Hello everyone!

Well, I've never written a fan fic before, but decided to give it a go... It's for the December One-Shot Contest and its theme is the Christmas right after DH.

I really enjoyed that! I thought it was very cute. I also like how original it is, becuase I looked at the December challenge and thought about writing one myself, and when I pictured Christmas it was nothing like that; mine was more of a generic version. I think you did a really great job.

You showed how happy everyone is now, and how Harry always wants to do the right thing. You hit everyone's character right on the nose. George's humor, Bill and Fluer being completely in love, Ginny loving Harry for all of the great things he does. Your one-shot was just spectacular. You really should consider writing an actual fic, I think it would be fantastic!

When Harry thought he had to talk to someone, I believed this person was Ginny. But I am so glad it wasn't, since it would have been really predictable. I wish there was more actually, but it is a one-shot, so how long can it be?

The part I enjoyed the most was its end. It gave me chills! This was so well depicted and so simple that went straight to my heart!

I hope your one-shot will win this contest so that you will find the courage to write more!

I am so extremely happy that my one-shot has gotten such nice reviews! Since I've never written any fanfics before, I was very concerned that people might not like it...

hp lover<3: Thank you so so much for your nice review! It made me blush! Hahaha! I don't know if I'll ever be able to write a full fanfic, this was just an idea that popped into my head and I thought, well, why not? You should write one too! That's the nice part about the contest, everyone can join in! I tried to portray each character's emotions, and I felt Harry still had something left to do regarding Teddy and Mrs. Tonks, specially for what it says in the epilogue. I'm happy to learn that you liked it! Thanks! I appreciate your comment!

alkisti: Thank you so much! What you said means a lot to me, specially coming from a colleague! And a writer too! Actually, the end was the first part I wrote... For me, it was the whole point of the story, so, when I finished all of the Mrs. Tonks-Harry bit, I just felt like I had to set the mood and give it a go. That was the part I was most interested to portray. I'm happy that it made you feel that way! Thank you so much!

Sorry I haven't read your one shot sooner! I just read it now, and I thought it was beautiful, the way Harry was being the family man he always wanted to be. I think Teddy would be really lucky to have a godfather like Harry, someone who can love and care for him. Face it, the little bairn deserves it after wht happened with his parents!

I really agree with hp lover<3 : you really should write your own full fic. The way you wrote this; it could have been JK herself, as you captured the emotions and actions of the characters, especially Harry, really well. If you come up with an idea, you should really convert it into a fic. If you do, I look forward to reading it!

I know you're competition, haha, but I've decided to vote for yours becuase although it is short, I think it has a different purpose than most of the others, and I like to read different fics.

Wow Kat. I just spotted the link in your signature and saw that you had written a one-shot for the December contest and I had to go look at it. And I must say that it was really good. I really liked how George, Ginny and Ron were researching (I laughed). WWW are much better! The ending was really beautiful. And I really liked his speech about being the godfather Sirius should have been. Perfect! I understand Mrs Tonks cried… it was sweet. So I’ve given you a vote, as I really liked this one. It wasn’t too happy, but not too sad either. Perfect, Kat!

Amy--: Thank you for reading! I just had a different idea: to give Harry a different challenge, and to allow him to become this person that could make a difference in this little baby's life. I am very fond of Harry, and well, I thought this fic could help demonstrate that he has grown up and that he's not into 'breaking the rules' (like dear Snape might have said) but into being a responsible and caring young man. awww... that was a really sweet fic! The way Harry was saying how he would be the best godfather to Teddy, spilling his heart out, everyone at Christmas, Ginny listening in on the conversation... That was just great! Good job!

Harry is such a responsibe godfather. He is so polite to Andromeda as well. And Ginny watching in the backround was really adorable as well. You should consider writing a lot more fics, on pretty much every charater. This is a great fic!

Like I told Alkisti, that's the first bit I wrote, and I felt it was the most important part of the whole fic. I felt that Harry would have wanted things to be that way, and I'm very happy that you liked it!

ronluver7: Thanks! That's exactly what I wanted to show: Harry being an extremely responsible godfather. I feel like he needed to tell Andromeda that, just to reassure her that he was going to be there and that he was going to try and do his best. I'm really happy that you liked it!
