BILLY JOEL LOVERS REUNITE!!

I want all the Billy Joel Lovers to come here! Instead of typing Billy Joel Lovers over and over again, it'll just be BJL for short! So, what's your favorite song by him? Mine is "Goodnight My Angel". My top three are;

1) Goodnight My Angel
2) The Longest Time & Uptown Girl closely tied
3) The River of Dreams

What are your top three and what do you LOVE about BJ (Billy Joel).

His voice makes me melt inside!
He sounds great with Elton John with him doesn't he?
He's deadly at the piano, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! It's like *magic*
His wife, Christy Brinkly or something other is a sweet and pretty gal.
His songs are nice and full of meaning.
I love it how he used the song "Uptown Girl" to get Christy Brinkly, it's sooo romantic to have a guy sing to you isn't it?

I am not 100% sure it is Billy Joel, but "Why Should I Worry" featured in the Oliver and Compnay movie was fantastic. If you don't remember the movie by name, it had that dog dancing in the streets and on the piano. Great song and perfectly placed in the movie.

I can't say that I'm his biggest fan but I love The River of Dreams and Goodnight my Angel... Those two are beautiful songs and at first I didn't know that he was the one who sang both! He's really good!

The first one's got great rhythm, and the second one is so extremely sweet! I like The River of Dreams more, but still, they are both very good songs!

My favorite Billy Joel song is "All about soul" from the "River of Dreams" album, wich is one of the best albums ever made.

My favorite Billy Joel songs are We Didn't Start the Fire, Goodnight Saigon, Only the Good Die Young, Piano Man, Scenes From an Italian Restaurant, Big Shot, You May Be Right, Movin' Out, New York State of Mind, The Entertainer, Uptown Girl, My Life, Tell Her About It, and For the Longest Time. My favorite in there is Scenes From an Italian Restaurant but I picked We Didn't Start the Fire because I didn't feel like picking other.

I absolutely love Billy Joel. Two years ago I went to a concert of his in Syracuse, NY...35,000 people al sang piano man along with (awesome ).

However, I had to vote for none of the above because my all time favorite song of his is "Honesty".

However, I also really like "Piano Man", "Root Beer Bag (or Rag, can't remember which)", "Good Night Saigon" and tons more.

Billy Joel is one of my favorites! "Piano Man" has to be my favorite song of his. I even started figuring out how to play it on the piano. That didn't go far. Then I saw the sheet music at a music store, but I didn't buy it. I really wish I had. It would be a fun song to play. Oh well.

Oh come on, I had to choose Uptown Girl. There was a cringeworthy cover version by a certain pukeworthy bunch of idiots not so long ago which spoilt it for me.

I got a hifi for my birthday one year with a voucher for three free cds so I chose a Best Of Billy Joel double album as one. I've never listened to it.

I chose Piano Man, it's one of his best songs, personally. It's a song to just listen to and think very deeply about life. I like to listen to it in the car, when it's raining. I don't know why!

I chose Allentown... but it's tied with And So It Goes. Really, I cry when I hear that song.
