Oh girls, I can believe our lovely thread is finally up again!!
Seeing as Ron has 5 brothers , do you think Ron looked up to any of them? Does he take after any of them?I agree in that of the twins. I think he admired them for the way they faced life, with humour and all, and how they managed to sneak out problems. Besides, for the ease they earnt money by doing what they liked the most and how they have been the ones in the family who knew how to hold their chance and look forwards fame. Like when he says they'll be the richest in the family, you can see the wonder in his speech.
Then, maybe he admired Bill and Charlie too, but he never really shown it. They both had things to envy, good jobs, Bill had Fleur, they lived abroad for a while ... all that stuff, but as the twins were closer, maybe that's why he looked up more towards them. Besides, he worked with George later, so you guess.
Do you think that Ron secretly admired Percy even when saying he hated him? I mean, there were a lot of reasons for Ron to look up to him...Nope, not in the slightlest. I don't think that Ron never fancied being like Percy, because he's not the kind of Ron. Hermione could have, thought, but seeing how prat he was, maybe she regretted. (I know he said sorry later, but the damage was done, and simply don't think Ron'd admired anything in him)
Do you think that Ron liked Hermione even in the "early years" (1st-3rd year), did it sort of grow into something after being with each other all the time, or did it just happen suddenly? Please reply! I'd like to know your opinions.Well, that's a HrR's thread good question, you should join us!

(there're vacancy for anyone who fancies it; you're invited)
I think Hermione annoyed him first, because she wasn't his type -- well, actually, he was just a child, so it's not that I believe he already had a type. But, yeah, I think he didn't like her at all. But then Hermione changed a bit, they spent a lot of time together ... and love knocked at their doors. In my opinion, they felt something
different towards each other in PoA, when they were arguing all the time. Maybe after Ron thought, "Wow, if everytime we'll fight she'll hug me, let's do it more frequently!"
Just kidding. If they had been in love that time, Hermione wouldn't have hug him when she informed them about Buckbeak. Nevertheless, they began feeling different. Next year, I believe Hermione was expecting Ron to ask her to the ball; you spot it by the anger which she says "That you haven't spotted it in four years, Ron, doesn't mean that anybody has realised I'm a girl!" and "If you don't like it, then you have the solution. Next time there's a ball, ask me first and no like your last resource!"
I think she was really hurt, and Ron didn't realise from where his jealousy came from, and it took a longer time to him for doing so. Maybe he only realised at half of OotP or so, I'd say.
Was Ron always jealous of Harry, or did he just start the whole envy thing in the later books? In my opinion, he wasn't jealous at first, but just admired. Then, everybody looked at Harry, asked for Harry, talked of Harry, and being his friend, it wouldn't be very nice for him. As Hermione said (I'm very quotative today, sorry), he had all those brothers at home, his mom cared for all them the same but he had to make a supreme effort to jut out. And then his best friend, the only one who had accepted him without questions apart, from Hermione, was in the middle of everything, and he never said anything, he hold back everything, even encouraging him. But that jealously subdued his sweet heart at last and caused disasters
Why do you think Ron's patronus is a terrier? Why do you think Hermione's patronus is an otter?Same reason as everybody: I tried to read a bit of them, but at this late I don't respond the same, so, yeah, agreed, agreed
