Princess_Hermione
I rented this extremely funny movie called "Pink Flamingos" with Divine. It was pretty nasty, but it was so funny that I was laughing so hard that I almost got into tears. It was more of an underground movie and Divine had finally stole the show. My favourite part was when this woman was interviewing this young girl for a job and the girl shouted, "Eat the bird!" My, God! You should see it!!! laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif
Lulu
the lsst movie I saw was "The Mumie". I've seen it before but it was on TV.
It was okey, not the best but cool enaugh.
MimolaChuck
the last cool movie i saw was...A Cinderella Story (with Hilary Duff& Chad Michael Murray)...it was good in my opinion...and it made me cry, but a lot of movies do that.
the last one i saw at the cinema was The Notebook (based on Nicholas Sparks' novel) and it was SUPERB! I saw it twice, and it's so wonderful! It's a major tear jerker but it's such a great movie and it's got a lot of great quotes in it too.
RG's Babe
i saw The notebook too and it was the first time i creid in a movie theatre! i also saw this movie called Wide Awake and it made me cry too! now im a crier at the movies! i used to NEVER cry at the movies but now i do. i really wanna see Lemony Snickets a Series of Unfortunate Events and Star Wars Episode 3 the Revenge of the Sith.
Triad
I've seen a couple of good movies, not at the cinema though, I've seen I,Robot and loved it and HellBoy. How awesome were they? Did you know that Ron Perlman who plays HellBoy is in his 50's! I never knew, I thought he was late thirties early forties.

Note of warning though don't see Touching the Void, it sucks majorly! But that's just my opinion, I'm a total movie buff, and I analyze movies too much but that one just annoyed me with all it's little commentaries and stupid camera angles.

The last cool movie I saw was uhm X2: X-Men United ... Even though it's a 2003 movie, I loved it - T-was the first time I've seen it ... Speaking of movies, I did catch a movie at the theatre yesterday and watched Darkness ... WOW! What can I say ... it's the worst movie to spend $6 on ... What did the commercial say? "THE SCARIEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR 2004!" ... My rear end! Hah, you can see how angry I am as I am sharing you this information in a cool movie thread ...
Lulu
the last movie I saw was Spiderman 2. It was pretty cool, even though I've seen it before, but that was when it still was running in the cinema's.
TheGuitarist
I saw HellBoy which cracked me up hehe; SpiderMan 2 was good because Doctor Octopus is my favourite supervillain, and I saw Lemony Snicket as well. I've been a HEEEUUUUGE fan of his stuff since the first book; the film was Ok (as a movie) but was a bit messed up...
RG's Babe

I watched the Terminal a couple night ago...which is excellent...but the last realllllly good movie that I watched...would have to be...The Bourne Supremacy. I do like other movies better, but it did ask which one was the last...so yeah biggrin.gif

zyra123
I've just off from watching 'Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason' like 1 minute ago... and that movie was absolutely hilarious!!! And I certainly have fallen in love with Colin Firth!! He's absolutely... err... entertaining in it! wink.gif **tee hee** seriously, I haven't watched a movie that I've laughed through it all for a long time....

And there's Shirley Henderson in it too... y'know... the girl who played Moaning Mrytle in HP... she played Bridget's friends...

Ooh, I really loved it... wink.gif
Souljacker
I also love, sence and sensibility and other period dramas like pride and prejudice, the importance of being Earnest and Emma.

The last good movie i saw was the others on tv a few weeks ago but the last great movie would probably be raising Helen (or at least i think that was the name of it!) it was a great dark comedy. smile.gif
MimolaChuck
the last cool movie i saw was Spanglish, with Adam Sandler
it's excellent, but i hated the ending.
and also, Meet The Fockers, oh my, was that ever funny. but don't take a small child to see that
HA
Autumn Rayne

"If it's yellow, let it mellow, if it's brown, flush it down!"
LOL! I also saw White Noise. That was pretty good.
brkn promises x
Oh my God, I loved Meet The Fockers! I laughed the whole entire time I was watching it. laugh.gif Poor little baby..his first word...My cousin and my brother actually taught me how to say that word too. ph34r.gif I loved the Fockers. They were so funny. But I didn't like the fathers kissing obsessions..he kissed everyone he met.. ohmy.gif I also thought that what the mother was doing for the old people was funny as well. tongue.gif
Gothic's Hollow

The Aviator

You have to see it. The camera movements will make you nauseous, and some parts will make you a bit, erm freaked out, but it's sorta worth it.

And Leo DiCaprio is in it, so that makes it more worthwhile, hehe.
zyra123
It's that good eh, doomed? Hmm... think I'll ask my sister to check it out this weekend then... and Leo won a Golden Globe for that movie, didn't he? He must be good to deserve that award...

The last cool movie I've watched is 'Kung Fu Hustle' by Stephen Chow... and I practically rolling and rolling off the floor laughing! (well, not literally, it's hard to drop down on the floor and rolls when you're in the cinema, but you get my point, right? wink.gif)
aleja23
The last col movie I saw, was a part from Shrek 2, but we were watching it on Francais class, so I didnīt understand some things, but itīs a great movie, I love the gingerbread man, and prince Charming, heīs funny, with all that about the hair move and the medieval meal, etc.. hilarious one!!! biggrin.gif

I thought the Aviator was Okay, kinda long. They could have made it shorter. I guess thats the only reason I didn't like. other than that, it was really good biggrin.gif

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events wasnt the last one i saw but i did like it a lot. I havent read the books and dont think i will. But the film is a great and very clever film. Can someone tell me if there will be other Lemony Snicket's films?
Tuitus
Thanks ashleigh07 biggrin.gif
Has anyone seen, "Batman Begins"?
I wouldn't say it's my favorite movie, but it did soothe the pain from its predecessor.
The effects, scenery, dialogue, and fighting were all great, yet the writing is what makes this the movie to see.
Quality Quidditch Supplies
I thought it was great. I wasn't too keen on the actor who played Batman; not because of his acting, that was great, but because I didn't really like the way he looked. I don't know...I never really liked Batman's mask as a kid, but thats kind of off topic.

Like you said, the writing was great. It's kind of lengthy, but I think it had to be. They took you through the stages, instead of just Bruce Wayne, then a week later he decides to be Batman.

Yeah, it was definitely better than the last one, probably the last couple. I liked how they gave you the intro into the first Batman, with the Joker Card at the end. Very nice.

The fight scenes were great; especially that one with all the men in black, where they were trying to find each other.

Overall, a great movie.
Tuitus
What did you think of the other characters?
Most of the actors seemed to fit their roles like a glove, especially Jonathan Crane.
What was in your opinion, the best part? I thought the best was the final fight scene with Batman fighting Ra's on the speeding train.
Aphrodite
Mm, I think the last movie I went to see was Kingdom of Heaven...pretty good and gory. Though it seemed it went on forever and very drawn out...
Abbyernathie
The last movie I saw was the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants. It was ok, but it wasn't great. But hey, that's just my opinion. smile.gif
Hermione_Resilda
Hmm...I would have to say somewhere in early December for A Series of Unfortunate Events. I've only been to the theaters three times in my life because since I have Dish Network, my parents think it's pointless to go to the movies when I can see perfectly good movies on T.V. *sigh
madness_within
