pulling bunches of flowers out of his--"
"Yes, he sounds like a real charmer."
"Never married, for some reason."
"You amaze me."

But my favorite new character was undoubtably Aunt Muriel. She was just hilarious. Her many comments made the wedding.

"Your hair is much too long Ronald, for a moment I thought you were Ginevra."
"What is Xenophilius Lovegood wearing, he looks like an omelette."
"Another Weasley? You breed like gnomes."
"Not as gormless as he looks in press photographs, then."
"She's a good looking girl, but still..French."
"But I must say, Genevra's dress is far too low-cut."

And also when she said Hermione had skinny ankles and bad posture, and told George that his ears were lopsided.
owl
The scene with the seven Potters (for several things, e.g. when they were stripping without embaressment, the twins saw they were identical, Harry saw the expression on Fleur's face hoping it would never be seen on his face again, Ron finding out the thing with the hippogriff-tattoo was wrong etc.)

and Kreacher leading the elves into the battle against the Death Eaters

I also really liked Trelawney in the battle and when - in the middle of the battle - Hermione started kissing Ron when he expressed his worries about the elves.
Jacobi
I loved when Fred and George said "Wow, we're identical!" after transforming into Harry.
xForeverxLoyalxToxDumbledorex
i loved when kreacher was hitting mundungus with the pan and said:
'just one more master for luck'
classic!

molly weasley swearing and kicking bellatrix lestranges bum smile.gif

in the epilogue when ron told his son he would disinherit him if he was sorted into slytherin lmao! so ron!

at the begining wen they were taking the polyjuice potion to make 7 harrys
'well none of us really fancy it harry' said fred earnestly' imagine if something went wrong and we were stuck as specky scrawny gits forever'
haha classic twin coment made me laugh!

i cant think of any more at the moment

shall be back when ive re read!
Dora
The B-word by Mrs Weasley. First I was extremely shocked, then I nearly ****ed my pants of laughter.

and

"Don't worry, it's me, I'm incredibly famous" - Ron

and when Kreacher fainted when he got the locket as a present, lol
starla_dear
I don't have the book with me right this second, but one part that had me laughing out loud was the scene in which Ron saves Harry and they go back to the tent, because Hermione walks up to Ron, and I was convinced they would kiss, and instead she attacks him, oblivious to the fact that he just saved Harry's life. I'll try and find it later, as a description does not do it justice.
Ladie Lily Potter
I don't have the book with me right now so I'll take a stab at what parts made me give a chuckle:

-When George said he felt "Saint Like" because he was "holey" haha. That was great. After what he went through he was still able to make us laugh.

-When Kreacher said "One more just for luck?" When he was going to hit Mundungus over the head with the pan or whatever. That was funny. It made me appreciate Kreacher even more haha.

-When they're listening to the radio and Fred makes a comment about Snape and the shampoo. I laughed soo long and hard at that. For me, that was the funniest part of the book.

-Ron at the end saying "...It's me. I'm incredibly famous".

-Molly running at Bellatrix. It might not have meant to be funny but I supressed a single little giggle.

-When Harry saw the look on Fleur's face when she was disguised as him and said he hoped it would never appear on his face again. I can't wait to see that in the movie haha.

-Trelawny in the battle saying "I have more if anyone wants to use one" after she dropped a crystal ball on a death eaters head. That made me laugh out loud.

-When Ron and Hermione kiss and Ron's just like "now or never" or whatever it was. haha...brilliant.
kthnxCRUCIO
haha there were a bunch.

obviously mrs. weasley.

and when pansy was like, hes over there and the whole school stood up and turned on her. i loved that part.

and when mcgonnagol was like, herding the desks.
biggrin.gif
Layla
Let's see what I can remember...

--Kreacher whacking Mundungus with the frying pan
--Mrs. Weasley's all caps outburst at the end
--Trelawney launching her crystal balls.
--Fred and George...obviously
--Remus trying to cover up Percy's appearance by talking loudly to Fleur
--Ron's comment at the end about being incredibly famous
--Ron punching Malfoy and his comment about saving his life. That was one of my favorite lines.
--Harry yelling, "OI! There's a war going on!" when Ron and Hermione embraced...
--When the house elves came out of the kitchens during the way all holding knives and meat cleavers. I could picture all these little short things running around with pointy weapons...

Overall, I loved the book...
Vickylizzy
Most of the ones i loved have already been mentioned, the whole potterwatch bit, especially

QUOTE
"this new idea that You-Know-Who can kill with a single glance from his eyes. That's a Basilisk, listeners. One simple test: check whether the thing that's glaring at you has got legs. If it has, it's safe to look into its eyes, althought if it really is You-Know-Who, that's still likely to be the last thing you ever do."'

and

QUOTE
"...the fact remains that he (Voldemort) can move faster than Severus Snape confronted with shampoo when he wants to ..."

Ron and hermione kissing for the first time, and Snapes reaction to Dumbledors wish for snape to kill him:

QUOTE
"Are you intending to let him kill you?"
"Certainly not. You must kill me." There was a long silence, broken only by an odd clicking noise...
"Would you like me to do it now?" asked Snape, his voice heavy with irony. "Or would you like a few moments to compose an epitaph?"

And of course Mrs weasly going crazy at bellatrix, it was a light moment in a very heavy bit of the book!
Oh, and Kreachers reaction to Dung.

But there are two that havnt been mentioned i love. Both on harrys birthday. Firstly when he realises he can use magic freely and rearranges Rons room:

QUOTE
"I'd do your flies by hand though" Ron advised Harry, sniggering when Harry immediatley checked them.

Then after Ron has given harry his present, a copy of Twelve fail-safe ways to charm witches:

QUOTE
"Nice" said ron, as with one flourish of her wand Hermione turned the leaves on the crab-apple tree to gold, "Youve really got an eye for that sort of thing!"
"Thank you Ron" said Hermione looking both pleased and a little confused. Harry turned away smiling to himself. He had a funny notion he would find a chapter on compliments when he found time to persue his copy of Twelve fail-safe ways to charm witches.

The book was really dark and heavy, and the funny bits went a long way to countering this!
SlytherinHeadGirl05
QUOTE
"No!" he said loudly his voice ringing through the kitchen. "No Way!"
"If you think I'm going to let six people risk their lives...?"
"---because it's the first time for all of us/" said Ron
"This is different pretending to be me ---"
"Well none of us really fancy it, Harry," said Fred earnestly. "Imagine if something went wrong and we were stuck as specky, scrawny gits forever."
"You can't do it if I don't cooperate, you need me to give you some hair."
"Well, that's that plan scuppered," said George. "Obviously there's no chance at all of us getting a bit of your hair unless you cooperate."
"Yeah, thirteen of us against one bloke who's not allowed to use magic; we've got no chance," said Fred.

I kind of imagined Fred and George advancing on Harry whey they said this. All of them like taking a step closer and Mad-eye told them they would take the hairs by force if need be. lol!!!! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif tongue.gif

QUOTE
"Our only chance is to use decoys. Even You-Know-Who can't split himself into seven."
Harry caught Hermione's eye an looked away at once.

I know not funny, but it is in a way if you think about it. *shrugs* i laughed when i read it blink.gif

QUOTE
"Ohh, you look much tastier than Crabbe and Goyle, Harry!"

QUOTE
Fred and George turned to each other and said together "Wow ---we're identical!"
"I dunno, though, I think I'm still bettering-looking," said Fred examining his reflection in a kettle.
"Bah," said Fleur, checking herself in the microwave door, "Bill don't look at me--I'm hideous!"

God there's more but I'm getting hungry and i need food! lol
samsmom
I think you guys have hit them all! No one mentioned the code names of the Potterwatch crew... as if no one would be able to figure them out... Hee Hee!

Romulus = Remus Lupin (Romulus and Remus were famous brothers in Roman mythology )
River = Lee Jordan (the Jordan River is also famous)
Royal = Kingsley (a king is royal)
Rapier= Fred Weasley (for his rapier wit)

I also liked Lupin's comment "'Support Harry Potter' parties are unwise in the present climate."

I think my favorites were:

Fred and George "Look we're identical!"

Hermione beating Ron when he came back.

Hermione and Ron's ill timed kiss.

Trelawney dropping crystal balls on DE's.

Sprout and Neville bombing DE's with dangerous plants.

Potterwatch

McGonagall and Filch

and perhaps #1 would be Kreacher and the Frying pan... along with Harry's offer to let him continue hitting Dung if he didn't give them the answers that they wanted.

I didn't see Molly's "Not my daughter you...." as funny, just inspiring... GO MOLLY!!!!!! Never underestimate the power of a mother protecting her children!!!!!

I can definitely see these comic moments in the movie! They will be amazing!
fjkrs
Where Ron says at the end, "Don't let it worry you. It's me I'm extremely famous." Because all the kids were staring at Harry and company.

AHAHAHA. I love Ron.
a leafy tree
I cant believe no one mentioned the "Accio Hagrid" biggrin.gif .

That one had me laughing, even in that dire moment.
raydurz
Yeah Trelawney throwing crystal balls got a chuckle out of me. But I think the funniest part was finding out that the Chudley Cannons were in last place.
Bumblebee
Two that haven't been mentioned:

Hagrid : "DON'T KILL 'EM!" when everyone of both sides was attacking the sea of Acromantulas.

James : "Mum! I can't give a professor love!"

It's really wonderful how much humour there was in DH. Makes you really think that one ought never to forget the funny side of things -- it does make a big difference.
prongslover
Mine's deffinatly when George gets his ear cut off! Not that that's funny, but what he said:

"Fred im- Holy. Holey. Git it?"

Too funny, but sad at the same time.
fjkrs
Oh yeah! Also near the end when Cho offers to take Harry to the Ravenclaw common room and Ginny intervenes! Luna takes him and Cho looks, what was it, "dissapointed."

Aha. Ooh burn. xP
timeturner
i thought that one really funny moment was when Kreacher came attacking Mundungus with flying pots and pans and then asking if he can hit him one more time! that was so funny!!!!

timeturner
Mrs Figgy
It was fun just reading what you all have summarized. My favorites are always Fred and George, but I did laugh out loud to the Snape and Shampoo comment; how great. I already miss these books.
Kahlfinjh
I laughed at a lot of the scenes because although the book was very dark, it had it's comical moments that brought the spirit back up. Unfortuanately at the risk of sounding repetitive, I have to go for Molly Weasely in her moment of love and defense at the end of the book. It was bloody brilliant in my opinion. And definitely unexpected. Other humor like Potterwatch, came expectedly. Same with the display in the RoR. I knew it was all over after the house-elves comment.
lindchar
My favourites :

1. The 'Holey' and 'ear related humour' part

2. Mrs Weasley to Bellatrix [Mod Edited]

3. Fred and George - "Wow, we're identical!"

4. I really enjoyed Harry calling Voldemort by his real names. I found that really amusing, mostly because of the humiliation of Voldemort's part.

5. Potterwatch - was alright.

6. The Kiss betwenn Ron and Hermione. It was pretty epic. In the sense that it was Ron's sympathy for the house-elves, one of Hermione's seemingly trivial interests, that triggered it.

Mod Edit: We know what she says! There is no cursing allowed what-so-ever on this site! Please, for your sake, go and read the Rules.
her-my-oh-nee
I laughed at many parts of the book, but here are my top two:

During Potterwatch when Fred objects to being called "Rodent": "I'm not being 'Rodent,' no way, I told you I wanted to be 'Rapier'!"

In the epilogue Albus asks Harry why everyone is staring and Ron says "It's me. I'm extremely famous." (Classic Ron!!!)
deatheater13
I really loved the Potterwatch scene. Also, Kreacher was absolutely hilarious. Another part I thought was really funny was at the beggining when Vernon keeps changing his mind about going into hiding or not. It also says something about a "tearful goodbye" I assume that was a joke. Even if it wasn't, it still cracked me up too.

Of coure, the "holey" joke was funny, but I didn't find it as funny as most people seem to. Oh well. I always knew I had a weird sense of humor.
Felix2090
There were many hilarious moments in this book, but I think the one that I laughed the hardest at, was when a killing curse nearly missed Ginny and Mrs. Weasley shouted "NOT MY DAUGHTER , YOU [Mod Edited] and killed Bellatrix.

Mod Edit: Do not use ***'s to blank out the letters, cursing is not allowed in any way, shape or form on this site. You should know that. We all know what she said, there's no need to repeat it.
hermione rox
I seriously think NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU [Mod Edited] was the best line in the Harry Potter series!
It was great reading that!
In the epilogue Albus asks Harry why everyone is staring and Ron says "It's me. I'm extremely famous." (Classic Ron!!!)
I didn't exactly understand that, but it was funny!
Then I loved when Fred and George were "Harry" and they said: "look we're identical," hahaha!

Mod Edit: Do not use ***'s to blank out the letters, cursing is not allowed in any way, shape or form on this site. You should know that. Just because one person has done it does not mean you can too. You should know the Ruels by now.
b_sirius
All of the comments above were quite funny -- in addition, I had a laugh about this exchange between Ron and Hermione about the Tales of Beedle the Bard:

"We didn't hear stories like that when we were little, we heard 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' and 'Cinderella' --"

"What's that, an illness?" asked Ron.

I laughed out loud.
