Elaine, this fanfiction looks to be filled with amusement and humor! I love all the things that have to appear in subsequent chapter, too, and I think that the little lines you've given that have to be used are great fun! It reminds me a bit of that game on "Whose Line It It Anyway?" called "Whose Line?" The one where they each have a piece of paper in their pocket containing a line that they are unaware of, and in the course of their little act, they have to reach into their pocket and say what's on the line. Very funny. I love it!
I've added a bit, and I can't wait to see what everyone else contributes!
Thanks, Elaine, for setting it up!

I have to admit to thinking of Alvin and the chipmunks when I first read your chapter Janet. There is a christmas episode on one of the Disney compilations my kids had when they were little, and I had almost forgiven you for including one as a traditional character

I like the idea of a three inch elf and it's so typical that DD would be the one to understand the language.
Well done for getting in the verse straight off, very clever of you
I took on your suggestion for the twelve days of Christmas, which now have to be included in sequence!!

Aww, I love this collaborative! I'm so glad to get to be a part of this one since I missed out on the Halloween.

Stupid schoolwork...
I hope you guys like the twist I've added in... What do you think? I figure it allows a lot of leeway with the Twelve Days of Christmas verses. It's going to be interesting to see how the next person takes the clue idea and runs with it.
Great idea, Elaine!

I like where this is going

It certainly reads as one solid fan fic. Although, I do have a small suggestion - as long as we have little restrictions on the HP characters we can use, let's bring back Sirius. Christmas just wouldn't be right without him
I promise I will make my contribution to the story, some time in the near future hopefully. Right now I have about half a dozen essays/short answers to worry about for school and college, and I'm afraid I'm out of creativity at the moment.

But I'll try to regenerate as soon as possible

P.S. I love the addition of the chipmunck!
P.P.S. The clues, I think, will also make for an interesting writing challenge. Great addition, workaholic!

It is an absolute must that Sirius makes his way into this fic. I was mortified beyond measure that he didn't make it into the last one!
As for the 'clues' please make sure they stay in order of The Twelve Days of Christmas as listed in my first post. I was a tad naughty and tweaked Ashley's input slightly

Elaine, you seriously need to consider putting a warning at the beginning of your posts. I was drinking my hot tea when I came to the chihuahua part and nearly snorted it out my nose. Not a good thing when you are dealing with HOT liquids.
Oh man, I'm going to have to add my little part soon, but I think I'll wait until after Dorthy contributes. Hee hee. Give myself some time to think of something good.

Good gracious. Elaine, it's all your fault! I really wanted to stick with Christmas characters, but you had the chihuahua, and Skippito just fell so perfectly into place! And it gives everyone a good excuse to go to the library and look at his book. I hope it's funny enough without the reference, but I could not resist! For future writers with Skippito, he likes to imagine himself as a sword-fighting chihuahua hero.
And I promise to behave myself next time I add something. I knew I shouldn't have started!

Oh my! Guys you are great!
Elaine thank you so so much for allowing us to do a Christmas Collab Fic! The ideas are great! And story is going wonderful!
Janet you are so good at this! I wish I could be as creative as you!
The elf-chipmunk... and the siamese-chihuahua! Hilarious!
I can't wait to try a piece myself, but school is so tight now that I'm in finals... Still, I had to take a break to read this great fanfic! Keep it going guys! I'll try to contribute before the end of the week! I'm only waiting for some good enough idea to pop into my head to do my share!
Great work guys!

I knew that I had to get that chihuahua in there somehow. It was far too tempting and somehow I knew that Janet would be the one to run with it. I completely forgive you for including Skippito! Because let's face it, I added a random off the wall character without worrying that I was breaking my own rules

So there I was thinking that this fic could turn out to be quite sensible and me and Janet go make it stupid...hahahaha! I love these collaborative efforts, they're so crazy...but I'm sticking to my guns about Freddy Krueger!!

...and Janet....

Oh, yes. I most certainly did!
Where are all of our inspired writers? Have I scared them all away with a little known book character?

At the rate we're going, this will last until St. Patrick's day!

YOU DID IT ELAINE! I was wondering if you would start another collaboration fic and I'm so glad you did! I'm not around VTM lately thanks to finals but this helped me unwind. Thanks

So I want to see what Janet has planned for the cat who thinks he's a dog

I'm loving this fic already

Great job

Here you go guys! A post with one of the requirements and Skippito too! (It wasn't a very good idea, but, hey, I wanted to share a little bit... *blushes*)
Oh Janet, I'm in love with that kitty! I'm going to order one of those books! He looks so cute!!! And his adventures seem like fun! (I'm very much into children books: one of my favorites is called The Plush Bunny...)
And Stef, you beat me to it! I wanted to do the glass slipper! Hahaha! But your thought of it was better than mine! Awesome plot! Hahaha!
Keep writing!

Anita, order the first book. It's the best to introduce you. It's just "Skippyjon Jones." There's several, but start with that one.
I've added to it and hopefully ended Skippitos part of the journey! Thanks for the additions. I loved Ron's glass slipper. I hope that gets explained in a later installment!

Thanks Janet! I'll try that one first then!
It's getting back on track indeed! It was good that Harry found the partridge in a pear tree, and the "two turtle doves" part of the song.
It was really funny the bit of Harry's muscles... Some readers must be pleased! Hahaha!
Ron's glass slipper? That's another story that I'd like to see unwind... Hahaha!
Keep it up guys! It's going great!

So, Ron, Dumbledore, Cinderella, her glass slipper and DD's gay apparel made an entrance. I have probably caused a train wreck with my chapter, but hey, no-one was doing anything with it!
JAnet, I loved Hermione looking approvingly at Harry's torso, and Ron's tyical reaction!

This thread has been deserted for quite a while!
I know this is a time of the year when everyone is busy, but maybe, just maybe, someone else might like to add something, and we can fish it before New Year's!
Honestly, I didn't know how to make the time travel adventure, so instead, I made Sirius turn up, which might make some fans happy!
(That's a nice Christmas present I'd like to have! *winks*)
(Sorry, I left the time traveling for the next person...)

Thank you for getting Sirius back into the story. As you will see I didn't let him just make a fleeting appearance, I'd like him in for the long haul
I didn't get the time travel in because I was tryng to wake up Ron, and get past the Turtle Doves. As Janet said earlier at this rate we'll be here till Easter so if we can get the twelve days of Christmas covered in record time, plus a few more writers back on board, we might get their in time for Valentines, hopefully
