Which actually brings up a question... what house do you think Scorpius would be in? And Rose? I personally think that they would both be in Gryffindor. Despite this, they would not be friends to begin with, but later, obviously, they would be. Like Moon said, they would probably go through some traumatic experience together, then become friends. I have no idea what though. I'll have to think about that one.

Rose i see being a little Ravenclaw and Scorpius a Slytherin. Which is rather random, i know, but hear me out ...

I got this idea from a fanfic i read. Rose's middle name begins with a S, just say. And Hugo's middle name begin's with a G. Together, all their initials are "G H R S" (all the house name's initials). Rose and Hugo when they're little have a laugh, saying that they'll get into either ravenclaw or Slytherin (For Rose) or hufflepuff or gryffindor (For hugo) and they'll end up marrying someone from the opposite house.

Er, well if Rose ends up in Ravenclaw, then she'll end up marrying a Slytheirn (which Hugo laughs at). But then she meets Scorpius, and obviously it's not so weird after all.

Yes, that is really random, but i thought it worked. Lol.

My, we've been repeating ourselves. Emma I already said; I love your avie! <3 So I came up with this new question:

What do you think Rose would see in Scorpius, or vice-versa?

We don't know much about them, so we'll have to create them our own personnalities. The attraction might of been more of an incapability to resist his good looks and irresistible-ness (assuming he has a little bit of his father in him!). I think of him as a jerk-ish but also super-sweet guy, though much more shy and calm than Draco! As for Rose, I see her very like her mother but also having inherited some sense of humor or 'freeness'. I think Scorpius could be drawn to her the way they do Hermione/Draco in the fics, by pure hazard of unexplicable attraction. We need to know more about them! Anyway, our slogan says it all: What's love when it's not forbidden? You get much more tempted to do things you're not aloud to do, right? Well- voila.

I agree. I see Scorpius liking Rose first, and just wondering at first why on earth he could fall for someone like her. But is just drawn to the fact that they do have a lot in common-stubborn, and fun-loving (How i see them).

Rose would be all "Please, i can't stand him." for year's, then Scorpius goes alls entimental on her, and she comes to terms with the feelings she's had all along.

I must write a fanfiction about all this.

I love these two, because there's so much you can do with the character's. Like Scorpius i see not being like his dad at all. Like he was raised to be a tridiontal pure-blood hating muggle borns, but Scorpius doesn't see the point in hating them, because they can do magic just as well as they can. He's a bit shyer than Draco, but is still well-known at Hogwarts.

Rose i see being a mixture of both Ron and Hermione. With Hermione's brains, but a lot calmer in an emergancy. I also see her being quite tall (From Ron of course) and known as being one of the "Weasley Kids".

I actualy requested a Ropian avatar in the Avatar/Signiture market thread. Ah well, we'll have two now-i love your's emma.

I love how we can just make up how we see Ropius as. Quite a few people imagine Rose and Scorpius as friends, but i've always imagined them hating each other.

Yeah, I've always imagined them hating each other at first but eventually falling for each other. My friend (who also likes Ropius) thinks that they'll become friends right away, but I disagree. Maybe sometime during 4th year or 5th year, they'll stop hating each other and become friends. Then (obviously) they will fall in love and get together.

Well, on to N's question... I always have seen Rose as having a bit of both of her parents in her. I know that DH's epilougue basically described her as a mini-Hermione but I think that her personality is more like Ron's. So, she would be smart, funny, loyal, and just a great friend to have. Somehow, I also imagine her as being immensley pretty. But, yeah, Scorpius would like all of those things in her. I mean, what guy wouldn't?

And Scorpius... Well, I think that he would be almost the total opposite of his father. He wouldn't really care for the whole "pure-blood" thing and he definately wouldn't hate muggles and muggle-borns. I think he would be rather nervous and kind of shy if you didn't know him. But, once you get to know him you realize that he's really a great guy and there is nothing bad about him.

I guess that could be part of Rose's problem with him. She only see's him as a Malfoy and nothing more, but then when she gets to know him better, she realizes that she was wrong.

Hehe... I love Ropius. And Moon, you should write that fic. The fic that I'm writing is about Scorpius, and it might have some Ropius in later chapters! YAY!!!!

Well, I've written a one-shot about them, but I can't post it because... well actually you'll know in, um... well I can't really say, cause that just spoils it all!

Say, I thought about it a bit... Thinking of ways they could end up together is almost exactly the same as the Lily/James ship! We've seen a bit more of Lily/James's personnalities, but still- we never saw much of their interests, hobbies, qualities, etc, nor do we know how they got together. I think it's quite alike!

Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Rosie i see as a little Ravenclaw, and Scorpius is automatically put in Slytherin before he can even argue against it. which Scorpius believes has always been unfair.

Ropius is somwhat like JL, but i don't like to think of it as JL. Mainly because i've sort of gone off that ship, but i like to think of Ropius as a origonal ship-not based off anything else. Because Rose and Scorpius are unique people, i'm guessing.

I'm planning a RS fic, aaaaaand i need an idea for one part of the story which is kind of a bank right now. So-question.

If Rose and Scorpius went on a sort of adventure like Harry and co did at the end of basically every year, what would it be like, and how would they get out alive (Shear luck, working together, singing loudly and off-key, etc.) Would it effect the way they treat each other, or would they pretend it never happened ?

Well, Moon, it depends on what year they are in. If they are in first year and they went in some sort of adventure I would see Albus and other friends coming along with them. Scorpius and Albus would probably be friends and Rose and Albus would be friends. Rose and Scorpius wouldn't. So, in first year going on an adventure type thing wouldn't really change how they feel about each other.

Now, let's say it's in their 5th or 6th year. By then, they still wouldn't really be friends, but they might talk to each other once in a while. Not huge conversations, just saying "Hi" once in a while. So, if they went on an adventure at this point, I still see Albus and/or other friends coming along with them. But, this time maybe Scorpius would save Rose from something or vice versa. An adventure at this point definatley would change they're feelings for each other. They wouldn't be in love yet, but they would become better friends and learn to appreciate the other one.

As for what the adventure would be... well, I'm not sure. I'll just think of random things. Maybe they have to go on a quest to save the dragon population because all dragons are dying out. Maybe there is a new bad guy who captured Hermione and they are trying to save her. Maybe the Albus ran away and Rose and Scorpius both want to find him because they are both his friend.

And finally, I think that to succeed on this quest, they would definately have to work together even if they don't really want to. Bickering won't do them much good and neither will ignoring one another. Singing loudly and off key might also work... lol. I'm kidding.

In my version, Emma, Rose and Scorpius go to some sort of Ball together, to win a bet. Everyone thinks they love each other, and so they go to prove them wrong. They get into an argument though, and just when Rose says she can't stand him, Scorpius says he loves her.

But nobody else saw that part so Rose wins, but feels guilty that she did.

And it goes from there.

But i think they just get together in, say 5th year or sometime, it doesn't matter really. They both know the other loves them, but they're both too stubborn to actully do something ( "He's the guy!" "She's the confident one!" ) until they snap and tacklesnog in the entrance hall, while the rest fo the NG is standing there going "Wha ...?"

Rose i see as being the kind of person who likes to learn new things, but isnt really an over-acheiver like Hermione is. Scorpius would like to make his family proud and do well-people would have he should be a Ravenclaw. Rose says he's glad he's not-then she'd have to put up with him every day.

But that's ok-ambles are all good (though i admit to "That was a ramble and a half"). I must leanr they are fine. Exspecially if it's a Rospius type ramble. Yes, i'm sort of bored with the "HP spawn are exactly like their parents" scenario. That's why when i thought of my version of the NG, i made it so they wern't always like their parents. Rose and Scorpius included.

Rose and Scorpius were different to their parents, though simalar. In m eyes, Rose was tall like her dad, and Hugo could play chess, and they both like to read. but have fun too.

This isn't really about RS ... ok, because they're different to their parents, show that they can have their own life and not have to live like their parents-so just because Ron and Hermione hated Draco, doesn' mean that the offspring have too, as well.
