The confirmed cast list thing said that Susie Shinner was going to play the 'Young Lily Evans.' I saw the OOTP movie [which btw was fantastic. ] and when we saw Harry..break into Snape's mind [I guess] I saw James and Sirius and Snape and some other people I guess might be Remus and Peter, but I don't remember seeing Lily. Did anyone else see her, or was she cut out of it? And if she was cut out, do you think she might be in the...ah..potential spoiler? Hm.

Thank you! i was thinking the same thing when i watched the movie. i was all like where's Lily? But one of my friends said that they saw here like in the very back of the group and was walking toward them or something. Well i was a little angry when i didnt see lily i was looking forward to it.

That scene went by so fast the only people i was really looking at was snape and james. i have no clue how you people can spot Lupin or the others. However there is this picture that was uploaded today.

i don't know i was REALLY looking forward to seeing lily in the movie and then after wanted to know why she wasn't in the movie i just saw the pic i think that was when James had snape in the air already and hes fighting with its lily not in move though it was disappointing to not see that scene in that movie it was important

I didn't see Lily, but I wasn't really looking for her. I was too busy trying to spot out Remus and stare at Siriuis at the same time (which I had NO time for because the dang thing so so freaking short). But if I really try when the DVD comes out I might be able to see her...I hope.

Apparently it was filmed as if he was in the pensieve, but they changed how he saw into Snape's mind.

Guys,I didn't see her either! And I think it was an important part, wasn't it?The whole memory was too short and fast in my opinion.And even if she was in the scene, how were we supposed to recognise her so quickly? I think it was stupid that they cut her out.

I can't believe they cut that out...that was an important part of the story!! Besides that, we would have finally seen a glimpse of Lily. Well, I guess we will get a glimpse of her later. But still, I really wish we would have gotten to see that part. Well, it'll probably in the deleted scenes so book fans can see it...hopefully

Urrrgg! And yet they AREN'T including it in the DVD! AH! I'm sooo angry at them now! They should've kept it...At LEAST for a DVD thing...

I know i was totally wondering that too! it makes sense that she would be there, but her absence just leaves a big hole (not literally). She should be there. Wasnt that how it was in the book? That had me upset...

I was really looking forward to seeing Lily in that scene arguing with James and I didn't expect her to be cut out. I'm going to go back later and look at the people in the background and see if I can find her. The only people who really draw my attention are Snape and James. I was really dissapointed by this scene because it was too short.

It doesn't really make sense, though. They must have made a deal of somekind, cause to be cast and filmed as Lily but never show up in the movie? Maybe she backed out or something? Cause I'd so sue them if they cast me and filmed me in HP but never actually put me into the movie!

I was really looking forward to Lily in the Penseive scene, so i was quite disappointed. They definately filmed it (the poto proves that) so i think it was just cut, and one of those scenes that never sees the light of day.

I wish it wasn't though. But then, lot's of people are cast, but cut-look at Peeves. I guess we'll get Lily at some point, in DH.

I just finally saw OotP and I was disappointed Lily wasn't in it. Thay basically ruined the scene for me, especially after everything we found out in DH. It was way too short. Although I looked at the pictures and I didn't picture Lily looking like that although it doesn't matter since they didn't bothr to put her in.

The scene was also really choppy, they didn't do a very good job on it. I hope the memories in DH are better.

I was wondering where was Lily too. That scene is too fast, I didn't get it when watching at the cinema, but then at home I watched it in slow motion, with zoom and all, and I could guess who ones the Marauders were, and Snape of course, but no hints of Lily!
The pic is awesome, so it's a cut scene? Evil people ... doing that to us! And to the actress that played Lily! But I agree with Witherwings, it doesn't make sense ... why they'd cut such an important character??

That's the question I made when I saw the movie Order of the Phoenix. If they cut Lily Evans maybe they have some plans for the character in the sixth movie. If not, they just frustrated all of us.
I have already said and I'l say again: the Order of the Phoenix was the most frustrating HP movie. The special effects were amazing but the rest was very, very frustrating. I consider the movie a patchwork thing, where you see fast and non-explained situations. I think the screenwriter suppposed that everyone had read the book before watching the movie.
What was so funny seeing Dolores Umbridge punishing and harassing students and professors with a very light and gentle music during the scenes? I expected a darker movie, with a darker sound track and with a darker dolores-like character. Imelda Staunton is amazing, but the director shouldn't have created such a "funny" Dolores. And I'm quite worried as I read somewhere that the director and some leading actors said that the HBP movie is lighter, with sex, fun and rock. Gee, what's so funny about seeing Dumbledore die and Harry discovering lots of things about Voldemort? Definetely, the English people have a strange sense of humour.

I was disapointed that James and Lily weren't in there. You know that pic that you game, witherwings, james looks rather... ugly (please forgive me ) anyway, im really disapointedd that they wernt in the film

Couldn't agree more! James had brown hair and it was flat, not like Harry's at all. Furthermore the whole scene was way to short. I was disappointed in it. I mean, it was Snape's Worst Memory, the place where his and Lily's friendship is ruined. Lily should have been there. She shold have stood p to Snape just to be rejected.

Disappointing.
