All feedback appreciated. I know that it's a short little one-shot, and I know that JKR wrote what actually happened in Deathly Hallows. This version is my own little creation written before Deathly Hallows was released and ties in with my previous fanfic. I do have a longer one in the process of being written though.

Hope that you enjoyed this one nonetheless!

Thank you to the two of you that have, thus far, reviewed. I am honoured to have my fic as one of the few on this site that "captivated" you, talie. Robin A.B. Weasley: my other fanfic, that I wrote before Hallow's Eve at Godric's Hallow can be found in my signature as well as in the author's note before my one-shot. I hope that you read and enjoy that one as well, hoping that it does not fall below your expectations. I will be most happy if you can review.

I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to read your one-shot earlier.

I was captivated once more by your amazing way of describing things. I have to admit that the scene that touched me the most was the ending one.

QUOTE
In the stillness that followed, a wind blew through the ruins of what was once a home. It played with the hair of the mother, sweeping it across the face of the child. He woke and whimpered, snuggled closer to his mother and slept on, not knowing the tragedies of that night, or the nights and the days to follow until he is of age…

This is such an amazing image. A house in ruins, two grown-ups dead, and yet there is a child alive in there, among the dead. It is the hope not only for the continuation of James and Lily's love, but also the hope of the whole magic world.

I wish you'd write more Dianne. Whether more in length or in quantity. I hope that as soon as school leaves you alone laugh.gif , we'll be reading more of your amazing stories!

Take care and take it...slow!
