What scenes are you most excited for or are hoping they will put in the film?

Personally I will look forward to the chapter in Godric's Hollow! It's really eerie aswell as sad.
With the scariest bit being the snake rising from Bathilda's body *shudders*

Also, all of the stuff with Snape! Is very crucial to the story! And so saaaad. The whole of the pensieve bit should stay in!

Aswell as seeing the softer side of the Malfoys!

What do you think?

Ladie Lily Potter
I'm most looking forward to the whole thing, obviously haha. But I guess if I had to choose just a few scenes, I'd have to go with:

The Silver Doe
Godric's Hollow
The pensieve bit with Snape's memory
The Battle of Hogwarts (obviously)

But I'm just plain excited for the film - period.
raydurz
Without a doubt it will be the Battle of Hogwarts. I hope they do it justice, though. The Dept. of Mysteries fight in the OoTP movie was just bleh.
Seriouslysirius
Well yes defiently the Battle of Hogwarts. That shoilf be really epic and as it's the biggest battle of the Harry Potter series. They will just have to do it justice.
Snapes meomeries is crucial because it really puts everything that was a mystery in HBP in place. And it was intresting to read. I just hope they do it right for the film. Because Snapes worst Meomery in OOTP. They didn't do very good.
I think the scenes between Ron and Hermione because there going to be the scenes building up right to the kiss. I hope espically they will include when Hermione shouts at Ron. That would be great cinema.
Godrics Hollow - Because we may just fet to see James's and Lilly#'s deaths to the full. And it will be an intresting location.
Oh and the deaths - Because they are really powerful things that are generally ment to make someone to be upset or cry.
Venom
* Godric's Hollow

* Everything with Ron and Hermione that leads up to the kiss (they have to really make the kiss emotional and romantic)

* The bit with the locket.

* The Battle of Hogwarts

*Harry's death and all the other deaths.

* The final showdown with Voldemort.

* Malfoy Manor

Agreed! There was so much more they could've done there!

The Malfoy Manor has got to be impressive!! Can't wait to see Lucius' pad haha.

Ron and Hermione is going to be sweet, it's what everyone has been waiting for, I hope the build-up is good! Like the bit where Harry sees there hands almost touching in sleep, and Hermione sobbing when Ron leaves *sob* wub.gif awww.

I can't wait for the movie FULL STOP!

but to name a few

+ Ron and Hermiones kiss! - we have waited seven books for this they can not deny us of it!
+ The Battle of Hogwarts v Death Eaters - man that is going to be class!
+ Hermione attacking Ron when he came back - just because she swears and will be amusing to watch.
+ Mrs Weasley v Bellatrix Lestrange - time for Molly to kick butt people!
+ Harrys finishing fight will Voldy
+ Kreacher hitting dung with the pan!
+ ALL the funny parts in the book!
Arabella Doreen Figg
*12 Grimmauld Place where Harry sees Sirius' and Regulus' rooms, realizes that RAB is Regulus and where they tear of to interrogate Kreacher. Kreacher's narrative will be chilling, I think.

*Ron's leaving and return. "Are...you...mental?" Also, the retrieval of the Sword and the Riddle-Harry/Riddle-Hermione will be gripping.

*Snape's death, the collection of the memories, and watching them in the Pensieve.

*Neville killing the snake. "I'll join you when [Hades] freezes over."

~~~~
I'm fairly certain that those four scenes are all necessary, too.
I am definitely looking forward to watching the Battle at Hogwarts. It will be their chance to do a lot of special effects and such. It will be a big scene and if they ruin it like they did in OotP.. - rips hair out -
Of course, like everyone, I am eager to hear Snape's memories. It's another crucial part of the whole story.
The parts for Godric's Hollow. The part where Nagini bursts from Bathilda will keep me up all night, no doubt. xD
When Harry is in what seems to be Kings Cross, talking with Dumbledore and such.
The part where he finds how to open the Snitch and turns over the ring to summon his parents, Remus and Sirius is something I want to see; mostly because I love the Marauders.
Where Voldemort kills Harry, or when he thought he killed him, I am waiting most anxiously for.
There are many scenes I can list, but that's the most I can really think up at the moment. xD
X-Girl
Other than seeing the movie:
~ Snape's memories. That was one of my very favorite parts in the book.
~ The battle of Hogwarts. Who isn't looking ofrward to that? It'll be awsome or horrible.
~ The part where they're flying away from Voldemort. Once again one of my favorite bits. Hopefully it'll be scary I was freaking out grinding my nails to nothing when I read that part.
~ The talking Patronus that might be cool.
God god god, I pray they keep it all in! It'd only be fair to JK, the character and to Alan Rickman!! There was not enough about Snape in OoTP and that is the book his character really comes out as very important!
They can't avoid the mystery that embodies the character of Snape in HBP so they'll have no choice to deliver it fully!! So hopefully, they'll do it right!
As conceited as it is, I came away from the fourth and fifth films thinking "I could do it better"! Whoops shh!
JazMiie
The Battle of Hogwarts *Definitely*
Seven Potters
The whole bit at the Malfoy Manor with Hermione being tortured and Ron pounding on the door screaming for her.
Aberforths Story
Bill and Fleurs wedding though I think they won't put it in
the Destruction of all the Horcruxes
Not looking forward really to the death scences seeing as half of my favourite characters got killed off.
Dobby and Kreacher i like the house elves.
The whole DA in the ROR and all the characters in the books rallying together preparing to fight.
Snapes memories.
And everything possibly to do with Dumbledore and even though it might not be that important i just want to see Ron trying to speak Parseltongue coz i think i will be funny.
angelalynn
[font=Garamond][size=2]
I agree that ALL of Snape's memories should be in the movie...it wouldn't take an awfully long time to go thru it and it is SO crucial!!! (made me cry!)
I notice that a lot of people mention the battle at Hogwarts...without mentioning the search for the Diadem and the fiendfire in the room of requirements! I'd like to see that!
Finally, the break in at Gringotts was intense and cool! THAT should be left in! I could do without all the wedding stuff from the beginning in favor of keeping more of the search for the Horcruxes...and I'd like to see 1 scene dealing with the death of Arianna!
clarisa
I'm looking forward to the Severus scenes. Alan Rickman is fantastic so I just can't wait. Alan's made a career of playing the villain, but no doubt due to his charisma and sex appeal you always sort of want the villains he's depicting to turn out to have a good side. Well now he will - I CANT WAIT! biggrin.gif
It's quite funny really as Alan Rickman is 61 and Severus was supposed to be about 40 at the most. So that makes Alan old enough to be Severus's dad!! (and sadly old enough to be my grandad) wub.gif
For all you guys out there who also have a weakspot for Alan Rickman checkout You tube as they have the fantastic Texas video "In Demand" which features Alan Rickman at his most sexiest (dancing no less!!!). Why do men just get better as they age!!!
But enough about the actor! I still think Severus was the best character so I'm looking forward to Severus scenes!
azkabanical
...oooooooook...... huh.gif
Ron's glory scene (destruction of the Horcrux) is necessary and heartbreaking. It has to be in the film. Can't wait! wub.gif
And I do want to see Harry digging Dobby's grave.
I and hope they cleverly forget to portray Fred's death. Maybe that way it will seem like it never happened. *sniff* *sob*.
Oh! If you haven't read the transcript of the chat with Jo, you should. It answers so many questions that the epilogue left open. My favorite being that Ron joins with George to carry on with Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes.
But I digress. The film comes out in what, 2010? That makes me 20 when I get to see it. Sounds like forever away.
HP#1_wee_lil'
Well practically everything but to pick out a few scenes that I am most looking forward to they are :
- Ron and Hermione kiss - come on we've waited long enough
- The Battle of Hogwarts
- Seeing Snape, Lily and Petunia as children in Snape's memories
- Seeing Harry visiting his parents' graves and his old house at Godric's Hollow
- All other Ron and Hermione moments
- The final victory bit when Harry finally destroys Voldemort and everybody celebrates
- Seeing Ron punch Malfoy and call him a - well you know what he calls him.
There's probably a lot more, but I can't think of them right now.
trtrzgunners
The break into the ministry should be awesome, then Ron destroying the locket would sum up Ron's character, and the battle should be great.
i think they should keep all the action intense bit and the emotional bit so the movie would be fun and exciting.
mxnhpfreak
Oh my gosh... I haven't been here in ages... Ahem, that's off-topic.
One thing is for sure: if they plan to do Deathly Hallows any justice at all, the movie will probably be the longest in the series... And, heck! it should be.
It is quite difficult to name the scenes I'm most looking forward to, but I'll try to make a short list:
* Neville becoming such a fighter! "I'll join you when hell freezes over!"
* The "'ear! 'ear!" and "holey" jokes.
* Kreacher's tale (it'd be awesome if they did a few flashbacks kinda things, like in PS/SS, when Hagrid is telling Harry about Voldemort and the Potters).
* The Muggle-Born Registration Comission... and the whole MoM thing. Umbridge is such a... well, you get the idea. I'd love to see her so happy about making other's life miserable, and then Harry, being the noble (to the point of slight stupidity) hero he is, saving everyone.
* The Prince's Tale. Yep, everybody's dying to see that.
* Every scene with Luna... she's just awesome! Oh, specially her room... awww... wasn't that sweet? I had my eyes all watery when Harry saw her room.
* Dobby's dead and burial. No, I'm not looking forward to it, but I was swimming in tears while reading that and if they dare cut it, I'm gonna be ****ed off. It'd feel like an insult to Dobby's memory.
* Molly vs. Bella... that was amazing!
Hmm... there's dozens more, but I guess those are some of the ones I'm most looking forward to.
trtrzgunners
I hoped the ministry stuff is not cut though, since it would be really cool to breakinto the ministry again and save huge amount of people as well as putting Weasley Wizard Wheezes products into action, which technically led to Voldy's death. I want to see Umbridge getting attack too.
but the problem is how Mundungus gonna be introduced and what would happen to the whole locket saga, if Mundungus is not introduced in the fifith movie. I think the only solution is to mention him in the sixth.
Dominique
I'm really excited for the whole Godric's Hollow, since it's the first time Harry see's his parents! I think this will be a very emotional scene. But do you think that in the movies they will still make Ron dissapear and just Harry and Hermione go to Godric's Hollow, or do you think they will make Ron go with them? Because if they don't include Ron.. he will lose a lot of screen time!
But I guess it's kind of better if he dissapears because we see how much Hermione misses him and vice versa smile.gif
#1_pottergrl
Well this is what I'm looking forward to the most:
*The seven potters chapter
*The Harry and Ginny kiss on his birthday
*Ron and Hermione's relationship
*The wedding
*Malfoy's Manor
*Snape's memories of Lily
*Battle at Hogwarts
*Harry's death
*The epilouge
So...basically I want to see everything from the book on the big screen, but the chances of that happening are slim.
pottermania001
I 'm looking forward to see the scene when trelawney id gonna start throwing crystal balls at death eaters and i also wanna see the molly vs bellatrix battle and finally i wanna see harry potter naked in king's cross
trtrzgunners
this is not the same as the other post, by the way.
You choose one scene for these catagories:
1. Most exciting
2. Most emotional
3. Funniest
4. Most Dramatic
5. Coolest
For me:
1. most exciting-the seven Potters chase
this scene sound James Bond-ish to me, it is exactly like a car chase, should be very exciting
2. Most emotional-Ron breaking the locket
it is probably the most emotional one
3. Funniest-Potterwatch
Well it is probably the funniest
4. Most dramatic-Harry's walk to death
that scene would probably be the most dramatic, it is like you know you gonna die, which is painful.
5. Coolest-Harry's faking death
that would be cool, especially how his "corpse" suddenly disappear as well as Neville chopping Nagini head off.
No.1_HarryPotterFan
1. Most exciting- the battle of Hogwarts
2. Most emotional- Ron breaking the locket
3. Funniest- Ron and Hermionie's kiss
4. Most Dramatic- Snape's death
5. Coolest- riding the dragon
HUFFLESLYTHERAVENDOR
the best scenes: one is the final battle at hogwarts!
the second: the epilouge
the third: the chase out of the ministry
the fourth: the rest of the movie!
etphonehome
1. Most exciting ~ The Battle of Hogwarts...this is going to have to be awesomely good, lot's of special effects and exiting music!
2. Most emotional ~ Harry digging Dobby's grave and the subsequent burial.
3. Funniest ~ Kreacher bashing Mundungus with the saucepan, classic!
4. Most Dramatic ~ The Prince's Tale....I cried all the way through this part...I cried through lots of parts but this most.
5. Coolest ~ Ron destroying the Horcrux locket with the sword or Neville cutting off Nagini's head...tubular!! laugh.gif
Lauren0891
1. Most exciting I think the epic Battle of Hogwarts - my favourite part of the book! biggrin.gif
2. Most emotional I'm going to agree with etphonehome and say Harry digging Dobby's grave. They better leave that bit in.. mad.gif I don't really see how they could cut it.
3. Funniest I think Potterwatch if they include that in the film but I doubt they will they'll probably cut it sad.gif Though I did think that Kreacher bashing Mundungus was great! laugh.gif
4. Most Dramatic I'd say when Harry is going into the forest knowing that he is about to die and the Voldemort is about to kill him... that would be pretty dramatic.
5. Coolest Harry finally killing Voldy biggrin.gif
Ladie Lily Potter
Oh dear ... I have so many for each of the categories! I guess I'll just pick one of the ones that I have in mind:
1. Most exciting - The Battle of Hogwarts. No doubt about it!
2. Most emotional - Ron destroying the horcrux.
3. Funniest - The news cast where Fred says something about chasing Snape with a shampoo bottle and don't expect to get too close. Aha! That was the funniest line in the book for me.
4. Most Dramatic - Snape's death.
5. Coolest - The whole movie, mate!
annesches
1. Most exciting
Definitely it's got to be the battle of hogwarts
2. Most emotional
ron's destroying the locket - such tormenting scene it will be
harry's digging dobby's grave - harry's in such emotional state that he actually learned how to do occlumency
ron's anguish calling of "hermione" - over hermione's torture by bella
harry walking to the forest - readying himself for death
3. Funniest
Kreacher banging the saucepan on dung's head
Ron and Hermione's kiss - it's cute with all the odds that their in the middle of a war
Neville carrying plants in preparations against the battle with the DEs
Potterwatch - definitely gotta have it
4. Most Dramatic
Snape's Memories and his dying moment- don't even try to think about deleting it lol laugh.gif (though this also may fall under most emotional)
harry's last duel against LV - all the things he said to LV
King's Cross - what a ride
5. Coolest
house elves joing the battle hehe laugh.gif
epilogue - especially the names of the kids lol laugh.gif
chinery13
1. most exciting -
battle of hogwarts and breaking into gringotts
2. most emotional -
ron destroying the locket, when dobby died (i was so upset i love dobby!), snape's memories and of course when Harry is walking into the forest and he then sees ginny
3.Funniest -
Potterwatch was a laugh and so was kreacher smashing mundungus
4. most dramatic -
Snape's death, Harry against LV for the last time and when the people of hogwarts saw harry's "corpse" and mcgonnagal (sp?), hermione, ron and ginny's response to it.
5.when Mrs Weasley suddenly came to Ginny's rescue and yelleed a bad word at bellatrix and then they began to duel.
I so can't wait for the whole film but first it's HBP.
trtrzgunners
i wonder one thing though about the faking death scene. Would the direcotr made it look as if Harry really died in audience view, or are they gonna put the film in Harry's view for the audience view so we know he is faking it from the start?
for me it is one of the coolest scene in Harry Potter scene(technically LV got owned by Harry on wit, and that is why i like it)
Now that's a very good question. I think It would be cool if they made it look as though he ha died... I can just about picture those movie-fans who get information from his book-fans friends going all like "What the quacking duck? I thought he didn't die?"... hehe, I'm evil, I know... but it would be neat.
Now... This is hard and I don't think I can pick just one scene for each category, so I'll mention a few ones for each.
1. Most exciting I'd say it's sneaking into Gringotts & the MoM, The Battle of Hogwarts and Malfoy Manor.
2. Most emotional Dobby's death & burial, Percy coming back, The Resurrection Stone thing and when Harry sees Luna's bedroom with the pictures of Neville, Ginny, Ron, Hermione and himself.
3. Funniest Potterwatch, the ear jokes.
4. Most Dramatic The Prince's Tale (talk about a tragic life...), Lupin snapping at Harry, Snape's death, Harry's death, the Great Hall with all the corpses and Neville helping someone carry Colin Creevey into the castle (not likely to be included, but I cried when I found out Colin was dead sad.gif ) and also when Aberforth is telling what really happened to his mum, dad and sister... poor Ariana!
5. Coolest Bellatrix vs. Molly, when more people and creatures come for the final battle.
workaholic_1231
Most exciting
The final battle seems like it would be intense and keep you on your toes for what's to come.
Most emotional
Snape's death. To me that will be murderous and heartbreaking.
Funniest
Either Bellatrix vs. Molly, or when Hermione and Ron kiss, and Harry makes snide comments... that should be interesting.
Most Dramatic
Snape's death along with the Prince's Tale. If these aren't the most dramatic, I will be severely dissapointed!!
Coolest
The Gingotts breakin. All of the action all at one time! I can imagine the headrush now!
xxkrakenslayerxx
I REALLLYYY want to see Snape's Memories in the pensieve.
I am going to scream if they ruin it like they did Snape's Worst Memory in the 5th HP movie....
dora_tonks
Definitely Ron and Hermione kissing! I've been waiting for that for soooo long I just can't imaginehow it will be. But I agree with you all that they should make it emotional and romantic enough wub.gif Also Snape's memories will be a quiet sad scene which I long to see and of course, Dumbledore's repent and his crying for his family sad.gif That will be so touching! The Battle of Hogwarts is obviousy very important but I'm afraid of the moment when Fred dies because I know I will cry a lot! The Epilogue is so important too I doubt they will cut it happy.gif
Snape's memories - The Prince's Tale - everything involving Snape biggrin.gif
The battle at Hogwarts smile.gif
Ginny and Harry kissing!!!That would be the best ever!I also want to see Godric Hollows [sp?] Doesnt Everyone??!!I want to see the snake O.O!!Lol and Molly swearing at Bellatrix but I dont think thats going to happen because kids are going to see this film so they might sub. it for a different word like 'Stay away from her you hog' something like that
ioana.adam
i hope the first time they will stik to the book
monkeymushroom
OH MY GOD! i cant wait for this one.
The 19 years later part will definitely be one of the bits i cant wait to see, and most definitely the Harry/Voldemort duel at the end.
Harry diving into the lake where Godric Griffindor's sword is kept, and Ron saving him.
LargeBlondeDeathEater
KREACHER AND THE HOUSE-ELVES GO TO WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And Trelawney throwing crystal balls!
As long as those two are in the movie, I'm satisfied.
HPFan792
I am really looking forward to the battle scene at Hogwarts. It was the best battle so far in the books. During the battle I am looking forward to seeing Harry defeat Voldy and Molly Weasley defeating Bellatrix. GO MOLLY!
No.1_HarryPotterFan
Hmm... I guess I'm most looking forward to the King's Cross scene, because it is such a powerful and moving scene. I also want to see The Prince's Tale, because I LOVE SNAPE!! wub.gif
felix_felicis_05
the battle of howgarts!!! i think it will be awesome, well at least it was on the book. I also want to see the prince's tale, kreacher's tale, godric's hollow, the silver doe, the wedding.
I hope the movie's fantastic because it was a fantastic book. I hope they do it as similar to the book as it can be done.
Sir Cadogan
I can't wait for the scene where it shows EXACTLY what happened the night James and Lily died. I don't believe many people mentioned that yet... But I think that scene is going to either be very dramatic, or cut altogether. Hopefully they keep it, though, because the story isn't really finished until we find out what happened that night...
And I really want to see those little kids telling LV that he has a nice costume! tongue.gif
jeann_18
everything of course.. but if i really have to choose well i have to say...
1. silver doe
2. the part where ron stabbed the locket
3. battle at hogwarts
4. of course the tale of the prince
5. last but not the least.. EPILOGUE!!
Axoria
Ron and Hermione's kiss! biggrin.gif It's so perfect "now or never" and we've been waiting for this for such a long time.
Then in Gringotts getting the cup would be also interesting to see, and I can't wait for King's Cross as well. What do you think, DD will be showed as a real person or in a fog or something else, and that weird creature which seems to be LV after his death?
But I'm pretty sure they won't cut these scenes out, or at least I hope smile.gif
I really want to see this as well because the bit they show in the first film is really short and it doesn't even include James!! They need to include it because it is necessary to the plot-i.e because that's where Voldemort created an accidential horcrux.
I also want to see:
~Godrics Hollow-The memorial,visiting the graves,the near death experience with voldemort. I believe also that as in the book that only Harry and Hermione should make the journey as having Ron there just wouldn't be the same.That brings me to
~Ron's departure/return- However i hope they don't overdo the 'crying' from Hermione over his departure as i do not believe it is necessary.
~The destroying of the locket- only because i'm sad and want to the the H/Hr kiss even if it is evil tongue.gif
And The battle of Hogwarts obviously!!!I just hope they do it justice as i was slightly let down by the battle in the OOTP film.
No.1_HarryPotterFan
I can't wait for The Prince's Tale because it really redeems Snape and also proves my theory that he was ALWAYS GOOD! I really hope they do that scene justice, but of course they won't, because that's how the movie people ARE! mad.gif
