I was sorted into Ravenclaw and was very surprised, but happy. I figured I would get Hufflepuff, but Ravenclaws are highly thought of, and of course they are usually the quiditch team to beat. I like the idea of being Ravenclaw. It was surprising that I was put in it, as I didn't think I fit the mold, but I was very happy to be placed there.

I am definetely happy with my sorting...Gryffindor has always seemed to be the best house to me. It fits me perfectly, I've always considered myself pretty brave. Plus, it seems that Gryffindors are mosre into sports than the other houses and that is definetely me, so, all in all, i'm quite content with your choice

I had no clue which house i would be sorted in but i knew i would be proud no matter which house i was put in. After reading the characteristics of each house i found that i did in fact possess more qualities of a gryffindor so I think the results were spot on. I am happy to say that i am a proud Gryffindor!

I thought when I was filling in my answers for the house quiz that I might be in Hufflepuff.
I am wayyyyyyy to much of a wuss to be in Gryffindor,not nearly smart enough to be in Ravenclaw and not cunning and ambitious enough to be a Slytherin.

I didn't really mind what house I was put into so I didn't mind at all when I was put into Slytherin. Since I was sorted I'm getting really protective of it- it's a really cool house that you can't judge just because a couple of, ah- unique wizards got in there. I'm proud to belong to the same house as Snape and Regulus Black!

It turned out that my boyfriend would be Snape. That's great, really! I like the character and I think we have things in common but also strong differences that would only add to the relationship... (Plus, as I understand... he shares a birthday with my favorite musician, guess who). So I'd say - I'm thrilled about it!

And - my patronus would be - a (vocal) Bird of Paradise! That's so cool! I'm happy with the results!

I'd actually wanted to be in either Gryfindor or Slytherin house. I don't know if the sorting hat had a hard time sorting me into which house. As my choice of user name suggests mixed characteristics of the two. Well I thought I will be in Slytherin because my answers were tough. I think my answers is me...myself, my character. Besides my username is inclined more into slytherin because of severus and black isnn't it. Well that is as the name implied. But in substance snape is gryfindor and sirius is no doubt.

I believe its not only of my username but my answers that shows who truly am I.

I'm pretty new here...just found out I was sorted into Slytherin...I was bummed at first but then reading other peoples comments on how they are loyal, family oriented cunning and shrewd...and can see why I fit in there...Plus I see the positive attitudes people on this forum have about all houses so

Anyways if I were to guess where I was going to go I would have said Ravenclaw or Griffindor...but I guess I'll adapt

With heroes like Severus Snape...I'll adapt

i really wanted to be in slytherin, maybe because the house represent some dark glamour. i tried to answer those questions in the most possible way that i will react in those likely situations. i just don't know that i possess those qualities that slytherins have, but i sort of felt it.

am glad to that i was actulally sorted in slytherin. being the house of one my favorite character, severus snape, made it more wonderful.

I almost felt that it would go that way,
but Hufflepuff would have been cool too.

I like people with the qualities of honesty, bravery and loyality.

I didn't aim for Gryffindor even though I got that result. I mean- what's so special? All four houses ought to be equal. It's just overrated. To be honest I was expecting Slytherin.. or Ravenclaw.. something... Personally, I believe I have certain qualities from all houses; bravery of Gryffindor, Intelligence of Ravenclaw, Compassion and slyness.

Hi there Angel13, Glad you found us here at Veritaserum, welcome.

First off, let me say tell you how to get sorted. If you follow the Newbies Central link in my signature, you will find all the sorting threads, including, house, animagus, boyfriend/girlfriend and others. They are all quizzes and all you need to do is answer the questions then the co-ordinator of the thread will sort you by posting the results within that same thread.

Secondly, there are some other areas that you will find useful when trying to post etc on the forums. FAQ answers questions like, 'How do I get an avatar' or 'How do I put links in my signature' and many others.

The most important thread for new members is the rules thread. This maybe the most boring, but it is also the most important thread, so I suggest you spend a few minutes getting yourself accustomed to what you can and can't do to keep VTM the happy family friendly site that it is. Incidently, using netspeak is not allowed, the reason is explained in the rules!

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me or any of the Head Aurors, who are here to help.

I only have 3 results back so far, but I like them. I'm in Hufflepuf and I wanted to be in there or in Gryffindor, so that's good. I am a firebolt, so the best of the best, which is also very good. And I am James (Marauder). I wanted to be Remus Lupin, but everyone is fine, except ofcourse Peter. I'm still waiting for my Patronus and my Boyfriend at Hogwarts (Please, let it be RON!!! ) so if I got my results, I'll let you know!

I thought i was probably going o be in gryfindor or slytherin i knew i wouldn't be in ravenclaw because qiute frankley i am not that snart actually i am i just do not use it or pay attention in class and iknew iwouldn't be in hufflepuff cause i just do not fit in that way like he pesonallity actually it is really hilariuos that i would be in slytherin cause before i even found out n brother said i was going to be in slytherin joeingly!!!

I figred I'd end up in Ravenclaw since I'm good at school and I'm pretty bright, but the other characteristics of Hufflepuff fit me better -- and Ravenclaw isn't the only house that has intelligent people!

Well I was a tiny little bit dissapointed when I wasn't put into the Gryffindor house because
it is one of the coolest houses out of all of them! But I was pretty happy when I was
put in Slytherin!!!I really wanted to be in a house that is noticable and not one that

My sorting results were very pleasant, more of I can hope, cause I thought I could be Ravenclaw!! My boyfriend is a bit atypical, but I think we can go on! And my animagus... well is amazing!! lilies34, I don't think it is possible to switch houses, i.e taking the house sorting quiz anew, here. Not even in the books is the sorting ceremony allowed for the second time. But then, hey, Hufflepuff is not that bad! I'm sure you will have enough of Snape once your Potions classes start. And in the end, you will be glad that he is at least not the Head of your house if he must be your teacher.

My house is Slytherin, that's pretty cool. I thought I would be sorted there, or else in Ravenclaw.
My BF is Ron Weasley.. I wished for George or Fred, but it isn't bad.
And the rest.. I don't know yet.

I was surprised (but happy) with my house: Gryffindor!! I really didn't think I would be in it, I thought I would be in Ravenclaw but I love Gryffindor. My boyfriend is Oliver Wood--which is great. My job I don't like so much: Hospital Wing Matron. But I'm ok with it because when i reread my answers, I realised all signs led to it so it's fine. Thanks for all the work you sorting people do =)

i like the house i was sorted into. i wanted to be in slytherin and i got in so i was really happy about that! i also loved my wizarding job! i'm going to be head of the international quidditch association which is like frikin cool! was a bit surprised but i love it! i was a bit surprised by which character i was. i'm pavarti patil but i don't mind. my boyfriend is fred weasley! what a good laugh! my wand is Hawthorn, Leprechaun hair11". my quidditch position is beater. the thing that bothers me is that i can't find out what my maruader or my patronus is because they shut diwn. really sad about that though.
