As for TV, this is practically the only TV program I can not afford to loose, and seeing thre is no topic about Heroes, I was just wondering if you like it, why and if you do who is your favorite hero?

I love it obviously, I watch it with my boyfriend every week, and it is great, a mayor production and a complicated story not just a power show of with out any sense.

My favorite hero would be Petter Patrelli, he can do almost everything he wants to, and I have to say that I'd love to create ilusion to.

I have given permission for this thread to stay open. I must say I'm surprised that no-one asked before now since Heroes is one of the most popular TV shows at the moment. I don't know it's ranking in the US, but it's number 1 in the UK.

It was originally aired on the Sci-Fi channel and has recently been picked up by the BBC. The entire first series was shown on Sci-Fi but it is only half way through on the BBC. I know that Season 2 has already started in the US so for the sake of us in the UK, please warn us of season 2 spoilers

Now, my favourite Hero is Hiro, he's wicked......my favourite piece of dialogue came on episode 9 or 10 season 1. He recognises Nathan Petrelli and says...'FRYING MAN WHOOSH'(doing a littleairplane action with his hand) to Nathan replies, keep it down, so Hiro says 'FRYING MAN WHOOSH' and does the hand action lower down...classic!!

ok so i love hiro too but i think peter is the coolest, i like milo (can never spell the last name) he is an amazing actor and really portays the character great! and oh gosh in sesson two i can't believe that happened to him i was like *gasp* what?

I love that part, too, Elaine!! SO funny!

I missed the pilot episode, but thanks to some encouragement from Tuitus, I caught up very quickly. Heroes is an awesome show! It's crammed full of interesting visual details, fun characters, odd moments, and mind-boggling scenarios that really make you have to think. And it keeps you thinking long after the show is finished.

My favorite Hero is also Hiro. I love how normal he is, and how excited he is at the possibility of being able to do something so incredibly amazing! His exuberance is infectious and his "we can do anything" attitude seems to have such a positive affect on almost anyone he comes into contact with. Even when he's down, he recovers his joy soon enough. He's a great character.

I hate the endings. I need more!!!

I didn't knew season 2 hadn't sterted in UK so maybe all of us that are up with it shoul get the spoilers as low as we can, so everybody gets happy with this topic.

What do you think?, even so, I know anything we could say abouth season 2 won't be in the least as watching the episodes, so much is abouth special efects that we are only going to make you more eager to watch it.

Please choose one, I know I'm missing Heroes, so please let me know if you got the names right ok?

We should have Ando. I know he doesn't have any powers, but he's such an amazing addition. I mean, talk about sticking with your friend no matter what! Definitely a hero!

Who else. . .the Haitian, HRG (Noah Bennet) (again, no known powers), Molly, Suresh (no powers, but pretty major character), Eden (if we're including dead people), Hiro's original girlfriend (her name totally escapes me) OH! It's Charlie, The Invisible Guy (who also has a name, I'm sure). If we're delving into Season Two, we should probably include Maya, Alejandro, Monica, Takezo Kensei, and Claire's boyfriend (whose name I also cannot remember). Sigh. I'm getting old.

And what do you guys think about the "old" organization? The one that Patrelli's mom and dad, Ando's dad, Parkman's dad, Peter's old patient, Linderman, etc. are all involved (or were involved) with?

Well i love Heros!!! Yet i 'm still watching season 1. As i'm in Britain. So i'm just posting not looking at what everyone says. It's really a gripping series. And i have to admit Claries my favourite. I love her power and i think she's such a strong willed character.
I think i'd love to be able to paint the future like Issac. Can't wait for all of the rest of season 1. And when it comes over in Britain season 2.

So, my daughter is walking around the house dressed as a HSM cheerleader and saying " I wish I could dress as a cheerleader for Hallowe'en". And suddenly it comes to me..."Claire"! She can be the cheerleader...'Save the cheerleader, save the world" Now off to find some bits of sticking out bone and a few deep gashes, plus the odd burn here and there!!

I've just recently started watching Heroes because I caught an episode on tv a while back and I thought it was really good.

Now I've found a website that lets me watch all episodes online and so far I've watch the first 10 episodes of season one, but tonight my plan is to watch at least 3 more episodes.

I have not voted yet and I don't plan on it until I find out more about certain characters. I'm so confused about Sylar right now, along with a couple other characters. So I don't want to vote until I'm sure.

Haha Elaine and Janet, I love Hiro too! I have to say that my favorite Hiro part was in the first episode I think when he kept relating his newfound talent to Star Trek. Too funny! "Beam me up, Scotty!"

Oh and Elaine, that idea is so cute! You should write that phrase on her candy sack!

Well I love Heros! I'm only wacthin season one because I live in the U.K and even though season one isn't over I already can't wait for season two

I voted for Matt Parkman because at the moment he is my favorite Hero but before that it was Claire before that it was Niki And I think it's moving onto Hiro I want to vote fore them all! They are great! And I can't wait for more from them.

Actually i'm ashamed to admit that i've missed quite a few episodes, one night they had a huge replay and i watched about 6 episodes...i'm waiting for another one of those haha
If not i think i'll just buy the box set, the start caught me instantly so it'll be worth it
I watched the first episode with my younger cousins, the girl cousin was screaming whenever there were scenes of brainless people and such, mean as it is i couldn't help but laugh, if it were more realistic i suppose i'd be scared
It was brilliantly done and I can't wait to see more.

Heros box set part one is out now in the U.K. Hopefully i'll get it for christmas. Because the only episode i missed. Well i missed a small bit of episode 1. So i can catch up then. They thing that really grabs me about heros. Is that when your watching one episode you think you have the plot sussed. Then it reveals something and it throws you totally in the wrong direction.
Some of the episodes can be so emotional to and have a really story to it. ( escpiaclly the last one i watched.) Heros has everything. I can't wait for more episodes.

I absolutely love this show. I think it is the best T.V. show on television right now. I have been a fan from the very start. I voted for Peter because I love his character in this show. He is a great actor! I also love his power and how he can do anything that the other Heroes.

Elaine, that's an awesome idea for a Halloween costume!! I expect to have some pictures sent to me with the finished product!

I'm not going to go on and on about season two, but I'm excited for tomorrow's episode. I love how this season has been described as "Extraordinary people learning to be ordinary." Last season's was something along the lines of "Ordinary people finding out they are extraordinary." I've simplified them both too much, but it really does feel like that's the way it's going. They're learning to survive amongst real people. AND I can't handle this "are they working for good or for evil" stuff! I'm already skeptical on anything having to do with the company, and Claire's dad really has some explaining to do! GAH!

Remeber when Claire threw herself off the bridge or what ever it was in the first episode and she had a rib sticking out of her chest? Well, the other day I found a severed finger ...that is an artificial one, with the bone sticking out and I thought that would make a good rib, but Issie was totally grossed out by it so it's a no no! Shame, but she has consented to all the other icky woulds so that's good.

I rewatched episode 17 again yesterday..I record it every week, and I'm confused about who's side Claires dad is on. I hope that things will become clearer in future episodes although judging from Janet has just said, I won't hold my breath. That's if we're talking about HRG and not the biological one!

After watching a totaly of 12 episodes in the past 3 days, I'm finally on episode 22! I have to admit, things got incredibly confusing between episodes 17-19 ish, but the clouds are starting to clear up a little. So don't worry Elaine, there's a light at the end of the dark, 3 hour tunnel.

What's really amazing me is all of the links that keep springing up between each of the Heroes. I love it the irony!

I'm still undecided as to who my favorite character is. Matt Parkman has become a favorite of mine over time, but now after a flash-forward episode, I'm questioning which side he's on.

Claire is probably right up there as one of my top favorites. She reminds me a lot of me with some of the situations she's in and I think that's what draws me to her character.

I can't get enough of Hiro! Everytime he's on the screen, I end up either laughing or near tears by the time the scene is over. He can be really funny, or he can make me feel really sorry for him.

Who am I kidding? They're all great!

Last night I bought about thirty dollars worth of episodes from itunes, so guess what I'll be watching all day in my classes?

EDIT: Aww Elaine, that's funny! Usually it's the mom telling the kid their costume is too gross, now you've got Issie telling you where to call it quits. I bet she'll look adorable regardless of ribs poking out from every angle.

I know! It's like in that episode 17 (such a iconic episode in my mind) and Hiro's dad is involved and gave him baby Claire....and wasn't that little kid who played Hiro just the cutest little cutie you've ever seen?

No fair...itunes hasn't got any Heroes yet.

Yeah, don't count on it. They're going through this whole "Hate HRG, like HRG, probably hate HRG" thing, and guess where I right now in the cycle? YEP! I don't think I like him again. Sigh.

And that's just too bad about Issie not liking the finger! i can't imagine why a severed finger would gross her out, but c'est la vie!

Hiro, last season, was my favorite Hero. I don't have one this season. I don't like where Hiro is at the moment, because I'm not sure how much it matters. I'm sure it matters- but everything thing is messed up where he is now, but it's not messed up in the future. . .so it doesn't seem like it's a big deal. I guess I should just go with the concept that it's not messed up in the future because he's already fixed it. Anyways. It seems kind of an odd plot development.

And the Heroes aren't as connected in this season. It's fine, but gets a little overwhelming having still to follow every new development for every character.

This season is kind of odd for me. Still great, but so far I'm not as blown off my chair by it. A lot of convoluted story-lines and a lot of irritating questions! I guess the main thing at the moment is this: How far do you go and still remain a good guy? Where's the line? What happens when you cross it? Are you still a good guy? Okay, that's four questions.

Another week to go now.

Hey!!1 sorry for having been lost for so long, I missed the las episode, so I'll have to catch up with the rest of you that are allready watching season 2, I'm just thinking what would happend to Sylar this episode, and talking about crossing lines, I think that is something of the main plot line of this season beeen heroes won't make them less human in any way. and quoting Sirius, in OoTP (the spanish version for Latin America) " the world is not divided in good people and Death eaters..."

I can barely contain myself at the moment. I've just finished season 1, and I'm positively blown off of my feet! It was amazing!

Of course it ended with a cliffhanger (beware Elaine) but luckily I've got the first episode of season 2 to ease that adrenaline rush.

I've become Hero obsessed in the past couple days. Seriously, I need to be restrained. I've changed my LiveJournal layout, started making icons, spent wayy to much money on episodes. Help? Janet? Elaine?

I'm hoping I'll be able to watch the first 6 (or 7?) episodes that have played so far of season 2 by next monday so I can be caught up with what's playing. All of this has happened within the past 2 weeks. Wow.

So, just out of curiosity to see where everyone's sympathies lie at the moment, I have a question for you all, no matter where you are in the series because I think it applies to the series in general.

Do the ends justify the means?

At this point - after seeing the episode "The Line", I'm going to say a big old no to it. When one man is destroying other people's lives and families and happiness just to keep his family hidden - I say no. It isn't right.

So we have just seen .07%, which was pretty good. Can't stand that Candice woman, I think she's a real nasty piece of work.

I'm starting to feel really deprived already because I have no idea when we will get to see season 2.

I have started watching Heroes a week or so ago. They started broadcasting it here and everyone got really enthusiastic about it, so I am watching it now as well. It is a great series so far! I have only watched like 10 episodes (from the net, on tv they will be showing episode 7 this week) but I really like how this evolves, and everyone's powers. It is a great series, and I really hope that it won't turn out to be a mess like Lost.
Plus, Peter Petrelli is so so so...

PS: I am the only one to want Hiro's powers??

I so want Hiros' powers! Just imagine being able to go back and forward through time. I particularly like the idea of being able to bend space and ending up in a totally different country, great, no flying!

Anyway I just found this article about Tim Kring apologising for sseries 2 being naff basically. I have seen a few tasers of it and it looks all good to me!

At least I know from this that I will be able to wacth it at some point as the BBC has taken up the rights to show it.

Only 2 1/2 more hours til the newest episode comes on! I for one want some things explained, bigtime.

Hmm, hard question, Janet. Part of me wants to say yes because they're doing all they can to get by. However, when it comes to the "Company" I'm definitely going to have to say no. The company has no right to rip families apart and treat people as lab rats. Yet, there are times (such as Niki's case) who seem to be seeing positive from the Company. Hm, I just don't know.

I would love to have Hiro's power too, but not near as much as I'd like to have Matt Parkman's. He is by far my favorite hero, and his power would be amazing. However, only if you could control when you can and can't hear other's thoughts... not if it was sporatic. Plus, I think we're becoming aware that there's way more to Matt's powers than we thought, so who knows how much more I'll grow to love them.

Has anyone seen "The Post Show" on G4? It comes on after the new episode of Heroes shows every Monday. Tonight will only be it's third airing, but I like it! It's interesting to hear from all these different perspectives, and they have gueststars like Tim Kring and actors too. Tonight will be Masi Oka. YATAA!

I just watched the last two episodes of series one on the Wednesday just go and it was amazing! I loved it! It seemed a little rushed inarts but other then that it was amazing, brilliantly planned and it was great how everyone ended up in the same place. And at the end it showed the first two/three minutes of the start of season two and wow! That’s all I’m saying because I don’t want to give anything away to anyone who hasn’t watch it.

Your kidding right? You don't really mean that the whole of the 2nd season has finished in the US. Are we talking a cross purposes here? I hope so! I thought you were only up to the episode called Powerless in Volume 2!! Was Powerless the finale?? That was a short volume then!

Yep, season(Volume) one has finally come to an end, and we have to wait until 2008 for volume 2, but I don't know when, it could be June for all I know. I am annoyed because originally Heroes aired on the Sci-Fi channel and by rights if the BBC hadn't picked it up, we would be almost on a par with the US. No Fair!!

OK so now I confess, there have been sneak peaks on You Tube so I know who survived the exploding man. Naughty, but I couldn't resist!

Yep, it's the writer's strike. It was only a 12 or 13 episode long season... how sad.

I can't believe you have te patience to wait to see season 2!! Find it online or something at least.... I know, I'm impatient. What can I say?

I'm still in shock because of the end of season 2 there are so many questions thata were left with out an answer... and sad it was so short, I really did expected to get to more plain facts by the end of this seaon, but at least we know that there has to be a chapter tree ad that every time the story is gettin so much better

Well i recently finished watching season 1. It was really, really good. I liked the fight with Sylar. Yet the ending seemed slighly rushed. They could have given a little more time to it. But other than that. I've enjoyed the whole series so far and can't wait until season 2 comes to the U.K 2008 here we come.

Oh i loved the cliffhanger too.

So at last season 2 of Heroes bagan airing on UK TV last night. It was great because we had 2 episodes to watch. I had watched some on You-Tube earlier but it's far more enjoyable watching it in the comfort of a squishy chair on a decent sized TV! Besides, it made far more sense.

So, since it's over and done with in the US, perhaps some UK fans want to pick up the conversation from here on in?

LOVE Heroes! It's amazing! Though I did miss quite a lot from the first series, I am going to make sure I don't miss a single episode of the second series!

Peter is my favourite character! He is so gorge And I like the fact that he can fly because thats my favourite superpower.

Series 2 is really good so far though the bit when Claire cut off her toe to see if it would grow back was minging!

When Clair cut off her toe I was like...No! They're not going to show her actually doing it...and they did hahaha!!

I'm loving the series so far, I especially love the fact that so far Sylar is stuck in the middle of nowhere thanks to his own stupidity and can't use his powers. I'm sure though that our US friends will soon put us to rights about the outcome of that scenario...if they want to spoil things for us I suppose

The only bad thing I can see about the series is it's length...11 episodes and I've see the first four already...not good, they need to make longer seasons!

I've only seen the first two episodes of the second series. It's probably because we live in different countries. I wish I lived in America since they got to see the second series last year .

So, they've turned the last episode into the season finale, which is probably a good place to stop with the big events that happened. I would have loved a longer season, but with the writer's strike, I guess it proved more difficult for them than for other shows.

Anyways, next season is starting in September with, get this, a three hour season debut! GAH! I guess they're going to take the two they already shot and combine it with another to make us feel good.

Well watching Heroes on BBC 2 in the U.k at the moment. Can't quite know what to make of it yet. Though i'm liking it, still it isn't a scratch on the 1st season in my opinon.

The whole Clarie and West thing is good. Noah and Mohinder working together is clever. Yet to see much of Nathan. Peter's story is alot different. Not sure if it will definetly work yet but it's good to see them in Ireland. Niki and Micah suddenly popped up in episode 3 where I think the whole DL thing didn't quite add up. Still annoyed about that. Wanted to see more of Niki I hope we get to see more later on. Wondering what story they'll do for her as she is no longer scizifrenic. Maya and Aljeandro two new people. Liking them so far, intresting and tragic abilites. Can't wait to see Molly's "boogey man."
Sylar typically back to his old ways killing... Would have been intresting for him to have a sidekick, though I suppose it was worth seeing the illusion girls erm.. True colors... Oh and I want Hiro back in the present, him and Ando are a funny team.

So far ok, hope it gets better. 11 episode true but of course writers strike. Quess these things happen.

Oh and can I ask why Noah is called HRG? Never understood that.

Horn Rimmed Glasses!!

I was a bit bemused how the story of Nicky, Micah and DL went. Did I blink and miss something but since when was DL dead?

So I have just recorded episode 4 and will watch it later on. Maybe thing will start to become explained a little better.

I'm really loving the Claire and West storyline. I think West is sooooo gorge . By the way see when he said "the guy with the horn rimmed glasses" did he mean Noah? Is Noah a bad guy? And then there was Isaac's painting which showed Noah dead! Dun dun dun!

Isn't West just so yummy! He has such lovely teeth

I think that Clare thinks it's her dad but that scene where he (West) mentions the glasses it cut to whathisface...who Suresh is working for in the company and he was wearing them too. I still am not sure what side anyone else is on but I do like this season so far!

I just can't get over how amazingly gorgeous West is I loved the bit when West and Claire were sitting on the big Hollywood sign and he asked her to jump and he caught her and said something like, "Even though you can heal yourself, I never want to see you get hurt." It was like so romantic and sweet which makes me love him more

I used to love heroes... but know they're boring. Not really boring, just boring TO ME! Isaac was my favorite character and when he died I just stopped watching the show...
Peter is really annoying to me, why he has to have ALL powers? that's so unfair and stupid. He's really arrogant and that's gets on my nerves...
I also like Mohinder, he's kinda cool...

Series two has just finished over here in the U.K so please DON’T READ this post if you haven’t watched it all.



Personally, I love Heroes. I’m not sure who my favourite character is because they all have different motives, storylines and interesting history’s and there is still so much more we don’t know. What will happen next? A question which I constantly ask myself.

I love the tense relationship between Claire and her dad Noah, so little trust between the pair is so great to watch. And Claire’s relationship with West is just what she needs and its great for the viewers to watch because it drives a wedge between her and her dad.

I do sometimes get annoyed that Peter can do everything but his power is that he absorbs the power of others so what can we expect. I wasn’t happy when Nathan was shot at the ending, I knew something like that would happen but I didn’t want it to.

Oh my god! Nicki! I hope she somehow survived maybe Mohinder gets some of Claire’s blood to her and maybe she comes back to life like Noah did.

I just can’t wait for series three which is here in the U.K in the autumn, I think.

Here in the US, Heroes comes back on September 22nd. I can't wait for it. I already have programmed by TiVO...just in case I have to work late or something. The previews look exciting. The prison vault which housed Peter in season two is compromised. Lots of dangerous "heroes" escape. Presumably, they are not happy about being incarcerated.

so i recently started watching Heroes, and i finished season 1 & 2, and im currently working on season 3. all i have to say is that i LOVE this show! its definately become one of my favourites!
i picked Peter as my favourite hero, because lets face it, hes gorgeous. haha. i also envy his ability the most. it would be so cool to be able to absorb peoples abilities!
i noticed that some of you said that youre liking the Claire & West thing, and as adorable as they are, i really wish Zack were still in the series.
