Well, not much happened for me today aside from a lot of snow and nasty, cold wind! We didn't get to go to my favorite restaurant, I didn't have presents to open (because I'd opened them all already - thanks for the tasty coffee, tasty tea, and fabulous pub mirror from you know who you guys are!). We tried going sledding, but the wind whipped us!

This type of thing absolutely confirms my opinion that this forum is among the best that there is around! Not that people pay attention to me, but throughout the year, many people pop in here to wish each other happy birthdays on their special days, and it warms my heart! I've made some great friends here at Veritaserum - enough to call them my best in the world! Literally! And we owe it all to my best friend and partner in crime who sung the praises of Harry Potter long before I was even remotely interested in the series! Thanks, kiwi! You're the greatest, and your limerick rocked! We should have another limerick competition! HMMMM. . .

Thanks for all the birthday wishes, I have had a good time over the past couple of days with a party thrown by my sisters in London for me, and today with my work colleagues who gave me lovely things too. Plus, I actually got out of work on time today!

The icing on the cake (pun completely intentional, I assure you ) is that I sent through my application for a permanent job today. Keep fingers crossed everyone!

Being 40 really isn't that bad you know (but I do have to admit, it's not nearly so good as being 13!!! ).

First off, thanks to everyone who wished me! And a very Happy Birthday to Magelirose and everyone else who's birthday was on mine! I have to say, it feels great to be a teenager finally! I get to watch PG-13 movies! Just kidding. Actually it feels no different...but I'm sure it will...eventually.

I didn't really do much ON my birthday (it was on a Monday, what could you do?) but I'm having a big party after spring break, which is cool. My mom got a store bought cake and made lasagna, but thats it. Oh well! I got lots of prezzies!
