Hm... that's a good question... I think that when they first met, it wasn't really jealousy, but more like awe, but the more he got to know Harry the more comfortable he was feeling jealous. Maybe the jealousy thing was a teenage thing, so he didn't feel it when he was a kid. I don't know. I'm not a teenager yet...
sadie_urlady523
As a teen, I know that Ron would probably feel very jealous. I would, too! Kids don't really feel jealous other than trivial stuff. Any other thoughts?
harrypotterlover1024
Do you think that Ron liked Hermione even in the "early years" (1st-3rd year), did it sort of grow into something after being with each other all the time, or did it just happen suddenly?

I think that they have always liked eachother, even when they just met. I think Ron may have liked Hermione more than she liked him, even though he was mean to her. But when your 11 years old you are mean to girls that you like. In the early books there were also little hints that Ron liked her. He may have been mean to her sometimes but he would also really stick up for her. So I guess what im saying is Ron has liked Hermione even since they were young.

Was Ron always jealous of Harry, or did he just start the whole envy thing in the later books?

I think Ron was always a little jealous of Harry, because he had a lot more money, and fame. But i also think he was really greatful to be his friends. Not because of his fame, but because he liked him. I think he might not of thought as much about being jealous when they were younger, so it did come out a lot more when they got older. He got a lot more jealous in the later books, but i think he still was a little jealous when they were younger.
nicky potter
Was Ron always jealous of Harry, or did he just start the whole envy thing in the later books?

I think when Ron was younger & he first met Harry it was more like admiration that jealousy... yet. When upon meeting someone who is known for something spectacular you are just in amzement that you actually know him. I don't think he was jealous when they were young becuase although Harry learned about his past he never really did or gave anything to Ron to be jealous about. It was when they kept getting older where there teen self started kicking in. When you are at that stage you want the best & be cool & have attention. Seeing that Harry got attention & was always in the prime light & Ron was seen as the sidekick who was with Harry when things happen & he never got credit. He probably felt used & only needed once in awhile, when in reality it wasn't true. I don't know those are my thoughts.

& harrypotterlover1024 I see where you're coming from when you say that boys are mean to the girls that they like but when you notice Ron his cruelty as a bit more genuine, at first. He really couldn't stand her but then he started to notice that there was more to Hermione than books & wits happy.gif
harrypotterlover1024
Yeah i wasn't meaning when they first met becuase that was being just mean. But even as they got older Ron still expressed that he liked her by being mean to her. Rons not that emotional of a guy and I think that was how he showed he liked Hermione.

Ok so I got a new question (and I just like randomly thought of this so dont laugh) : Why do you think Ron's patronus is a terrier?
nicky potter
Oh yes that's true, he still made dumb mean remarks. Good point.

Why do you think Ron's patronus is a terrier?

LMFAO laugh.gif I never thought about that ! Good question. Well give me a second I'm going to look up what a terrrier is all about...

*Jeporady music*

Well according to what I found a terrier can be stubborn, independent, curious, protective of their territory and their people, or even shy or aggressive in unusual situations. Sounds like Ron to me happy.gif
rebel_megz
That does sound right to me to! About the whole Ron/Terrier! And protective, he seems more protective than anyone else in the book! You know that question reminded me, why do you think Hermione's patronus was an otter? Don't get mad at me because right now I'm a bit offtopic.gif but anyways... when you said Ron protective, it automatically reminded me of Hermione! I don't think Hermione's always liked Ron but Ron's always liked Hermione! Mmmm... this is so good - a Chocolate Raspberry Icee homemade with just a hint of Cappachino! GO RON! Weasley is our king!
gissgon
Do you think that Ron liked Hermione even in the "early years" (1st-3rd year), did it sort of grow into something after being with each other all the time, or did it just happen suddenly?

In the 1st year I would have to say not until the end, when they were playing the huge chess. He noticed how smart she was and than just saw her differently and slowly grew to like her by the 4th book

Was Ron always jealous of Harry, or did he just start the whole envy thing in the later books?

I think that when they first met Ron wasnt really jealous just wanted to be friends with someone like Harry. Than slowly as Harry grew more and more famous Ron realized that he was known as Harry's friend and that not everyone noticed him or knew who he was so Ron got jealous.

Why do you think Ron's patronus is a terrier?

Ron's patronus is probably a terrier because dogs are "Mans best friend" and as Nicky pointed out terriers characteristics, Ron is basically just like that. He's a great friend, very protective, likes to feel independent,is always curious, and can be pretty stubborn at times
nicky potter
Well to answer rebel_megz question on Hermione's patronus this is what I found.

otters are very intelligent and very curious.

Sort of sounds like Hermione if you ask me happy.gif

But I also agree with you gissgon. Ron disliked her in their first year but by the end he started seeing her in a different light. & I also agree with Ron's jealousy towards Harry.
browneyedgirl
Do you think that Ron liked Hermione even in the "early years" (1st-3rd year), did it sort of grow into something after being with each other all the time, or did it just happen suddenly?
thats a tough question. i want to say all three for different reasons. a part of me thinks it might be the beginning because of how they just offset eachother. another part of me wants to say that it may have started after a while when he realized just how amazing she was. another part of me wants to say that it happened suddenly, like when she and Krum went to the yule ball together. its very hard to say.

Was Ron always jealous of Harry, or did he just start the whole envy thing in the later books?
i think he may have been a bit jealous of harry in the beginning because of all the fame he got and all of the money he had. but after a while, he saw him as just a normal person who didnt ask for all the attention, but was still somewhat jealous..because, well its normal to be jealous of someone who seems to have more than you.

Why do you think Ron's patronus is a terrier?
pretty much what nicky potter said with all their characteristics. plus, Ron is loyal. and thats what terriers are. smile.gif
DeSs
Oh girls, I can believe our lovely thread is finally up again!!

Seeing as Ron has 5 brothers , do you think Ron looked up to any of them? Does he take after any of them?

I agree in that of the twins. I think he admired them for the way they faced life, with humour and all, and how they managed to sneak out problems. Besides, for the ease they earnt money by doing what they liked the most and how they have been the ones in the family who knew how to hold their chance and look forwards fame. Like when he says they'll be the richest in the family, you can see the wonder in his speech.
Then, maybe he admired Bill and Charlie too, but he never really shown it. They both had things to envy, good jobs, Bill had Fleur, they lived abroad for a while ... all that stuff, but as the twins were closer, maybe that's why he looked up more towards them. Besides, he worked with George later, so you guess.

Do you think that Ron secretly admired Percy even when saying he hated him? I mean, there were a lot of reasons for Ron to look up to him...

Nope, not in the slightlest. I don't think that Ron never fancied being like Percy, because he's not the kind of Ron. Hermione could have, thought, but seeing how prat he was, maybe she regretted. (I know he said sorry later, but the damage was done, and simply don't think Ron'd admired anything in him)

Do you think that Ron liked Hermione even in the "early years" (1st-3rd year), did it sort of grow into something after being with each other all the time, or did it just happen suddenly? Please reply! I'd like to know your opinions.

Well, that's a HrR's thread good question, you should join us! wink.gif (there're vacancy for anyone who fancies it; you're invited)
I think Hermione annoyed him first, because she wasn't his type -- well, actually, he was just a child, so it's not that I believe he already had a type. But, yeah, I think he didn't like her at all. But then Hermione changed a bit, they spent a lot of time together ... and love knocked at their doors. In my opinion, they felt something different towards each other in PoA, when they were arguing all the time. Maybe after Ron thought, "Wow, if everytime we'll fight she'll hug me, let's do it more frequently!" wink.gif
Just kidding. If they had been in love that time, Hermione wouldn't have hug him when she informed them about Buckbeak. Nevertheless, they began feeling different. Next year, I believe Hermione was expecting Ron to ask her to the ball; you spot it by the anger which she says "That you haven't spotted it in four years, Ron, doesn't mean that anybody has realised I'm a girl!" and "If you don't like it, then you have the solution. Next time there's a ball, ask me first and no like your last resource!"
I think she was really hurt, and Ron didn't realise from where his jealousy came from, and it took a longer time to him for doing so. Maybe he only realised at half of OotP or so, I'd say.

Was Ron always jealous of Harry, or did he just start the whole envy thing in the later books?

In my opinion, he wasn't jealous at first, but just admired. Then, everybody looked at Harry, asked for Harry, talked of Harry, and being his friend, it wouldn't be very nice for him. As Hermione said (I'm very quotative today, sorry), he had all those brothers at home, his mom cared for all them the same but he had to make a supreme effort to jut out. And then his best friend, the only one who had accepted him without questions apart, from Hermione, was in the middle of everything, and he never said anything, he hold back everything, even encouraging him. But that jealously subdued his sweet heart at last and caused disasters sad.gif

Why do you think Ron's patronus is a terrier?
Why do you think Hermione's patronus is an otter?

Same reason as everybody: I tried to read a bit of them, but at this late I don't respond the same, so, yeah, agreed, agreed wink.gif

Ron Weasley is our king!!!
(and so hottie wink.gif )

sadie_urlady523
Wow! I was surprised how much feedback I got from my questions. I personally agree with browneyedgirl with all of her answers. I usually agree with a lot of different people! Well, here's a new question: Was Ron really ashamed of living in the Burrow (is that how you spell it?), or was he just ashamed when people visited or when it was compared to other (in his eyes better, in my eyes worse than the Burrow we've come to love and know) homes? Sorry, long question, but I'd like to know some answers!

P.S.

Weasly is our king!
He never lets the quaffle in
and he's such a hottie!
Thats why us girls all sing, Weasly is our king!

Hahaha! That was really random... Sorry! laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif
browneyedgirl
Was Ron really ashamed of living in the Burrow , or was he just ashamed when people visited or when it was compared to other (in his eyes better, in my eyes worse than the Burrow we've come to love and know) homes?

i dont think he was ashamed of living in the Burrow, until people started coming over. I think this brings us back to the whole Ron being jealous thing. his family isnt that well off, and with all those kids running around of course its going to be crowded. so i think he may have been ashamed of the fact that he didnt have some extravagant house with lots of room. but i think deep down, he loves the Burrow. because its his home..obviously.

P.S. sadie_urlady523, cute song. haha.
nicky potter

I don't think that Ron was ever ashamed of him home. I think he really appreciated it alot more than we credit him for. I mean maybe he wished it was bigger seeing as he has a very BIG family. & like any other kid he would feel a little ashame & a bit jealous that he can't live like some other people, but more than likely he wouldn't trade what he has (: It's just a stage of his seeing as in the wizarding world living large is what matter's the most & his father is highly ridicule in the ministry : /
gissgon

I personally agree with browneyedgirl. Ron loves his home and how big and well homey it feels but once people started going over, he probably started thinking that their houses were better and more "fancy" so he wasn't really ashamed,it was more just self consciouseness (sorry if that's not a word) tongue.gif

Hi there and welcome, magical vish wonder!

Woha, sadie_urlady523, great song for our thread! happy.gif And very good questions, if you keep posting, then our thread willl be always up!

Was Ron really ashamed of living in the Burrow (is that how you spell it?), or was he just ashamed when people visited or when it was compared to other (in his eyes better, in my eyes worse than the Burrow we've come to love and know) homes?
I don't think he was ashamed, because it was the home he was raised, he was loved, he learnt everything, and it's like saying that he was ashamed of his mum for example. But he could feel a bit embarassed when people visited them, so I guess he felt exceptionally relieved that Harry and Hermione had accepted it so wonderfully. I say it's because of his personality: he couldn't help but wait to hear what people have to say, and people like Malfoy doesn't help at all. He needed always be guided but people's judgement, till he finally changed miracoulously and we got the Ron we love!

Oh, about the song, I was just today earlier having a look at OotP (I like reread random things when I have a doubt for my fics, and then I simply stay reading and reading till I forget my purpose), and read when he won the cup; and he was very happy happy.gif and I felt very happy for him, because he finally was important! gosh, Ronald I love you, I love you so and forgot what goes next.

I think he thought his house and room was really small, but he liked it because it was his home. I think he was kinda of embaressed when people came over becuase he didn't want them to feel bad about his home. He complained about his house a few times but I think he really liked the Burrow because it is homey and where he grew up
browneyedgirl
welcome magical vish wonder, to this very lovely thread! where pretty much everything relates to Ron..until we get sidetracked..but then everything ends up about Ron anyways.. how i love that red-haired kid.
and i most definately had a question to ask, but i dont remember, so i guess this is just a welcome post, and if i remember the question, i'll reply again later!!
DeSs
I'm still eagerly expecting that jayden.payne comes up someday of a sudden, and shout us "Girls, I finished my Ron's video!" because I haven't forgoten she was making a video, and I want to watch it!
And that reminds me a song that reminds me (sic) to Ron: Whistle for the hoir, from the Fratellis. I don't know why, but I imagine Ron with that merry song.
Aah, yep, I don't know why this ginger has caught us so.
harrypotterlover1024
So you know when your heart goes into your throat and you take a sharp intake of air and smile really big? That happens about everytime I'm reading HP and theres a "Ron moment" ahh he just makes my day rolleyes.gif Thats why I love won won. So does that weird feeling happen to anyone else. haha just wondering, but it only happens when i'm reading. Ohh and welcome magical vish wonder!
browneyedgirl
well, harrypotterlover1024 reading your post made me think of a question.

How do you think Ron really felt when Lavender started calling him Won-Won? And based on his opinion, what do you think he would do about it?

does that question make sense? i mean like, if he first heard it, and hated it, what would he do to make it stop? ..that kind of thing. haha. i hope you all understand what im trying to say.
sadie_urlady523
Hey, sorry I haven't been on for a few days. I've been really busy. Well, I'll answer browneyedgirl's question.

How do you think Ron really felt when Lavender started calling him Won-Won? And based on his opinion, what do you think he would do about it?

I think that he didn't like the name, but he didn't want to hurt Lavender's feelings by telling her that. I think he would've just kept it in and would not say anything. sleep.gif
harrypotterlover1024
Yeah i think it annoyed him when she called him Won Won because he didn't even really like her. Not as much as she did, to say the least. He probably didn't know what to say to her because he didn't want to hurt her feelings and hes not that experienced in expressing his feelings.
DeSs
Aww, harrypotterlover1024, that's very touching eeek.gif , how he makes you feel. I felt very sad whenever he cries, because he doesn't do it often.

How do you think Ron really felt when Lavender started calling him Won-Won? And based on his opinion, what do you think he would do about it?

Pss, I don't know whether to believe it was not to hurt her feelings or 'cause he was afraid of her and that would break their farse. I think he felt very ashamed, specially for Hermione, because the trick came for the tip! (ok, internal translation of a very used phrase, so never mind) He didn't like her nor felt a crush like, let's say, Hermione could have felt for Krum, 'cause even if she dated with him at first only to bother Ron, I'm sure she didn't kiss him for that, but 'cause she really felt a crush (omg, I answered my own question for your thread, sadie_urlady523!). He snogged her in a moment he felt angry, furious, frustrated and maybe faint; and he had been gathering angry irrational feelings towards Hermy for a while, but then he realised it was probably he'll regret of have go that far with Lavender, and so kept snogging her, willing at first, but then she started hanging around, enclosing him and calling him Won-Won, and maybe he started snogging with absolute reluctance. And then he was too coward as to break with her, and didn't tell her he hated the WonWon thing as well as he didn't about the 'MySweetheart' necklace, or all the other nasty things she did.
Did I use too many times the word snogging? Sorry if I said too much.
I have a question, but it's a bit ... PG? Anyway, it's not like that, actually.
Do you think Ron went that far with Lavender?
shy.gif
browneyedgirl
Do you think Ron went that far with Lavender?
haha. well, actually, i think the furthest they went was making out. i really see Ron being super nervous, because he's new to relationships and stuff like that, so i think he didnt go too far with her.
besides, we know that he actually really like Hermione and was just dating Lav to get her jealous. so i really dont think they went that far. haha.
gissgon
How do you think Ron really felt when Lavender started calling him Won-Won? And based on his opinion, what do you think he would do about it?
Since this is Ron we're talking about,I'm sure he didn't like it. I think he would have been a little embarrassed by it. But than just to get Hermione a little jealous,he probably liked it.I don't think he would have done anything about it till after a while, than he would've told Lavender to stop, because he didn't like it.

Do you think Ron went that far with Lavender?
Uhh well im sure they "snogged" enough times,REALLY, but farther than that...i don't think so. I mean in my opinion no just cause I couldn't imagine Ron and "Lav-Lav" doing that. Its just a little disturbing i guess.
harry_potter_luvr_4life
Hello!!! May I join? Ron is awesome!! He may not seem like it in the books and movies but he is. It takes a lot of bravery to go on the adventures with Harry. Lots of danger on them. So like I said earlier in this post. May I join? Oh and I tend to repeat myself when I post. Sometimes.

Ok. Thank you!!!!

How do you think Ron really felt when Lavender started calling him Won-Won? And based on his opinion, what do you think he would do about it?

I think Ron felt very embarrassed. I felt embarrassed reading it. I think he would do nothing about it until they broke up. He isn't very good with girls. Especially with dating girls. I mean based on Hermione I would say girls scare him when he is dating them unless he really likes the girl.

Do you think Ron went that far with Lavender?

I don't think Ron liked her enough to go that far with her. She may have liked him that much but I honestly don't think he felt that way. I also think she scared him too much to even think about liking her enough to go that far. She scared me reading about how she was when they were dating.
Just the Droobles
How do you think Ron really felt when Lavender started calling him Won-Won? And based on his opinion, what do you think he would do about it?

Embarrassed. Definitely. He ran away from her. I wouldn't want her around me either. She got a little psycho in there somewhere as well. I'm sure he might have been fine with it in the beginning, but it was a small price to pay for having someone to make-out with. After a while though, he got embarrassed. Cause who wouldn't....really.

Do you think Ron went that far with Lavender?

Uh...nothing more than what they could do at Hogwarts. I guess it would depend on how much revenge Ron wanted to throw at Hermione, but then again, who knows with him. Lavender was his first though, so I don't imagine he was exceptionally gung-ho on a lot of things. huh.gif
nicky potter
Well hello there everyone I dont have much time i am only here for a a VERY bit , so apologies for my grammar. im on vacation with my family but im going home tomorrow biggrin.gif so onto some of the questions that i see here smile.gif

How do you think Ron really felt when Lavender started calling him Won-Won? And based on his opinion, what do you think he would do about it?

Well to be honest seeing as that there realy wasnt any true feelings there to start with and thats my opinion, i think that really bothered him seeing as that he knows that not only does it sound stupid but he doesnt really see how she can tell him that like he only allows it becuase he´s blinding himself from the truth, in the sense that he´s trying to allow himself that he likes her and so that name has to mean something but then yet again we dont know what he´s thinking but its ron lol and well ron in this case is like a pushover what he would do at the end of all he would tell her off and then end it.. i dont know im not thinking so straight either maybe i make no sense lol

Do you think Ron went that far with Lavender?

absolutely not. to be really honest i can not imagine that either would be bale, especially ron. he´s not that experinced. so i dont know i would like to see what others think

promise that if anything when im home i am going to have a much better response to anything. until next time happy.gif
DeSs
Welcome then, Leja! Happy ronposting!
Bah, Just the Droobles, I wanted to quote you, but you were so funny there that I'd have to quote your entire post and that'd be useless laugh.gif
Yes, I think he liked snogging at first, but then ... bah. That only came to me since I remembered that of 'they were so wrapped that you didn't know whose were each arm' or whatever, I just translated what I remember. And that brings me another question, but it's not for an answer, just wondering... why do you think he took Lavender out of the common room to that classroom, just to ... scrub he was dating her in Hermione's face?
Oh, I made a happy avi for this lovely thread; it's in the Market, so if you want to have a look, feel free! wink.gif
browneyedgirl
DeSs, i saw that av! it was quite lovely smile.gif

now to the question,
why do you think he took Lavender out of the common room to that classroom, just to ... scrub he was dating her in Hermione's face?
i think maybe he was looking for some privacy, and thats why they left the common room. or perhaps he saw Hermione leaving, so he tried to find her so that he could prove to her that he could get a girl.
nicky potter
But this is actually the moment that I would think that Ron is a bit shady :/ and I don't think that's in any way neccessary. Do you all honestly think that was a smart move of Ron? I feel like lately in half blood prince he is just looking for trouble in the sense that it seems like he is provoking Hermione trying to make her jealous and like him but really it seems more like he wants her to hate him. I make no sense sleep.gif ughhh. It was a moment of feeling that I had and wanted to write but I guess I took a bit long tongue.gif
browneyedgirl
Do you all honestly think that was a smart move of Ron?
absolutely not. he shouldnt be trying to provoke Hermione at all. poor girl. clearly torn about how she feels about Ron, and how he acted in HBP.
but boys can be ridiculous like that. bug a girl so much as an attempt at "flirting" that he just drives her away.
but i completely agree. he has been looking for trouble. maybe he just wants his life to be interesting like Harry's supposedly is.
nicky potter
I don't know about interesting laugh.gif Harry really hasn't had that much luck when it comes to girls. Yea he's had more chances with girls than Ron but of course boys will be boys. Unforunetly Ron became the jerky kind of guy, even if he didn't mean to deep down. He just acted on a whim and well he made himself seem shady. But he doesn't know how to be. Like you said Browney, a guys way of flirting, when they really don't know happy.gif is to be mean to a girl thinking that is going to work. But Ron is going about this all wrong. He jsut keeps making ridiculous mistakes after another laugh.gif Atleast he was eventually given that book to how to treat a witch ;D Haha.
DeSs
Do you all honestly think that was a smart move of Ron?

I don't; I think it's more probably that he was so angry ... or, better, furious, since Ginny spit him that Hermione had kissed Viktor, and then Hermione was bugging him with everything ... You know, he probably was like "Hermione kissed Krum ... And now she comes and bugs me like if I was ... Go to hell, Hermione, go and annoy Krum then!"
Well, so he went out of that locker with his head burning in rage and Lavender was already ... hot with him, she took advantage and he snogged her! He didn't think, I'd say, of 'See, Hermione Granger, I can snog too!', but he only snogged her, and then he probably did think of that, but later. Only that later he realised it wasn't a smart move at all laugh.gif

I've been thinking in a way I can meet Rupert. It's really stupid, but there were moments in I was really bored, and so I started to write it! laugh.gif Really stupid, believe me.
And another Hr/R story. The new Ron is so hot is so sweet! happy.gif
browneyedgirl
haha. dont worry DeSs. sometimes when im bored, i think of ways that i could possibly run into celebrities that im dying to meet. smile.gif

we need a new question for this thread. hmm. let me think.
What do you think would have happened to Ron if he had never met Harry Potter?
nicky potter
What do you think would have happened to Ron if he had never met Harry Potter?

We already discussed this but it wouldn't hurt for the new members happy.gif I think that Ron might have turned out the way that many assumed he would have been in the family. I think that he would have been a quiet kind. I mean he is brave, but thanks to Harry and the adventures they have gone through, Harry helped bring the courageousness out of Ron. Makes sense?
browneyedgirl
did we really already discuss this? oh darn, and i thought id thought of it all by myself. haha. im on so many threads, its hard to keep up what questions have been asked already.

but yes, i agree. Ron probably would have turned out like his brothers. maybe not so rule-breaking as Fred & George, and maybe not so much school-loving like Percy, but maybe like Bill or Charlie.
wow. it must be crazy having so many brothers to look up to.
nicky potter
Don't worry, it's hard for me to keep up as well laugh.gif and coming up with so questions. But yes talk about being compared to five brothers, being expected to turn out like one of them. And at the end thanks to all the adventures and loyalty with the friendship with Harry, Ron became his own person happy.gif
Norberta
If you don't mind I think I want to join your little fan club here...

What do you think would have happened to Ron if he had never met Harry Potter?

Well since I'm new I'll answer this question.. I think Ron would be more like the weasley twins than he is.. maybe he'll be their sidekick or something!! But I think if Ron had not met Harry Potter he would have felt a bit unimportant because he is the youngest boy in his family and he inherits everything he wears... He would not be as confident as he is in the books, I think(hmm)

why do you think he took Lavender out of the common room to that classroom, just to ... scrub he was dating her in Hermione's face?

I would like to think that Ron just snogged Lavender because then he could gain some "snoggingpoints" before hitting on hermione, so maybe he snuck out Lavender into that classroom so that Hermione would not notice. But then she send a flock of birds after him and he probably got pretty mad so then he decided to rub it in her face!

P.S. I agree with you on the first question. Ron wouldn't have been so confident, and all his brother's pretty much took all the titles that one can have in the Weasley family happy.gif so he has one now. I hope that made sense.

welcome Norberta! i hope you have fun contributing to our little fanbase we have here for Ron Weasley smile.gif
if you have any questions, please feel free to ask them, and please share your opinions.

now heres another question that kind of has to do with the whole talk we're having about his brothers.

Which of his brothers do you think he looks up to the most?

i'd have to say the twins. mostly because theyre of a closer age to him, so he communicates with them and hangs out with them the most. so i guess theyre the most influential.

I think that each brother holds something that he has always admired whether he liked them or not. Obviously since Fred and George are closer age wise he looks to them becuase he can still oddly relate to them. Not much becuase all Weasley's are of course different but there out goingness he like, I'm sure.

Which of his brothers do you think he looks up to the most?
I think Ron looked up to all of his brothers one way or another but he really really looked up to Fred&George. They were popular and funny and friends with everyone. They knew how to talk to people like Malfoy, extremely outgoing, and were loved by everyone. Ron was always so shy and I think he looked up to them because they were what he always wanted to be. smile.gif

So sad Fred is no more eeek.gif
Sorry,cant get over that

Hello smile.gif
Could I please join? I LOVE RON! and Rupert too! Ultimatly Obsessed, as I've been told!
Which Brother Do You Think He Looks Up To The Most?
I completely agree with everything you said gissgon. They had, or were capable of everything Ron wanted or wanted to be. I don't think Ron really wanted to be a goodie-goodie like Percy. I think he planned his life outside accademic achievement. Just like the twins did!

Of course MissGranger! We can never say no to another obsessed loving Ron fan biggrin.gif and I too am madly in love with Rupert. So welcome to the Ron Weasley is our king club laugh.gif By the way everyone I just wanted to share with you, that the other day I was in the car with my dad and I looked foward and the car in front of me has a bumper sticker that says RON WEASLEY IS OUR KING. I laughed so hard that my dad looked me and asked what was so funny, and I tried explaining it to him. Until his face of confusion reminded me that he doesn't know the story, let alone english happy.gif I thought that was funny. And now my friend and I are going to make our own bumper stickers<33
