Okay, so I was talking to best friend not to long ago and all of a sudden I just blurted out, "I like the word pudding." Then we both started laughing hysterically because pudding's a pretty cool word and it's fun to say and funny. So then we came into this very long conversation of just random words we liked that either sounded cool, the definition's tight, or it was fun to say. We also made sound effects too. Haha. My best friend and I are seriously random, so deal with us here...
Words.
Love. =]] the definition is undefined.
Dream. Always striving - oh definition.
Wish - see above..
Deception - love the definition
Reminiscence - defintion and fun to say
Esthetic
obviously pudding.. =]]
flip flop .
Sound Effects
Shh. Shh. Boom. Kapow! =]]
Can't think of anymore even after about a three hour long conversation about it... so I'll post later.

Ok, my favorite word of all time is 'squirrel' but it is even more funny if you kind of make the 's' into more of a 'th' sound. It's hard to explain but if you say it right it sounds quite funny!
To add on to the pudding thing, it makes it even funnier if you just randomly yell pudding when your on the bus or something, people get seriously freaked out!
I'll be back later with more, I'm sure!!!

I love to just randomly shout words that have absolultely nothing to do woth anything around me. My freinds and I all get a chourus of Potter Puppet Pals "Mysterious Ticking Noise" going during lunch and on the bus and people just stare at us. It cracks me up. I also love the word "discombobulate". Say it a few times and I bet you'll fall in love with it, too.
As for a favorite sound affect, I would have to say I love the sound of rushing wind. It's so awesome! I also love when people say "duh, duh, duuuuuhhhh". I think that is hilarious.
Black..Sirius..Padfoot..Snuffles, I did the squirrel thing that you said, and it does sound really cool!
I sometimes say my name over and over again to myself and then it just sounds like a bunch of random sounds and I think "Whoa, that's actually my name" Wierd, huh?

One of my favourite words in the English language is....onomatopoeia, means a word or group of words that imitates the sound it's describing...like pop! Bang!Juicey! Buzz! Meow! Quack! Oink!...I think you will get the picture!

My catchphrase, and favorite saying, which I sort of made up is "blossoming". I also like to use the word peachy.
Another funny thing is to put in random phrases instead of swear words when you're frustrated. Through all of eigth grade I went around saying "Sputnick" when I dropped something, or ran into someone, or forgot something, (which I do frequently)

I always found irrelevant a word I like to hear or say. Also vortex, electric and, shock. But irrelevant is mainly the word I like most. I really think it sounds cool. I don't really have any sound effects that I'm very fond of though.

Reading through the posts, saying the words and repeating them for several times, all of them start to sound either
hilarious or completely
nonsensical after half a minute.

I don’t know why, but I love the sound of
spoon. It might be caused by the combination of
s and
p sounds at the beginning. Which brings me to
tonks&lunalvr and your
Sputnick idea. One, I love the sound of this word again, and two, using it will save me from speaking bad language and it is more fun than any swear word I can think of.

This is such a fun thread!
I don't know why, but I just love the word "oblivion", also the word "void"... They seem so interesting to me... Very mysterious... Hahaha! Also, I love the words "innuendo" and "naive", they sound so deep... Hahaha!
My favorite sound effect is grrrrr, or meow! I use them a lot! Also baaaah, like a lamb! I find that quite funny... I know, I'm weird! Hahaha!

so, JSB073... I see you turned our conversation into a topic. You obviously know that I still crack up uncontrollably at "pudding," but I love, love, love the sound "splort." I saw it written on a political cartoon one morning. The word pickle is funny too.
And it is "Aesthetically." Not Esthetic, I think.

Oh, this is so crazy that it's getting funny. Just scrolling down the page and seeing all these odd sounds everywhere?

lol!
Well here's mine: It's something
edible that my friend's mom makes, and I have no idea
what exactly it is, but the name is... *drumroll*
BabaganooshHahaha! I don't know if I spelled it right, but whatever; it's a funny word anyway.

Well one of my favourite words now, thanks to Witherwings

, is Hermit. It just sounds funny when you say it out loud. Also a word that I've never really about until today; Crackerjacks. I like to say it when I'm frustrated. What about;
-Quesedilla, it just rolls off the tongue.
-Plunk, it's definitely a heavier word. I'm not sure exactly how to describe what I mean. You just have to say the word. Like plunk sounds heavy and airy sounds light. I guess it might be too just the way you say it.

I think my new favorite word is Bedonkedonk. I'm not exactly sure why, but I think it's because my best guy friend ever says it all the time. So now it's ingraved in my head.
My old favorite word was egg. I dunno why exactly but it sounded so odd. Like me. It fits I guess.
My new favorite word is 'Zambini' my best guy friend ever got me into saying it now. We thought that it was 'Zambini' instead of 'Zabini'(I have corrected him on this) but it still has stuck and now he's a magician with a magical wand**cough cough pencil cough cough** and the magical word is 'Zambini'.
I have odd friends.

Hmmm... well I use a lot of random words that aren't really words but they're fun to say. Some of them are: awesometastical, awesome-possum, squintillion, and owie-kapowie. I also like to add -ish to the end of words. It sounds pretty sweet. And blimey is a pretty cool word. So is thingamajig. Also ohemsqueeee and zzzzzzohmygod!

I know it isn't a word but a bunch but my awesome friend got me saying this.
I add +er to the end of so many words. Like instead of saying "He is the most curious of the three." I'll be like, he's curious+er! My English teacher hates me for that.
I'm Spaztastic according to my friend
But my best guy friend is just the randomest person I know. Out of no where he'll start singing, his favorite-and he said this on the radio- is" Boogie Wonder Land" it's hilarious! He just makes all these random sounds and words. Soo funny!

My favorite word in the entire world is discombobulated. Every once in a while someone says it and another person doesn't know what it means so my friends volunteer me to explain it. It basically means confused or messed up and basically I say it any chance I get!

It's weird, I can say that out of the blue while and someone laughs over the randomness of it! It also works on me. I find that I laugh harder when somebody says pudding, because (even though I love pudding) the word sounds a bit like animal droppings. I mean, if I were walking with a nature expert and saw brown stuff on the ground, he (or she) would just say, "Oh, that's just dinosaur pudding", I wouldn't be completely surprised. As a matter of fact, if that did happen, that'd make the word all the more funnier. Is that a correct phrase? "All the more funnier"? Sounds weird. Also there are phrases that are incorrect that are used in almost every day language, such as;
"Shouldn't of" - that means "should not of", the correct term is "Shouldn't have".
"How come?" - I'm guessing the correct way to say it is "How did it come to be?"
I also like this word -
antidisestablishmentarianism - it's long and fun to say...

rach2603 I LOVE Monty Python!!!! I like to say Venezuela... it's fun. I had a weird word stumble today, I said someone breaked something. Then I thought about it and changed it to broked. That seemed wrong and I just COULD NOT figure it out. I said, brokeded, and that sounded incorrect. Took me awhile before I realized I was trying to say "broke"...

I quite like juxtaposition because it sounds like what it means.
The sound of the word persuasion when spoken thus: perrrrrsssuaaaaaasion is an invigorating experience in itself. RRRRRRRRR!

My friends and I say meh alot... we're even going to get shirts that say it on them. We dont just use meh... there are variations... I dont know why but we do and now practically the entire school has picked up on it but it started with me and my three best friends... actually I think I was the very first one to start it but now I hear it quite often.
