Is anyone else as disappointed as I am?
I absolutely love him as Percy!
I just can't believe that he would not come back.
I mean, I suppose it is sort of understandable since it's not a huge part in the sixth book, but I still think he should stay.
And don't get me wrong, I am not saying that his decision to not stay is bad or am I saying anything bad about Rankin.
Because I like Chris Rankin, and I wouldn't do that.
Just saying.

I enjoy him as Percy, as well, but I kind of figured that he wouldn't be returning for any of the remaining films. They cut out his transformation to Ministry Brat in the fourth movie, and I think that effectively cuts out any story-line he might have in the remaining ones as well. Film watchers won't understand why it is important to have Percy back in the final movie because they were never aware of his break with the family. I think it'll get left out, unfortunately, as so many other little things have to be as well.

That explains it Passerby, I was wondering why they'd cut Percy but his role in the books was as the turncoat of the family, the fact that they cut it out of the films just makes him a side character in the Weasley family, which is a shame because

So, did they cut him as a charachter, or just as an actor? I haven't heard about this yet. It would make sense, but that would be just a shame. I think the DH scene itself justifies leaving him in.

I was surprised they cut him out completely. I mean he was in Order of the Phoenix so i figured they would go into the whole plot about him leaving the family. I mean he is in one of the essential last scenes of the series. It's such a disappointment...

all i have to say is that the characters NEED TO STAY WITH THE DANG SERIES its getting annoying to hear about them not coming back
