3rd movie for sure, she was more mature.

i would have to agree with evy thats waht i was gonna say she is more mature and looks better with curled ahir even though it doenst fit the description of the book.

In third because she is more mature and she take good decision, she is not in doubt when she leave the class of divination or when she gives a clout to malefoy! And it is comforting to us!

Can't say more than 3rd movie, the punch in malfoy's face was just cool.

I,shamefully, have not seen PoA...but I have a strong feeling it is under my Christmas tree,so I'll get back to you after Christmas.

the third movie off course, they have grown up as actors (the three) and she has more experience than the first film, obviously!!

i agree with all of you... the third movie, POA of course! she was just more mature and a better actress and it was my favorite movie out of the 3 so that's what made her performance better!

Well, I'd actually have to say that her best performance was in HP and the Philosopher's Stone, because I thought she played the part of Hermione perfectly. Her hair matched the descriptions in the books, she had that slightly bossy air, she was just very...Hermione-ish.
She does look better in PoA, she's really really pretty, but it's just that Hermione isn't supposed to be that pretty. Ron and Harry should actually realise that she's pretty in the fourth book, at the Yule Ball. And it's not her prettiness that's going to make her act better...
Don't get me wrong, I liked her in PoA, her acting was great, but it's just that I thought that the Hermione in the first movie matched the Hermione in the books a bit better.

Well i think i can say very easy PoA. The votes show it.

Even though Hermione's character was a little laid back than it should be in the 3rd movie, I was impressed by Emma Watson's performance. Her acting has improved so much since PS. She used to say other people's lines in her head and you could notice that on screen in the first movie. But, she's wonderful in PoA!

she really did a great job in PoA. i think her performance stood out compared to rupert and dan's. dan was great, but some of his lines were delivered in a cheesy way...

of caurse third film!

and the best scene when she knocked Draco down. i love this scene and i can watch it a hundred times (but my parents are not allow me)

In PS! She was the most "Hermioneish" from all the movies. I liked how she acted in PoA<- the book. But in the movie -> well it wasnt bad...its just she acted... i cant explain it, weird, kind of stuck up?! lol im rambling must be off. (i know im going to get yelled at for this!?)

Definitely PoA... The way she punched Malefoy!! She's more mature, she's a teenager now and I think that's an important part... Look at her attitude in the movie!! She's completely into Hermione, you know... For me, she's the soul of the character.

Ill say the 1st movie because emma acted like hermone. don't take me wrong emma did a great job in the 3rd one, but she didn't play the pert right, she wasn't hermone, the boose now it all type. and that punch look so fake

I agree with sexy-lass. Emma's Hermione in the first movie was the closest to the book. In the next movies, the character was changed a bit, so it does not seem consistent with the Hermione in the book.
Maybe because Emma starts to play a younger character than her true age? Or because she lost a bit of her cuteness in movie 1 and turned to be too pretty for the character? The change of directors and condensation of the thicker and thicker books into the same 2-hour movie slot can be the causes.
However, Emma's acting in the movie 3 is the most mature so far. She can do some difficult scenes without looking too strechy. Of course, she is not yet to be compared with the big names, but she is getting there in due time.

The third movie, definately. I think her performance wasn't as exaggerted...I mean, she was only 11 in the first movie and wasn't as experience with acting and everything, but now she's older, her acting is getting better, and I thought she was great!
And I like her hair in PoA

I think her acting has definatly improved in PoA and she's turned into a great actress, but i think she wasn't really Hermione enough in it. Her hair made most girls jealous, and she just seemed too relaxed and not Hermione-ish. Sorry i'm rambiling aswell lol. But i think she was the best as Hermione in PS but her acting was the best in PoA.

I would say SS/PS because acted like like the character from the book
In POA she didn't really act like Hermione.Though her profomance(sp?) was better in POA

I think that her best performance was in POA because she was more mature. But in PS/SS she acted most Hermione-ish.

i don't honestly think she's ever given a good performance.

I have to say the 1st moive because she was more like Hermione in that movie. Emma develops here own style in CoS and PoA, which I like but I like SS character a lot better.

Emma Watson has really grown as an actor. She was amazing in POA.

POA - She's way hotter in it than in SS and COS.

I think all the child actors have gotten better with each movie and in the 3rd one emma is absolutely brilliant. She gives a really good performance.

I say Chamber just because I like her charicture in that one better. I like the second movie the best so I gusee it is a little bistandard.

I really, really, really preffered her performance in Chamber of Secrets and Sorcerer's/Philosipher's Stone to Prisoner of Azkaban! I mean, in the third one, they completely changed Hermione into Emma! It's sickening!

I would say that Emma acted the most like Hermione is SS/PS, but I think her acting and appearance were the best in PoA. Emma is becoming a really great actress. I hope she continues the Harry Potter films after GoF!

i agree a hundred percent with Dracoluver because she was perfect with the character. now i did like her in poa, but her hair wasnt hermione nor the clothes. although i did like her wearing jeans, but a rainbow belt?? like no one wears a rainbow belt lol
