I really hope that they at least make the fighting sequence of this book/movie in a good length. with the OOTP, the movie would've been AMAZING if they just made the fighting scene with Voldemort longer. So i HOPE that this ending is much longer. and has good detail to make the ending have more of an impact on the audience.

yeah i know what you mean i was realy hoping that they would've made the fight sequence longer than what it realy was. the way they showed in the commercials showed that it was gonna be longer than what it realy was in the movie.

I too wish that the DD vs. Voldy scene was longer but because they made it o short it kind of makes you wan to come back for more.

I know what you mean! the OOTP battle scene was not okay! The DD and VD battle was probably the best out of all of it...but what would make the HBP battle the best would if they had close-ups. So all the charactors had a time to shine. Like Ron, Hermione, Luna, Neville, Ginny, and the OOTP members. and have Harry chase to catch up with Snape, be long which would be cool, and the part where Harry's dodging death eaters in hogwarts, they should go through areas that your familuar with: grand staircase, entrance hall, bridge, runes and so on.

I totally agree! They should make it pretty long, the chase should be the best thing, too, have the most emphasis. IT should be sort of like OotP when Harry chases after Bellatrix for killing Sirius. Only this chase should be a lot better, because it's a longer chase, and you've got all the Order and Harry's friends fighting Death Eaters along the way. And there's no way they can cut that out, because it's a huge part of the book, the Death Eaters being at the school, the Order coming to help save students, Bill getting attacked by Fenrir. That's one of the biggest things, I think, being intoduced to Frenrir Greyback, and Bill, because previously, Bill has not been in the movies. I suppose we'll find out in a little over a year what has been included, extended, cut out, and so on. Let's just hope the good stuff has not been cut!

I agree. If they make this battle scene longer it will make it a better and more exciting. Not that it didn't like OOTP. It was very food with special effects and that but it was really quick and the fight with the Order it should have shown everyone dueling suhc as Kingsley and Lupin etc. If they do this with the HBP and make it so everyone has a bit of fighting to be seen. It should be amazing.
And the chase through Hogwarts they could make it more epic than it was in the book going through the locations. And also include Hagrid's hut on fire.

I will be extremely annoyed if they don't do it justice! I was a little disappointed with the battle scene in OotP but nevertheless I thought that it was good. The battle scene in HBP is one of my favourite scenes in the book so I will be really disappointed if they cut out a lot of it. They should cut out some of the pointless relationship stuff to allow a lot of time to be spent on the battle scene. It should be really amazing.

I Agree, I mean the scene should've been much longer than it was. I was pretty dissapointed and upset with the movie. Hopefully the HBP fighting scene will have alot of the details that the book had.

I really hope the fight scene in HBP is longer then the one in OOTP, it was like fifteen minutes. When I read that part in the book, I thought it was cool that people like Ron and Ginny were actually fighting alongside members of the Order, so I hope they spend a bit more time on that since they didn't fight that much in OOTP. I really really want to see Harry trying to stop Snape from leaving the grounds after he kills Dumbledore and calls Snape a coward, that was such an intense scene. I'm interested to see how Alan Rickman will do that, so far he has done an excellent job as Snape. I would like for them to spend at least twenty minutes of the fighting sequence after Snape kills Dumbledore. But I really want to see actual fighting, unlike the "fighting" sequence in OOTP.

I was kinda disappointed when the Dumbledore vs. Voldemort battle ended up so much shorter. Where was Fawkes? So I hope that the next one will be a little longer. I'm really excited to see the part of the battle when Snape reveals the Half Blood Prine. maybe that make it longer. lets hope.

The sixth one i think is less of an intense action comparing the the others...
book 1-you got an out of bound corridor
book 2-you got basilisk on the loose
book 3-you got dmentors and supposed-to-be-criminal on the loose
book 4-you got tri-wizard tournament
book 5-you got Umbridge dictaorship and DA
book 7-simply action packed
It is more to deal with, Voldy history, love life and so on. You can say that Malfoy thing is a bit of action, but it is not until the end.
This is probably because Voldy did not appear, and there is no dementor circling the school.

All of our fighting sequences in Harry Potter, so far, usually last up to 5/10 minutes. Therefore, i feel the whole Hogwarts castle/tower sequence ought to last about 10 minutes at least, and maybe an extra five minutes for a quiet montage showing the whole castle, with people fighting - similar to Star Wars 3 where all the jedis are killed one by one.
Thats just an idea of mine, i'm not saying it will and ought to happen; thats up to the people who make it.

The fighting sequence in OOTP definitely could have been improved. I'm not saying that the Voldemort scene should have been longer, but that the scene with the entire Order fighting could have been better, like showing Tonks, Moody and Lupin fights. In HBP however, I do hope they show SOME fighting, but not too much, besides

we will get our share of fighting with the Battle of Hogwarts in book 7 hopefully.
There isn't too much fighting in HBP, at least not that we can tell, since Harry just catches the end of the fight. In other words, don't leave out anything important to make room for the fighting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The HBP fighting sequence should be a maximum of 10 minutes or maybe less because it shouldn't too long or otherwise it would get a bit tedious watching it a thousand times. As i already believe that the whole film should last abou 2 hours and 15 minutes, there should be a 10-15 minute cave sequence, a 10 minute fighting sequence and an under 10 minute end sequence for the funeral and everything else.
The reason why i want it to be 2 hours and 15 minutes is because the last film lasted about that long and it is much easier to sit through that much loads times than trying to sit through 2 and a half hours.

The fight scene really shouldn't be that long. The actual scene itself wasn't long in the book, it just seemed long because it was mostly people talking about it in the hospital wing. But since i am hearing they're cutting it, all expectations for this movie are gone.
