I couldn't beleive the nerve of some people today. in a town in scotland someone had put up posters on lamposts telling the ending of the final harry potter book. I seriously can't understand why people feel like ruining the ending for people.

Ahh that's really low! I hate it when people spoil the plot for others. My friend told me a lot of what goes on in the book too before I had read it and I was so mad at her. I think I would have enjoyed the book far better if I didn't know if I was right or not about the theories I believed in. mad.gif
It just ruins the whole idea of buying the book. I hear on the news that someone had posted part of the book on the internet before it was out. That just shows how mean people can be and they aren't true JK Rowling fans. I'm sure she would not be to happy to find out people were doing that.

That's insane! Why don't people leave people alone and not tell anything until people start saying they finished!?!?!?!?! It's rude and mean!

J.K. Rowling is mad about it. She said that in an interview.

ya know when the book came out I knew that something like that would happen.. I know it's not feasible for everyone, and since the books been out for months now.. When the book came out I went to the midnight release came home read a few chapters and that whole weekened me and my kids stayed in the house (okay kids went out to play) but I stayed home didn't turn on the tv get on the internet till I was done.. worked for me.. Didn't hear anything till I actually went searching for it.. Needed to chat about the book and didn't wanna wreck it for my friend who was still reading it..

Omg, I hate that. Why do people get plesure out of ruining the books for other people, its not right. I really hope someone took them down.

Why are people so rude? That is just being plain nasty and mean. I don't know why some people get pleasure out of ruining other people's fun. That is like the guy that video taped himself ruining the end of HBP. I thought that was rude. I wished people would stop being mean and let the readers enjoy the book, it is the last one for crying out loud!

God, some people are such jerks! mad.gif I mean, it's a children's book. Some people actually wanted to ruin a book for young kids (and us older ones and adults! biggrin.gif )? That's just wrong.

I can't believe that people would do that!! Although I have to admit that, from a non fan P.O.V. it is rather funny. But i can't believe the nerve of those people!! I mean, how could you ruin a book for people like that. These people are obviously not true fans, or they would never do that.

I can't believe the nerve of some people!
Why would anyone want to spoil it for kids (and adults)?
I got the book for my birthday at the end of august and I had a hard time trying not to read spoilers because I did want to know what happened but only when I read the book.
I did manage it in the end and got through unspoiled,so when people do that sort of thing it really annoys me! mad.gif

Unbelievable! It's like that principal who read aloud the ending of the book over the pa system to the entire school like the first week the book came out. People just don't think. I am so glad i don't live in that town. I would have gone on a rampage like a mad woman tearing each and every poster down. mad.gif

That is so nasty!
People want the whole story, it's valuable for some of us! how could someone be so cold-hearted to do that? That's how kids and adults take magic out of their lives, because of those mean people who don't care about anyone else's feelings.
It's different if you actually ask someone but it's really unfair to those who want to enjoy it through the full reading.
I also got the book for my birthday (Aug 9th), but I asked my brother to give it to me a week earlier and he did because people were starting to post messages on their MSN usernames saying stuff about the it!
I think the world becomes a mess because of our lack of respect for each other. Sometimes it starts with things like this.

i despise people like that...i mean really what do they get out of it...an example i can think of is when i was on youtube looking up harry potter movies which i do often and i came across a movie where the guys drove past the long line of people at the book opening and shouted out the ending over a bull horn. why would some one make sure they get to the front of the line get the book read it and scream out the ending for everyone waiting for it to hear. people that post up the ending, shout it out to people or just go out of their way to ruin things for people are just sad and pathetic...they obviously don't like harry potter and thats fine, crazy but fine...they can just not read the book no one is forcing them to...why spend their time on something they dont like just to spoil it for other people...thats the reason the day the book came out i got it at 9 oclock got in my car went home turned off my phone, tv, computer and told everyone to leave me alone.i didnt come out of that room for 7 hours untill i read the last line of the book...honestly i didnt eat or anything because when i was half way through the 6th book this guy knowing i was a hpfan rang me and told me the ending....EVIL ok rant over.

I don't even tell my friends what's inside the book eventhough she asked about it..

I was like

"do you really want to know? I think its far better if you read and figure it out yourself"

because...

Before read the book, I accidentally read somewhere that Snape's in good side.. arrghh..and it spoiled me! I knew the silver doe belongs to him and I know that he loves Lily before finish the book! mad.gif , but who's to blame??

and I don't want my friend have the same feelings as me!

I know your pain. I hate when people spoil the ending, especially since this was the last book, and it was the one that to me mattered the most. As in you like really wanted to find out the ending for yourself. My sister had the news paper, and she put it on my bed and highlighted all the people who died. I started crying because I had hardly even started the book and it felt like the whole entire thing was ruined for me. It's absouletly a monsterous thing to do. I feel really bad for my best friend who hasn't finished reading the book yet, but it's all been pretty much spoiled for her. I feel really bad cause I accidently let one of the deaths slip because I thougth she was at the part.
