An amazing description I haven't seen the fifth book yet but from his description in Wikipedia and the books I think he'll be a good auror and he's a brilliant character.

Yeah I think Kingsley is a cool guy too.

I like the character a lot too, I'm glad of how his character was handled in the 7th book, it was fitting. (Is that a spoiler? It can't be...)

I have to say, the actor in OotP is completely different from how I imagined him. I thought he'd be sort of Samuel L. Jackson meets Vin Diesel (LOL). I remember thinking he looked a little like a thug or something when I first saw the movie promotional stills (that sounds awful, though, I'm so mean ).

Anyway...any discussion about Kingsley? I don't think it was mentioned in the books, but what House do you imagine him to be from? Personally, I think he'd be a Ravenclaw.

Ravenclaw matches how smart he is, but houses aren't just about simple things like smarts or loyalty. It goes deeper than that! I view him as either a Gryffindor or a Hufflepuff. I think he was pretty quite and closed up when he was young- someone nobody noticed and everyone wondered 'why's he even in this house?'. But then he grew up and became what he is today. Awesome! Couragous! Loyal and extremely strong in his belifs!

I think the actor that portrayed him in the movie was great. I totally saw Kingsley looking and sounding like that. He was level headed, and portrayed him as strong, easy going, and able to take on the most stressful situations. I definately think he should have been seen and heard from more, and he was a very strong character. I think he would have been a Ravenclaw.

kinglsey shacklbot is sooo yum....i love him he's probably my favortive charachter...he's like a mini dumbledore, with an always calm voice, amazing dueling skillls, and i don't know he's just so yum! i guess he should have had a bigger role, but i guess since he's like the new minister of magic and jkr says that in the after the war the ministry is totally different, he probably made the new new ministry and a better world in general does that make sense?

He's cool. But I don't think he's the best. The best is...

I really adore him. He is very brave, confident and does his job very well as an auror. And, I really liked the way he says casually that he might have killed one of the death eaters while accompanying Harry in the 7th book. He is awesome

I found it highly amusing that the Dursley's were so fond of Kingsley as well. He must be something extraordinary if Vernon is requesting his services.

I enjoyed him being quick on the uptake in the chapter called "The Centaur and the Sneak" in OotP. He was brilliant with charming Marietta Edgecombe. I also get chills when I read about his patronus charging into the Wedding, announcing that the Ministry had fallen.
