Just to let everyone know that I'm about to turn the signatures and avatars back on.

Please be aware though that we are continuing to enforce the spoiler policy (link in my signature) until at least the end of August, so please don't put any images/text in your signatures containing spoilers from Deathly Hallows until we tell you it's okay.

Um where are all the signatures? I see avatars but no one's siggy is turning up. Did you have to get rid of them again or something?

I can see the signatures fine. Make sure you're in a 'signature enabled sub-forum.'

I can't see the signatures either, I asked Pixymajic when they were being enabled and she said she didn't know so I am assuming she can't see them either, I came to the conclusion that only Site administrators are allowed to view Signatures because I can't see them and I have enabled them in profile so I don't know what's wrong but I definitely can't see them.

Actually for the staff they were never turned off. So I've always been abled to see them.

When you asked me about them, I just assumed that they weren't turned back on yet.

The only time I see Signatures is PMs from staff. :/ So obviously there is a problem going on.

Signatures are now global.

HOWEVER. Our spoiler policy is still enforced. Please do not put up pictures or text hinting ANY spoiler regarding the Deathly Hallows. You're signature will be deleted at our discretion and if we see there are numerous members who cannot abide to the rules, signatures will be removed again.

Rebel_megz, earlier on in the year we decided to turn off signatures in certain forums because they weren't necessary and they added to the amount of load time for each thread. Signatures were turned off in the "Polls - Just Vote" forum, for example. However all the main forums have signatures enabled.

I don't want to nag or anything ... I just want to know when we'll be able to post like little quotes from the 7th book or images from the 7th book in our siggy's.

As far as I can tell, Ladie Lily Potter, no specific date has been set, though according to Louise's (admin) post in the Spoilers Policy Thread, the ban on revealing avatars and such will run at least through the end of August.

Ladie Lily Potter- You are allowed to post quotes or images--- check out my signature

What you're NOT allowed to do is post spoilers. So for example, if your quote says 'I can't believe (name) is dead' - that's giving away to other people what has happened in the books. However if there is a quote that you like then you are most welcome to use it, as long as it doesn't spoil things for other people.

You might find it useful to check out the main forum rules as they will help guide you through the posting process. Also this thread will explain all you need to know about how to upload images etc.

You might also be interested in this thread, where members who are really good at this sort of this, can take requests and custom make avatars for you.
