I have never posted a story on the forums. I make a lot of these. Mostly they are about love. I have gotten very far in writting them. Once I can type better I will try to type all of them up. So, here it is!!!!!

Under the Moonlit Sky


"James, why did you call me here?" Lily asked suspiously.
"Lily, you'll find out soon." James said softly.
They were standing by a pond under the leaves of a gingko tree. A light breeze played across Lily's beautiful, straight, red hair.
"Lily, I have loved you ever since I saw you sitting on the stool, petrified, with the Sorting Hat on your head. I loved you even when you hated me through our years at Hogwarts. I have loved you through these years of fighting against Lord Voldemort. Lily, I have loved you for so long."
Lily waited with bated breath, thinking for a second that he was going to dump her. Then, she knew...
"Lily," James said as he knelt down on one knee."Will you marry me?" As he said this, he withdrew a diamond ring from his pocket.
"Oh, James", Lily said softly, tears coming to her eyes. She kissed him gently. "Yes, I will." And she kissed him again, under the moonlit sky.
